I agreed with basically everything, though I'd personally also add that the relics overall were REALLY badly balanced, ironically in contrast to the locations which, barring Kandarin (WOW did that region get screwed over if you weren't just going for easy points/skilling), were quite nicely balanced overall compared to last leagues. Lumberjack compared to Animal Wrangler was basically no contest, and the same went for Banker's Note being better in almost every situation versus Last Recall. Some were a bit closer, but the differences otherwise were staggering. Combat masteries I do greatly prefer as well since it lets you be flexible with your options, but ranged was just flat out the strongest overall and it showed with the pickrates, similar to the general relics as well. It was fun for sure, but I could tell the other three couldn't measure up. And while Melee may have had its issues, it wasn't Magic atleast with splashing on bosses even at higher levels/gear, and honestly was why I went with ranged again this league even though I did last time, because the magic combat mastery perks were so underwhelming. I hope Jagex learns from Raging Echoes in order to better balance relics and combat masteries in the future, as well as making the echo items either compliment the items in the region, or make up for deficiencies in said regions i.e. a ranged echo item for Wilderness or something to do with magic in Asgarnia, and hopefully add more worthwhile content or tune up places like Kandarin in the main game consider it got MASSIVELY screwed over by some changes. Changes I think that were for the better in the end, but ones that I also think highlighted the weaknesses of a lot of areas as well, particularly ones with older content
300 kc is still a bit crazy to me. Even 150 is much. I didn't do a single 150 either but that's okay since I easily made it to dragon cup without those long grinds. The only long grind was 316 Nex because I went 6x dry on ZCB. I wish they made a dry protection there too like echo bosses because it did stress me out for 2 weeks.
I’m not a CA expert but I feel like boss kc shouldn’t have surpassed whatever kc is needed for said boss on CA’s. And if the boss doesn’t have a CA kc task then it shouldn’t have surpassed 50. Anymore kills after that should only be because u went dry. I got mega spooned a full bludgeon and pet within like 24 kills and a jar at 80kc so basically full logged sire in 80kc besides the head and dagger which I got from abyssal demons. Sitting and doing that boss for 300kc was super ass and I forgot to make sure I was doing the actual CA’s that weren’t kc related so once I did 300kc I cba and dipped tf out

Yeah the dwindling player count makes me sad too. They could just start removing league worlds so you don't notice it as much? Or maybe they can make it easier to play 2 or 3 accounts. Just make it possible to make multiple profiles to switch between so people needn't buy membership on multiple accounts. That would keep the league more active but I understand if they wouldn't do that because they'd miss out on quite a few bond sales.
I think your idea of shutting down servers to consolidate the active players is actually a great idea. Granted, that would be solely for the people who want to see the world more active, and could make different NPC encounters and resource spots cluttered again. But, as somebody who wants the world to be active, I'm all for it! My only other thought on that would be, what are the statistics of people who hop on the last week for the drop parties and end-of-league festivities? Wouldn't want to leave people out either. Thanks for the comment!
@@benjamincarmona3703 That is true! Everybody has consolidated to the end game content. Shilo Village bank is still always crowded. I guess moreso the starter areas, like Draynor Village, being empty reminds me there's fewer new players because people aren't starting up leagues now. I should have clarified
