Welcome to this video where I predict another difficult League Two table for the 2024/25 season.

Fair on Notts. Our big unknown is the manager. On paper we definitely have a top 7 squad, even without Macca, but the manager hasn't had opportunity at this level. Last year he had a bit of a poisoned chalice, but now he's had solid signings and a pre-season - his ability will determine whether we're up there or flounder again
As a Gills fan, we could easily be top 7, we have goalscorers now hopefully, which is why we struggled last year, and with Bonner, who won L2 with Cambridge and the signings we have bought in.
It’s not as simple as just picking out L2 top scorers though. Recent example was Dom Telford. Nolan scored lots of pens and Nevitt hadn’t been prolific before
By far the best predictions video I’ve seen (and I’ve seen a lot!) with genuine knowledge. You never know what surprises the new season will spring but looks very accurate to me.

Good review I would go with Port Vale to win it. The recruitment has been insane for a L2 club. Probably all going to be paid for when Dipepa goes to Man U for tens of millions.

Colchester to be dark horses for play offs. At last, we have an experienced coaching team with a proven track record who have completely re-designed the squad. We will certainly be hard to beat, just a matter of whether the young strikers come through.
Would be more than happy with a place in the play offs

I would agree over Hutchinson but Lakin Jellis RAM between them will score/assists more then Hutchinson last season
Jellis will suprise alot this season
Our issue is up top we sort that out we be looking towards top 7

Cant complain too much with a 4th place finish, IMO weve had an amazing window so far. I cant recall seeing the fanbase this united behind the manager in years. The aim has to be automatic promotion in a far more open league, but i suppose wembley wouldnt be horrible 😂.
Great vid mate, I'd argue maybe Bromley higher and chesterfield lower but a very solid prediction I'd say
@@kjt1854 thank you. Completely agree regarding an open league. I don’t think they’ll be a clear runaway winner at all.
Notts county sold their top scorer for the last two seasons, 40, 28, York city just didn't know how to use him and he went to Notts County.
Chesterfield all day long top 3.Grigg naylor maden dobra dunkley colclough etc etc etc and they have a manager in paul cook who knows how to win promotions.
Dobra, madden, grigg, colclough, Mandeville, Jacobs, surely one of best attack in the league mate. Dunkley is also probably one of the best/if not best CB in league as well
Need physicality in attack to do well in this league. Failing that some pace. Madden and Grigg aren’t that
Physically attacking players they've got berry Mandeville Jacobs colclough.akinola seen the physical attack on you tube when they thumped derby 2 weeks ago 4-0 so I still say top 3.
My top 5 are MK Don's, Chesterfield, Donny, Bradford and Carlisle 🤞

Bromley fan here, I do think we will finish higher than 22nd, typically most National League teams that come up do well, and no National League team promoted to League Two has ever gone down. In fact just two seasons ago, Grimsby who had finished 7th in the National League the season before (and went up through the playoffs) then finished 12th, top half their first season after that promotion. Additionally from observing Chesterfield last season, I think they will serve a bit like Notts County last season where they will concede too many goals, as I felt their defence was a weakness. They even lost 4-1 to Dorking, who got relegated last season, before they had actually won the title, lost 4-3 to Bromley when I personally thought that Bromley were struggling to score during that time period, and then they lost 4 games on a trot straight after confirming that they were champions. I do not think they will be as successful as Wrexham and Stockport have been in recent seasons.
@@CPTrains fair points. I just didn’t know enough about you to figure out where to place you in all honesty. I don’t think you’ll go down though. Looking forward to seeing what you bring to the EFL.
@@18Dapper Likewise, it's a real shame they put our fixture up at yours on a Tuesday night because if it was a Saturday it would've been a new ground.
Our defence was tinpot last season and we finished 12 points above you.. if we'd have not dropped off after we won league that'd have been higher🤣 that's how good are attack is. we've signed dunkley/gordan and vontae Campbell, some of the best defenders in the league with plenty of EFL experience and chey dunkley is probably best CB in league. Also got one of best attacks in league with madden, dobra, colclough, Mandeville, and Jacobs. The reason why you will finish lower is because you've barely got any EFL experience in the team, and your signings are mostly young loans with non/if any, men's football. Paul cook knows this league like the back of his hand, and we've won this league the most in its history(in the state it is). That's the difference. Also notts county didn't improve their defence, that's why they dropped off, we have improved our defence in every area..
Chesterfield champions I'm guessing?

@@Ironside-fz9vd you guys are such a tough one to call this season. It’s going to go one of 2 ways. Great or a catastrophe. Although, I can’t see there being many points splitting teams at all this year.
Bromley 22nd, not a chance, we will surprise quite a few in honesty, we didn't lose any of our regular squad from last season and our manager knows what's what, all the best to all next season.

@@18Dapper I understand, I honestly think we could be around 10th place, really looking forward to visiting several new grounds in my 53rd season supporting Bromley, Doncaster is one of them, Bradford, Carlisle and Port Vale too.

I think you underestimate The Brom. The FA Cup has shown over and over again that a good NL team will beat a bad EFL team. Tough season but we'll finish a good few places higher than you predict. Might have a few spankings but we'll do alright.
@@matthewhumphreys6100 this seems to be the general consensus. 1 I’ll take on the chin come the end of the season. Just didn’t know enough about you to feel comfortable placing anywhere else.

Carlisle will be top 3 I’d say anything else is a underachievement with the budget we’ve got

if we finish 10th we will be punching above our weight our recrutment has been piss poor despite yet another promise fron our owner that money is available we have brought in old men and crocs

@@18Dapper honestly I depend how we start if we start poorly I feel we will have a bad season because of the lack of experience in the side but if they gel properly we could finish top 12
