There is a real sense of satisfaction when you feel like you're actually fishing the water properly and not just practicing your cast. I like your tips on keeping the tip high to reduce water disturbance when fishing close. Cheers
Timmy ! Good stuff and thank you. I especially like the stuff about being stealthy; not ripping line off the water. I see some guys; I can tell they've never hunted or trapped. Yes, spey fishing is artful, but we are here to catch fish (fist bump)
Hey brother. I appreciate all the info you share, it’s really amazing for free. I guarantee your viewship would increase and your points would come across stronger if you got a wireless mic. Get a simple wireless clip on mic, this way when you are facing away from the camera we can hear you. Just some feedback from a stranger. Cheers,
Master, can you help me put together a setup? I have a Scott L2H 1106 and a Loop Classic reel and also a backing and a #5 cut line fly for the tip. I have a 350 grain Skagit Head china. I need to know if it will work, here in Brazil I can't find anything about Spey but I can fish with what I have. Can you help me from both the tip and the leader? I'm going to fish Peacock Bass 60Up and Golden Dorado too. It's difficult to learn here in Brazil. Thanks
A medium 10’ floating mow tip with a heavy rod length mono leader should work or 10’ of T8 and 3’ of heavy mono leader for sunk flies. If it is difficult to cast consider snipping a foot or two off the tip of the china floating Skagit head. Hope this helps

Cheers,
You should send him one or gofund me a good mic, I am sure all the followers would support this.
Thank you
You're welcome!
Great video with a lot of practical advice. Are you using an integrated line? If so I'm shocked.
Not integrated but a monic pvc running line. Shoots well. But very tiny. 27lb test. Next time I’ll get the larger size. Good stuff for pvc
Not too shabby buddy send it don’t mend it
Looks like that rod will handle a giant
