Good race, track was pretty sporting 🙂
Well they had 35ml of rain the day b4 in an hour, it was lucky the race went ahead
What is that like an inch and a quarter
I’m not sure but I know it’s alot for 1 hour the track would have been stuffed
If this is the premier series over there, they need to do better preparing and maintenance of the racing surfaces
We don’t really have a Premier series anymore, we used to but haven’t since Covid, and this track is a shitter
Man the cars on the restart looks like Junior sprints in micro sprints or something, nobody was bunched up like you would expect
Anyone know how long this track is?

Anyway, it's about time that Australia had at least one Track of 1/3 mile length. We had a number when I was younger, Sydney Showground Speedway, Clairmont in Perth come to mind, also the old Westmead Track, that was formally in Western Sydney.
Just ask Ian Madsen what racing on those big ovals in the States is like, compared to coming back to .... Well whatever this is. We CAN and MUST do better than this, if we're going to put the "bum on seat's" that's needed to grow the Sport we love. Pretty simple equation, I'd like to think.
@@frenzalrhomb6919 this is good for Sprintcars, and we have some half a km ones in Sydney and Perth
@@JackHewett285 The new Eastern Creek track was built as per contract written up between the State Government and ... Well I'm not sure whom, but the point is that it was to be built "like for like" I E - what had (at Parramatta) is what you'll get at E.C, so that'll be a quarter mile.
Now grant you, the Perth Motorplex track I believe is 500 - 550m, but that's not quite the over 580ms that Claremont used to be, and it's still not the 600 plus that would bring it up to the 1/3 mile marker. Size matters ... "That's what SHE SAID!!" 😎
EDIT: - I'm the silly bugger that asked you a few weeks back if you were the "real Jack Hewett". Don't I feel stupid. Oh well, nothing's changed, so ..👍
Also, the flame throwers at the crucial moment do nothing to enhance the show. They are unnecessary distracting crap, both here and at the drags.
I can't stand it when commentators don't know the drivers names!. Will someone tell this commentator the drivers name is Ian Madsen..... not Ian Maddison.😠
Well to be fair he only made that mistake right there at the very end he said it correctly the rest of the time
