Great video. I have both lights. Had Makita for 6 years, came with a 5 ah battery for $129.00. Just bought the Milwaukee with a 6 ah battery for $149.00. I have a home repair business, so I use these lights daily. Excellent for plumbing under sinks and inside cabinet work. I like using the Milwaukee with an 8 ah battery attached. Very stable, and I like the adjustability of the head. Yes, the Makita is lighter for crawl space and even attic work.

Don’t own the Milwaukee but I can speak for the Makita , its been great for me. Had it since they came in stores at HD . At that time it was 79$ . Then they went nuts with the price.

Just remember, those battery adapters don't have low voltage cut off & if you run your batteries too low you could damage them. You should periodically check your battery level to make sure they don't go too low.

Most newer lxt batteries have internal cuttoff so not a huge deal

milwaukee probably would not lay flat with a milwaukee battery they stick out way more in the front than makita.

I've owned 2 of these Milwaukee lights for 5 ish years now and can confirm they do lay flat, the part of the battery that sticks out is on the top side and doesn't affect the the flat bottom side.
