A series from a small development team that's been here for 25 years. Started as a dark top down shooter, to a memorable sequel with great humor, to paradise lost (the real postal 3) and a amazing 4th entry despite being in Early Access. This development team has gone a long way since the first game and it's awesome to see them still going 25 years later.
The first game isn't even THAT disturbing, It is violent, sure, but it is highly exaggerated by the media. If it was judged fairly without the media infamy it would've passed as an "edgy game", but politicians needed votes, so "violent video games, lmao".
@@DarkOmegaMK2 yeah it is unfairly judge by the media which is really dumb, but I say that the first game is disturbing for 3 things, tone, music, and the dialogue/diary like sentences in the loading screens, yeah it's not that disturbing by today's standards but back then when it first released it was something for some people. (Not counting the media unfairly judging it.)

@@DarkOmegaMK2 it's not the first to have a dark tone the first resident evil had it (if you get rid of the bad voice acting) and even the first fallout had a dark tone to it, but like you said it is the most infamous.

Postal series and RWS logo is such a memorable things that makes me smile. I have never taken violent games seriously and it's obvious that politicians and the media simply see videogames as an easy scapegoat.
To be honest, it takes big balls to make something like this, imagine being butt-fucked by lawsuits at first. Hopefully that wasn't the case for RWS, or if it was, it wasn't that much of an issue.

Postal is one of those games that you play when you know nothing about it or the series, and realize its themes are some of the darkest you'll see in video games, until Hatred. Postal 2 takes that and goes so over the top, saying it causes violent behavior is like saying watching a dog take a dump makes me want to take a dump. I love the series of Postal and its act of not caring about anything anyone says. It's the game that says nothing but says everything at the same time. RWS is easily in my top 3 video game companies of all time, along with id Software for their technological ingenious and Apogee/3D Realms for its incredibly iconic games. I can't wait to watch this, and send Papa Desi my regards.

I always thought it was funny that people would rather blame some dark video game than to admit that their fucking kid or whoever did that thing was the fucked up one to begin with. Like- if a video game changes your morals so quickly then you never believed them to begin with.

The news is full of shit, and has never provided any important things that affect the safety of others. They blame videogames as the cause of violence, but it's actually mental health and the stress of having to pay taxes and mortage + bills, or trauma. What I think is the reason to why the Postal Dude went postal was both trauma and stress of modern life.

I don't care that this was taken out of context, but most of the time, the NPCs that are supposed victums of your slaughter spree also have guns. They're also super rude over trivial matters. You just happen to have a little more guns and be a little more trigger-happy than most.

I mean even though my country Ireland has very strict guns laws but that doesn't mean that crime never happens in Ireland because it does there's a lot of knife crime in Ireland Ireland doesn't really ban a lot of games the only game that the Irish government has ever banned to my knowledge is Manhunt 2 so I'm positive that Postal 1, Postal 2, and Manhunt 1 weren't banned in Ireland although I have my problems with the Irish government being stupid and making idiotic decisions at least they have some common sense also one last thing even though Japan has a very low crime rate crime in Japan still happens also known as strange crime where crime can happen out of the blue without warning I'm looking forward to this documentary.
