🎃 Okay I'll have to check out Piñata when it comes out--I listened to the audiobook of Ghost Radio by Leopoldo Gout last month and really liked the concepts in it. It wasn't my favorite execution and I think the audiobook format made it more confusing than it would have been in print BUT I did enjoy his writing.

A bit out of left field, but I wonder if you have read Cabal by Clive Barker. It is set in Calgary and the foothills of the Rockies. There is a delightfully 80’s movie called Nightbreed that was actually filmed in Calgary (where I live).

Hey Jordaline bb! It’s your biggest fan, Tammy 😂 Loved the vlog even though you didn’t finish any books 😂 I read Dark Harvest and thought it was a cute Halloween story … Nothing mind blowing, but a good read nevertheless. My goal now is to read Autumn Crow by Halloween… That’s it … Just one short book. It would be awesome if I could read it tomorrow cover to cover. I bought some black candles and a white candle with a cute Dia De Los Muertos wrapper on it. I plan on lighting them for Halloween. I need to clean off my ancestors altar and move it some place, but I don’t know where. So, we’ll see.

Oof. The entire time you were reading Dark Harvest I kept saying "girl, just put it down, just put it down." Because it really doesn't get much better. I thought it was super poorly done, hate the writing. Great concept though. And it IS a movie, like a finished movie...but they aren't releasing it for whatever reason. It's probably bad too. 🤷♂️
