Your work is fantastic and criminally underrated.
Wow......i never looked into your channel thoroughly bro, so sorry im only just now stumbling upon all your work. DIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEETTTTTTTZZZZ
This song honestly hits hard for me truly you are a master in making amazing music chuck Dietz! The video is beautiful truly a Final Fantasy Journey and the song reminds me of home. Thank you for always showing love to the best games that made me happy while growing up! You are the best!
Good to see you man. Incredible work as always!
You're The Best Chuck! A True Gem
Looks like my home state of Montana.
Pretty close! I went though South Dakota and Wyoming so just a hop skip and jump away
The mixing is way off on this. It has a lot of potential if the volume levels were properly balanced. But the instruments just all sound muddy and unpleasant like they're competing for attention, rather than working in harmony. It's unfortunate because it would have sounded really great otherwise. You almost had it!
That's an interesting perspective. Was there a particular instrument or part you thought was too loud or quiet? I thought it was mixed well but I like hearing room for improvement, trying to nail that harmonious mix!
@@fhatsk8er I haven't got time (or a place) to listen to it right now. But off the top of my head, it just seemed like the mixing was off in general. As I said, the best description was like each instrument was vying for attention. I'll have to give it a proper listen later when I have a chance. Just be sure to reply to this so I can have a sort of reminder in my notifications. Otherwise I may forget. I'm scatteredbrained like that.
I also wanna say, I really appreciate you taking the criticism in such a mature manner. A lot of people would take it personally. And I can understand why. You put your heart and soul into this and shared it with us, basically opening your heart up to us. So it's a huge show of character that you're able to take criticism so well. Honestly, it's a trait I not only respect. I downright envy it. Thanks for such a refreshingly different experience from the usual vitriol one is bombarded with whenever they give cirticism even on things they just enjoy, but didn't make. If that makes sense.
I can tell you're a good person and extremely mature. For what it's worth. Not gonna pretend to know how old you are. But it doesn't matter. I've known 45 year olds who were less mature than a 7 year old.
@@fhatsk8er Also, this is totally random, I know. But wasn't Charles Dietz the name of the father in the movie Beetlejuice? =P lol almost typed Beatlejuice. It just makes me picture the Beatles in a blender. Faces pressed against the glass saying "help us! help us!" before being turned into literal Beatlejuice. Sorry I just couldn't help share that..
@@VoidHalo thanks I appreciate you! FWIW you worded your criticism objectively and thoughtfully, I think that's perfectly fair. If you said "hey asshole your song sucks" that would've been very different 😂. And mixes can always be improved so doesn't hurt to hear feedback. To your other note, yes, that Charles Dietz in beetle juice haha!
@@VoidHalo You forgot 😭😂 I was interested in hearing a more detailed description of your constructive criticism and perspective lol
Also... What's IS up Chuck my dood?! It's Momo/Dakota btw 😅 It's been a minute but I just wanted to say that I genuinely hope you and your loved one's are doing well, Because you are a very genuine, humble, kind, positive and just an all around awesome dood! And it's always been an extremely awesome experience anytime we have talked 😁 Honestly, Maybe I should try to hit you up just a bit more often to hear a little more of some of that positivity that anyone could use more of in they're lives tbh! 😄 I'll always be looking forward to any new content from you my man!
