I've listened twice and still haven't made it to the end yet! This story is pretty nostalgic for me, as it reminds me of my old cat, an extremely introverted but highly affectionate Russian Blue. It's been many years, but I still miss her.

I loved this. I was having a hard time falling asleep and the length of this made it a little easier. I would love to see a sleep meditation that starts with a walk in the Seattle rain in a rain coat and boots. Nothings better than coming home from the rain, taking a shower and going to sleep.

I get to listen to the rain and wind of an autumn storm (here in Australia its autumn) and your relaxing voice Michelle. Im being spoilt this morning as i was awake all night with TMJ pain (what i call facepain). I might even need the woodfire to keep warm in a few hours as the weather service is predicting we could have an early snow storm to the south of where i live. @@MichellesSanctuary if the pain continues look into getting some theraputic ultrasound done on your face. One of my doctors suggested it to reduce the inflammation and the pain/muscle spasm cycle which occurs in your jaw. Both that and having hot wheatbags on my jaw joint have helped alot. Ive learnt alot since 1999 which was when my nerve damage occurred. Hope you get some relief. Blessings, Dot

Magnificent! You combined two of my favorite things: Scotland and rain. Had a plan to travel with the car from Finland to Scotland, making few stops in England and Ireland. But then came Covid-19 and the plan got postponed. I didn't give up though 😁😉🤩

I am so glad you appreciated them. I have had too many times in my life where I was yawn-shamed! It's a natural response and I like to give that permission to people as much as I can, especially before sleep. Lately I tend to listen to a few meditations on youtube, including Lauren Ostrowski Fenton's "It's Okay." I feel like I spend so much time reminding everyone else that it is okay that I forget to tell myself. I have a pretty steady sleep routine-- black out curtains, fan, lavender spray, journaling, and a meditation. I also really love the sound of rain.
Shoot, I love this one but your introduction "monologue" makes me so relaxed and happy that by the time I get through the first deep breath and the big yawn I've started falling asleep right after. That's a good thing I guess but I kind of miss the lovely walk.
