Warren Buffett and Charlie Munger's presentations at the Berkshire AGMs always remind me of Statler & Waldorf from The Muppets.
The largest financial institutions like Blackrock and Fidelity are now dumping all their money in BTC and all the big banks are now partnering with crypto companies...just ganna leave it at that
"Money is never lost, it just goes from one person's pocket to another person's pocket."
True. But it is really important whose pocket it is leaving and whose it is going to.
Don that is a great point. It's now worth 100k per coin but you can't take it out, till we say ? Neal
Remember when Heath Ledger's joker just burned that enormous pile of cash though?
That's not true at all. Money is not fixed.
The law of “Conservation of Money”.
"A Broke persons home is full of good deals."
George is taking over the show! I’m here for it! Smart, quick witted and funny!
As long as it’s not overbearing obnoxious pretending-to-be-nice John, it’s not bad.
Yes! He's becoming my favorite of the "personalities." Like Dave except not curmudgeonly.🤣
Elsa J you are obviously George making fake accounts to compliment himself. PROVE ME WRONG
@@samuelstrachan2726 lol
Never keep your money on an exchange, that is how you lose it.
Lol this isn't the first exchange to flop it just the biggest one so far. There's the south African holding company that stole about 250million.
The emperor has no clothes. It's like George said, "The next big thing will be an NFT of a time share. It's a sense of ownership of a sense of ownership."
It's funny they left out that what drove ftx to bankruptcy is lending customer assets, just like every bank in the world.
It's a bank upgrade in itself! Certain features are added and certain procedures are eliminated
Was literally a replica of what banks do except banks get bailed out when it goes wrong. See what happens if every customer of a bank tomorrow morning ask for their money back....
Lol cryptocurrency is the future. Best investment i ever made.
A Jimmy and Warren Buffet concert /interview would be great
These people on this show are absolutely confident and happy in their ignorance..
I've watched every shingle annual meeting these two have done- You get so much wisdom from these two!
I disagree. They can barely speak at a reasonable pace these days
@@strchild3 What does how they speak have anything to do with wisdom- remember Stephen Hawkins?? I just pray that at almost 100 I can speak and be as coherent as them and still be able to do billion dollar investments, and run a company worth almost a trillion dollars- not sure how they speak at this age has anything to do with wisdom ????
I hope they received their shingle shots.
What stood out to me is gambling!
I was having a drink in a bar and someone came up to me with scratch off tickets they just purchased and said I’m looking to pay my car payment
What made it more crazy they were serious because they asked why I was laughing
Concour
Well this didn’t age well
Having inexpensive hobbies is great advice!
My dad once said find a hobby you like and can make money too. Mine was in radio control aircraft. Got to test models worth hundreds, access to the latest equipment and not only got paid for it. I also was able to get hold of a lot discontinued items and sold them on eBay.
I drive a 2004 Grand Prix in average shape for a car with 240k miles, I wear t shirts and jeans, all purchased at Walmart. I live in a 1200 square foot home and I wear work boots everyday. But my income is $130k+. I'm not saying I'm rich or anything but I see so many people who earn half as much as me with the huge house, new BMW/Mercedes, Prada and Gucci. None of that matters unless you're trying to impress people who you probably aren't even friends with and who you don't even like. But of course, everyone has their own ideas on how to live their own lives so more power to them.
I agree, but a huge house is an appreciating asset generally. It is not the same as having luxury items that go down in value.
Hey man lol. I know this is primarily a personal finance show, but don't forget to mention the importance of getting involved with a great business model and playing a critical role in it. That's how our personal incomes grow!
I had put in a few hundred into DOGE before it was over a penny but I ended up pulling back out at $200 profit. I could have held onto it longer and made more but I could have also lost it all like FTX clients
Doesn't seem to have a stability
So you bought high and sold low? That's a losing strategy for any investment lol.
@@ec5657 No. I told you I sold at $200 profit
George is such a great personality!!!
One of the wisest men to ever walk the planet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The blockchain technology is super useful, but not really for making money the way people think they will now. Reputable companies may start producing websites using the technology and it’s just a newer form of open source where the community can contribute and has some ownership
Blockchains real value is storing information. Not financial.
Isnn't that what stocks and bonds do? "The community can contribute and has some ownership"?
@@diceportz7107 it’s about the information, not the money. Open source is normally completely free but the community contributes to it therefore has a sense of ownership
@@diceportz7107 You cannot store information in a stock or bond.
@@tylersanders2388 And which stock do you own that does not give you access to the company information?
My $100 bill doesn’t produce anything either but its valuable. And I still like to have it. Not all my money has to be trammeled to an asset. It’s just a hot new type of money.
Words of wisdom. Love it!
Ha ha. What's up T?
Selling magic beans still works apparently
meanwhile regular beans have actual use, and magical beans are usually just regular beans.
Warren doesn’t invest in tech period. He says he doesn’t invest in things he doesn’t understand. So not exactly advice.
Not investing in things you don't understand sounds like pretty good advice to me...
Sounds like you don't understand that buying tokens is not investing in tech. Buying tech stocks is investing in tech.
Surely buffet recognises that quantative easing has weakened his assets and perhaps doesnt understand that this cant happen with crypto
Oh it can.
Charlie’s best quote
Definitely top 10.
Just live within your means.
Lobster is a giant sea spider- Jim G.
love the Powerball and lightning comparison...
This aged like fine wine....!
Not really. ;)
This has aged about as well as Dave's gold and silver advice. Wrong on all three.
Dave doesn't understand the properties of money and what makes some money more hard than other money
Like these reaction videos, please keep them going 👍🏼
What's up with George and his hate for Android? It's obvious he doesn't know anything about tech
Like most people. I don't like apple for it's proprietariness. I like to tweak my gadgets that I paid for, the way I feel like. Plus, it's way overpriced
I'm legit having beans and rice while watching this, and I had to chuckle a bit when Kristina mentioned it.
the way he says "told you so" at the end lol
Charlie has poetic license. Love this guy.
I'm a buffet fanboy but don't act like he's the model for enjoying life. He's a boring old dude who plays bridge... If you want to enjoy life living within your means and riding motorcycles or skateboarding or base jumping or rock climbing do it up. They are investments in life. Get into things that interest you not what interested a boring dude from Nebraska
Ramsey thanks for the information, I WILL LOVE TO KNOW ABOUT $PAW
We say Alameda different here out west. Wonder how they say it in HK?
And FTX declared bankruptcy 😂🤣
Not Bitcoin FTX is a company yes crypto the alt coins are bad Bitcoin is now over 40k thank you for believing in what a dinosaur is saying who has no idea about technology I appreciate it! I get to keep buying at these low prices and yes even now are LOW lol have fun when you miss out on one of the greatest assets in life I wonder how Michael Saylor feels about to become the wealthiest man and the most wealthy company in the world give it a couple more years ;)
FTX collapse actually highlights the flaws with traditional banks
Yes because its the same concept, keep only a fraction of what you took from people and loan the balance.
Sorry ... living in a modest home with a net worth of $42B is the most stupid move I've heard of ... period.
Why would you want to live in a mansion? That would be asinine.
Talks trash on crypto and blockchain yet refuses to bring anyone on the show that can educate them. Sad.
mutual funds down 30-60%, let's not talk about this little fact lol
Never trusted bit coins etc.
I love rice and beans.
the Australia ASX cancelled its blockchain project after spending $170M.
Thanks for sharing this information,$PAW is to the moooon
Can’t wait for this to age like milk, and the memes and reels that will come from it
So you think that they're going to the moon then?
Yes, I can't wait for cryptocurrency to age like milk.
Are you playing the lottery of cryptocurrency?
Realisation will kick in at some stage, if it hasn't already, and you will be shouting ''where's my money gone?''.
People are still thinking in the Stone Age of using banks, credit cards, and losing their money in the fiat system smh 🤦♂️
I wonder if anyone on the Ramsey team has ever thought of reading "The Bitcoin Standard" just to see what it is about.
They are too smug. Dave Ramsay would probably FIRE anyone who even had the book on their desk.
I like warren buffet,but just because you don’t fully understand the investment,doesn’t mean,it’s a bad investment..I invested in many projects I didn’t fully understand,but I definitely made a profit..warren Buffet didn’t invest in Microsoft,because he didn’t understand it….
Low cost Indexing is better than mutual funds. If you are looking to diversify trust a dart throwing monkey more than a thinking human- difference is that monkey doesn't have an agenda whereas a human does.
Most cryptos are a losing proposition, but there are a few that are going to make alot of people a ton, I'm not into it. But I don't think you can just say "crypto" and think it's all the same
You are correct sir, and if you choose to invest in crypto for God sakes keep it off the exchanges!
yes
you lose money when you decide to sell at the wrong time and at the wrong trend!!! don't let "avarice" get you, get your own strategy, and don't way for someone else to give you an advised, because everybody is greedy!!!!
He predicted bankman-fried in 2018 😂
And his bankruptcy. 😂
This was good and hilarious!
Their commentary is 100% correct.
Thanks for the video Ramsey. I will employ you to explore more on $PAW
Lol these guys have such a bad take on everything. Buy a wallet and be safe.
Blockchain doesn't equal cryptocurrencies!
There's nothing stopping companies from using blockchain!
I would kick it with Buffet 😎
yes i too hated turtlenecks until I was watching a LetterKenny episode one time and somebody asked Jared Keeso’s character why he always wears a turtleneck and he goes, yah lose a lot of heat in the neck😅. Hahaha and I realized that it was a true statement even thougu it is a fictional raunchy comedy. And so now I love turtlenecks. Don’t own any because I live in a warm region. But if I ever live in a really cold place like Canada I will definitely get turtlenecks.
If you don't hold it you don't own it!
🥰EVER SINCE I STARTED INVESTING WITH MR JAMES GIFFORD, HER TRADING IS THE BEST I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!❤
Natural, there’s a lot of math involved in cryto trading and forex trading,
but this is often presented in forms of daunting technical charts, indicators, patterns.
Trading systems allow you to limit the factor of emotional influence on decision-making,
I'm not here to converse for him but to testify just for what I'm sure of,
Success easier than we thought.
I have a friend buying crypto for retirement. I don't know how to talk to her.
99% of “crypto l” are just scams bitcoin bitcoin is the real deal. I think of it like digital gold 2.0
I was able to use bitcoin to pay off my house and all… and before that I used gold to pay off my credit card debts.
Dave Ramsay is CLUELESS about something like bitcoin. Do your own research.
Buffet's opinion is not totally right, but ha e you consider trading $PAW it is paying heavily
Warren Buffet doesn't cliip coupons, that's an aprophrical
"be a crockpot in a world full of microwaves" yessss!! 💓🤗
Imagine listening to a 90 year old in 1992 on how he thinks the internet and computers are a total joke. Thats what this is like. Lots of people will be gnashing teeth in 10 years with missing the boat on BTC... You can "get rich quick". People did it with the internet in the early days. You just have to take bold risks. Most people can't stomach it and see through the noise. Bitcoin is the most pristine monetary asset ever created.
Play stupid games. Win stupid prizes.
BRO WHY ARE YOU NOT TALKING ABOUT $AMCT20
This didn't age well.
A Lottery is a tax on the poor, stupid and greedy.
Just because FTX were defrauding people. you cannot say all of them do this.
They're trying to talk about something they do not understand.
They understand a lot more than you do. If you want to invest in Enron, again, do it.
Have fun trading turds ✌️💩
This mcgill dude complains on every video. You okay?
Agreed All Gratuitous assertions they say it’s bad and explain why it’s bad You got explained why for me to except your criticism

Is the bank an exchange?
This channel is fantastic for teaching you great habits for getting out of debt but for investing it’s horrifically bad. Real bad.
Please do share your wisdom with us.
The 15 people who liked this post are still sappy over what happened to FTX. There will be more.
Like what Charlie said. It's dementia.
yep. mutual funds baby! :) Horrible advice!
@@wololo4761to get out of the slaving system you need to buy assets or you will be stuck in this debt system loop. Buy stocks, real estate, Bitcoin (not shitcoins), and etc. Any kind of asset that you have a specialty of knowledge in, but the sad part is that the average individual is not educated in this realm so they get stuck in the system.
@JL-ds1pi No, just keep your bitcoin off exchanges and nobody can take it from you. Sadly people trusted FTX, I don't understand why, but they did.
So you’re going to tell me there’s no value in a payment system that is decentralized, permissionless, and that can settle basically instantly?
Those things are really true and yes there is value but it won't be unlocked for a long time
Nope.
No you must sit and watch your money devalue year on year whilst the person holding your money gambles with it and charges you for the pleasure
Football is a tax on both ignorance and spirituality. Good one.
Americans sure are weird about iPhones...
Warren also passed on Apple. He has missed on a lot of assets because he doesn't invest in what he doesn't understand.
metal detecting hobby...very inexpensive hobby, $200. you're in and use rechargeable batteries.... you can go decades for zero dollar cost actually making good money with coins and treasures... until you get mugged....make sure you don't carry a wallet in the field.
Cryptocurrency is the definition of Greater Fool Theory!
Clearly you have no understanding of money theory. All money is a belief system. It only works when everyone else agrees that it has value. Cryptocurrency is no different.
"Everyone gets bitcoin at the price they deserve"
Where is this list yall are reading
Yep, the lottery is a tax on the poor!
A lot of poor don’t “pay the lottery”. Lottery is “not mandatory” .
It is not a Tax.
I wonder what kind of tax you think it is when your money gets inflated away by the fed printing press.
Why being anti crypto? It is the best performaning asset class in the last decade.. You can say what you want but stop talking it down, 2023 Blackrock EFT coming, biggest asset manager on the globe. The person how cant see the potential in the crypto/blockchain market deserve to be left out. Your loss.
should you sell a little of $AMCT20 when you start to make a profit or just hold?
How do you feel about $AMCT20 moving into the nft marketplace? Is it still a buy?.
Well I don’t want to spend eight hours making popcorn.
Could you please talk about $AMCT20 it’s very strong and took off in short time thanks
I couldn’t agree more…
Crypto is currency just as much as a baseball card is.
People just can’t deal with the volatility. The key is to buy when it’s low and all the news is negative and sell when everyone is bragging about it
Ya - and then watch another debacle happen and the dip you bought is the new high. Hahaha
Lol. Preferably not play a game where the people above you can manipulate the odds at any single given timeframe.
@@JA-zh5xinope! Wrong! Funny thing is all you have to do is look at a Bitcoin chart history. But you're too lazy to even do that. Bitcoin cycle low was $200 in 2014, cycle low was $3200 in 2018 and the last cycle low was $15600 in 2022. Good thing I was buying like crazy when this video came out
We will rise with $AMCT20 and Matic!!! Just HODL
