Chuck Dietz - TSO Fireflies Contest Entry

Dialog:
-Dude, new contest! We get to jam with TSO!
-It's just a contest. I don't think you really get to jam WITH TSO.
-Silence, fool! If we rock hard enough, maybe they'll let us jam with them when they come to Pittsburgh!
-You really think so?
-It doesn't hurt to dream, right?
For you enthusiasts, I recorded the audio and video simultaneously while playing the song, then synced the audio/video in After Effects. The signal was recorded through Audix i5 and Audio-technica microphones. Post-recording effects include panning (lead on left, rhythm on right), some slight compression, just enough noise gate to cut out the amp hum. I also cut 2dB around 700Hz and added reverb to fit into the mix better. All effects were done as subtle as possible to prevent masking the original signal. Audio recording/editing was done in Logic Pro X.
Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks again to all my UA-cam supporters, and thanks TSO for making this contest! And I sincerely wish the best of luck to the other entrants--let's give this our all!

It'd be awesome to win :) but no, they haven't announced any winners yet. The rules stated that they'd be announced "on or around jan 7th". TSO's on tour though, so they're probably preoccupied at the moment
