- In today's video we head to Disney's Contemporary Resort for Brunch at the California Grill. This was one of the best theme park meals we have ever had, although it was also one of the most expensive. It really felt like a luxury experience though, with unlimited mimosas and a large selection of brunch appetizers. The price also included a main course plate, and although it wasn't listed as so we found out that you could order as many mains as you wanted! We were there with our friends from TheHolyMoly ( / @theholymoly ) We're so happy they invited us to join on their reservation because this is a hard one to come by! We loved the views from outside the restaurant as well. It was a great place to take pics with Magic Kingdom being all magical behind you! This was wayyyy better than the afternoon tea at GF. You can see the quality of the food and the service was on a higher level.
That tea experience for that price is indefensible
Great vid as always = a tip Tim forgot to mention = any meal you eat at the California Grille, bring your receipt back at night the same day and you can go out on the balcony and watch the fireworks

It's a night and day difference in quality compared to that afternoon tea they did a couple days before, everything appeared freshly cooked by professional chefs, and you can all-you-can-eat. The food and service definitely looks like it is worth it as a one time special occasion.
Like they said; this is about quality over quantity. I used to work for Disney and their buffets while tasty, are very much about feeding as much food as possible. This is a much different experience plus this also includes unlimited mimosas.

Actually, you can have as many main courses as you want! Yum! We're going this next Sunday for the first time and we're SO excited!

My hubby and I did brunch there last year and we were SO impressed with it! I agree, completely worth the price...we plan to eat here every trip when we have time available on a Sunday!
The contrast between this and the meals you had at the Grand Floridian and Sebastian's is STARK. Quality and quantity are so much better here! This definitely seems like the most bang for your buck, 100%!!

i love California Grill! It’s our favorite Anniversary spot, they take such good care of allergy needs as well.
Jenn - YOu looked SO pretty in that top, and Tim - loved you in that color shirt - such an adorable couple! Chis and his family looked great too. Okay - the only way this would be worth $90 a person to me - especially since I don't drink, so wouldn't be having any mimosa (which is partly how they justify the high price) is if I DID order multiple entrees - several of them! I mean - yes - it does look good, and fancy schmancy, but not at that outrageous price - sorry!! But thanx for doing this, guys - always appreciate you.

I would book this meal in a heartbeat. So many wonderful dishes to try, every single one looked incredible, and you can order multiple entrees for the same price. $90 seems like a lot, but even the buffet line food looked made in-house, if you down 2 or 3 entrees, plus fill your plate with buffet items, plus the large dessert set they give you, i it seems more than worth it.

Aww man, I went out on that now closed off portion years ago when a cousin was a college cast member. I cried over the fireworks. It was a lovely and sad and wonderful and .....disney memory.

I’ve been waiting for this video since my husband and I saw you there! He opened the door when you got locked out. 😂 I’m so glad you both seemed to enjoy it as much as we did! 13/10 worth the cost and it’s really a value when you compare how much some of those items cost individually at dinner. (Or drink as many mimosas as we did. 😂 Though we’ve had dinner too and it’s worth it also! ) If you go again you should definitely save your receipt and do fireworks from the terrace or lounge! It’s magical ✨ Was also way better to sit in the lounge with an appetizer and drink to watch fireworks and not have to deal with the mass exodus from MK afterwards. Thanks for the great videos! You guys are the best! 😊

Hi guys! First of all, that brunch looked gorgeous! Though I’ve been cooking vegetarian for nearly a year, fried chicken used to be my favourite “treat” food and Chris’ chicken and waffles looked amazing! And Jenn’s ricotta pancake also looked so good. I just really loved the presentation of everything and the buffet selection looked awesome. I’ll have to go sometime next time I’m in Orlando!
I just wanted to say that I really like that you put thought into what you wear and how you present yourselves at different restaurants. My dad is older than usual for someone my age, and grew up in a time when you dressed well all the time. He always made us dress up for family get togethers (even when our cousins were in much more casual clothing) and it always annoyed me as a kid, but now as an adult I appreciate the experience and always try to present myself accordingly for nicer dinners or when I’m working with clients. Thanks, Dad!
I actually noted Jenn’s floral dress before you have the conversation about dress code and thought it was lovely (it also just suited the look and feel of California Grill!) I really loved the video you did about packing for your Marvel Day at Sea cruise and appreciated all the thought you put into each outfit for each day/occasion/meal! You looked great!!

Great vlog, so glad you are doing more videos with friends that you can show. For me $90 is a lot. A lot. My fam ate there last year for dinner, we had. 9pm res and they said, “yeah, go watch the fireworks, no problem!” So great! Anyway, love it as usual.
