What a great choice to react to this great band. Very different.
That's MIKKO HEIKKILA singing. It is very odd that someone would request this. But, I'm glad they did. It's a unique kind of music. TUOMAS starts a new band about every 3 years or so. Like WOLFHEART, BLACK SUN AEON, and a few others. Also, Tuomas is a very talented musician.
The guy playing all the instruments is Tuomas Saukkonen a Finnish composer, multi-instrumentalist, singer and producer. He plays most, if not all, instruments for most of his bands, and is also a prolific songwriter, releasing albums at steady intervals. His bands include Dawn of Solace,Before the Dawn,Wolfheart and several others. I will always love this song and thank you for playing it!
He also doesn't like to talk during live concerts. Last gig I attended he came to the stage last, walked straight to the drums with his face half-covered with a cap. He stayed there, playing the drums cap still covering his face through the whole event.
...but I do remember Sauna Open Air 2011 where he was one of the hosts. We finally got to hear him speak publicly - and on multiple stages!
I guess if you can master a 7 string guitar, then playing bass and/or drums is a piece of cake.
Nice to hear some heavier music on your channel! Never heard of this band before but not bad!
I randomly stumbled across their album The Darkness a few years ago. It's really good. Worth checking out.
