helped so much thank you for this in depth guide, i spent hours trying to figure this out and i followed your tutorial and soon as i did everything hit craft it worked first try, thank you so much!
Ok, I ran a test based on some of the comments below and the issues of the processors not getting back into the system for version 1.20. I started a 1.20.1 world with AE2 installed and attempted to make the auto inscriber as detailed in this video. I did find there were a few changes for it, but nothing that would break the build. First, the top center inscriber used to combine the redstone, silicone and processor template into the final processor does not need to be turned anymore. It can just be placed upright and it will still put the 3 items into the correct slot. If you do turn the inscriber, it will still work fine. Another difference is that the export bus no longer need an expansion card to allow exporting more items. They now have a full row available at the start. Again, this still does not break the build but does make it a bit easier. An extra shoutout to @spencerx5176 for helping me with reporting and testing this for 1.20. 🙂
everything works, but the last step. it loads all the circuits but doesn't process them into their processer part. any idea why? I hooked it up exactely as you did. thanks for help.
Glad that it worked well for you. I had done a test of this on my twitch and commented on this video that 1.20.1 does have a few differences in the build, but they are not things the really break this build, but do make it easier.
Great vid, works to make the processors when needed, but it keep taking items even when i don't want new items! Any way of stopping the inscribers taking materials automatically from storage?
i just want to add that if you automate extended inscribers fix your patterns to be in groups of 4 = output 4. example 4 redstone + 4 silicon + 4 gold = 4 processors.
i was so confused why mine wasnt working... it made the finished circuit but never exported it back to the system i found out after rewatching ure cable connections to the pattern provider were different so i moved them 1 block now it works x.x thanks for the guide

Greetings. Did set the storage bus behind the top middle inscriber to hold the 3 completed processors and put the 3 completed processors into the export bus to export the finished processors?
For whoever it doesnt work, look if ur quartz fiber is placed correctly and importantly, MANUALLY MAKE THE PATTERNS! Don't try to skip a part and auto-make the patterns, put all the stuff individually in raw materials it requires to make a processor. Played around with it a bit, works like a charm on the current ATM9 version! :)
hey i followed the tutorial, and it worked on other versions, although im on 1.20.1 and it seems that my inscriber make the following circuits but they don't get output to go to the final inscriber and i can't get it to work, any ideas?
Greetings. Usually the primary issue would be not setting the storage buffer correctly or the export buffer that is used to return the completed circuits to the inventory. I have tested this in 1.20.2 before and it does work.
Thanks for the video! I tried to do this in 1.18 and im having trouble where the crafting computer will not craft the items. I see that one of the front storage buses is empty (One connected to silicone printer), could this be an issue?
Greetings. Hard to say exactly what the issue is. The storage buses all need to have the correct raw and processed items in them to allow movement. The export buses also need to have the correct item set for those to move items as well. Then the crafting pattern also needs to identify what raw items need to be sent to the auto crafter.
It means you need to make a crafting processor first. You need that before the system can know how to handle the patterns. I believe it's a crafting cpu, coprocessor and crafting display for the simple crafting processor.
Might need to see if you set the correct items in the storage bus's and in the export bus. If those are not set correctly then the items will not flow.
@@spencerx5176 If the inscribers are holding onto their items then it may be the storage buses on the back are not set to hold the created inscriber item. I will have to set up a 1.20 world to test to see if this has changed in the current version and how to modify the design to work.
@@spencerx5176 I am going to start up a new world to test AE 2 on 1.20.1. Please join me on my twitch channel: www.twitch.tv/doublepixel42 and you can see me test this live so we can find out what works, and what doesn't.
I am considering but I also found out that the crystal growth devices are changing in 1.20. So it may be better to wait until after the new update comes out before doing a new series on AE2.
You should have an export bus on the side of the top inscriber set with the 3 pressed circuits and then an export bus set with the 3 completed circuits attached to the original pattern provider.
@@doublepixel4210 I had done that. I think the issue was too many channels on one cable. Not using Dense. So I separated things around and now it seems to be working fine
If you have too many channels used then you missed a quartz fiber that would separate the lines. There were 2 places that I had used it to isolate one mini circuit for the silicone processing and one on the top of the first inscriber to keep it from being read twice. @@King_Georges_Calcified_Elbow
Greetings. yes it does work in 1.19.2 as I had made the video in 1.19.2. It is the same design that I had used in 1.18 as well. If you find an area to be unclear, please let me know.
You might want to check to see if you have the storage buffers set correctly for the items they are supposed to hold. That and make sure you put the quartz fiber in the correct locations so you don't have too many devices on a single line.
May have added an extra cable somewhere. The inscriber that makes the silicon template is on its own network. Might need to pause the video in different areas so you can compare to the build.
I got a Problem in ATM 9.. it says that the Printed circuit would miss. When i put the patter in the Pattern Provider it say that i need like 50 presses🫠 help?

Does this work with Advanced inscribers ?

I did everything properly and its not working do i need the crafting monitor as well and whats that on the back of your me controller
Yes, you do need a crafting processor to make the auto inscriber work as the crafting processor is needed to process the patterns.
the printed silicon doesn't output for some reason, I replaced the inscriber and the export bus, the storage bus, and the quartz fiber
