    Fantastic review. By far the best review on the new Camry. Thank you so much!

      Bruno Arruda , thanks for the compliment! While it was not a drive review, it should be a good one. :)

      Indeed! Just a quick question: how tall are you? I noticed that while there's plenty of headroom in the back, legroom looked a little tight in the video. Is it lesser than in the current (2017) Camry? Thanks!

    • @CleanMPG
      @CleanMPG  7 років тому

      Bruno Arruda , just over 6 ft. The rear seat legroom feels about the same as the current 7th gen. Headroom appears to be more. That was surprising actually.

    can someone explain what a hybrid car is, sorry im completely new to cars

    • @vgman94
      @vgman94 7 років тому +3

      It uses both gas and electricity as fuels. It does this by using two different types of engines (though many hybrid cars can have more than 1 electric motor).

    Thanks for providing this. With the new battery locations, do you expect the backseats will fold down or will a pass through the trunk will be available?

    Think the hybrid rims should've been on the standard model to make it look more sporty like those other sports car

    This looks really good. I'm in between the '18 XSE V6 and the Hybrid. One of my family members has a '15 Hybrid Avalon and the other has a '16 Hybrid Avalon and they made me wanna look at a Hybrid model. However I like driving fast but seeing as how the Hybrid systems have oomph from the electric motor I was thinking it should be pretty quick. I believer the '18 Camry will be able to have a Panny and a regular sunroof. I'd opt for the Panny though. I'm really curious about the cooled seats though and the SE Hybrid model. I feel like it'll have cooled seats especially if the Avalon has them but hey I may be wrong and I wanna see if they can add a little sporting to the SE hybrid unlike the '17.

      Volkswagenboys, I hear you. The new 2018 Camry hood has the 4 feature lines like the Avalon. Hoping the Pano roof and cooled seats are included but I bet they will not. And a better sun visor. :)

      If the cooled seats aren't included I'll be looking towards the avalon/charger.

      Hamid, they would not allow it to be opened. Short lead is scheduled for early June in which we will have access to the trunk, engine bay, and be allowed to drive it. :)

    Dude you are really tall I have a 2016 Camry and it fits me front and back more than enough. Lol.

      ALvin, 6" with a 34" inseam. I use my height as a standard measure of rear seat room in all of the cars we test drive. It adds consistency from one to the next despite the stated interior volume specs which are in some cases a bit generous for some makes.

    • @vgman94
      @vgman94 7 років тому +1

      The measurements you used are exactly my own. This is great for figuring out how it would fit me. Thank you.

      vgman94 , so glad you found them useful. The 18 Camry short lead is just 5 weeks away and you should be hearing a lot more about it by the end of next month.
      I think Toyota is going to do well with this new Camry.

    If you're financing through Toyota Financial services, know that we are no longer allowed to use our credit cards to pay for our carpayments, RIDICULOUS!!!! If you want to use your credit card, you can only do it through Western Union which charges a 27 dollars depending on your car payment and as much as 80 dollars if you want to pay cash. Terrible idea to charge your customers such insane amounts in order to pay their bills. Because they're afraid we will accumulate points. That is your only option if you want to use your credit card. WHY?????

    • @HarrLable
      @HarrLable 7 років тому +6

      lesly Dutch why would you pay your car payment with a credit card? That's like saying you wanna pay your credit card with another credit card...it would be a balance transfer....

    • @vgman94
      @vgman94 7 років тому

      Does this apply only to the Camry or to all Toyota vehicles?

      @saltylures 7 років тому +2

      HarrLable I paid for a Camry using credit card payments and got back almost 600 bucks with cash back. That was my reason and it's convenient. Oh and bumped my credit score about 13 points.

      Saquib, the Embargo on the first drives ends on Wednesday, June 21 @ 7:00 AM EST. You will learn a lot more about the new 2018 Camry then! The specs are under wraps until that time but they are eye opening. :)

    55 mph = hov stickers

    • @CleanMPG
      @CleanMPG  7 років тому +2

      Mikel, not sure what you mean? HOV lanes are High Occupancy Vehicle lanes and an HOV sticker - for Plug-in, BEVs, and FCVs in Calif. now - allow one person in the car to travel in those lanes legally.
