HEY Y’ALL! Merina is my name and Mobile Home Livin’ is my thang! Around here I’m known for mobile home makeovers and large family mobile home livin’! I used to do mobile home livin’ in a trailer park in Tennessee. We’ve set out on a new journey and bought our dream home - a double wide mobile home on some acreage in the hills of Tennessee! Marina. Instead of 4 railings to "phantom " doors how about tiered planters on each side of the single rail pair to the real door? Even pots with pretty flowers...

I worry if nanny ever needs a walker. That railing is very narrow. Beautiful design. 🥰🥰🥰
Most walkers are about 25” wide and wooden screen doors 32”-36” so should be fine.
I feel that bottle baby situation. We rescued abandoned feral 1 day old preemie kittens (2 lived 2 did not :( ) and are currently coming up on the 4th week of round the clock 2 hour oral syringe feedings. Can you say sleep deprived??? I'm not getting to bed till around 5am and then hubby takes over so I can get about 5 hours of sleep. I'm almost 60 years old...and it's not easy! LOL! One kitten is thriving...the other is a struggle but surviving so far. Please pray our energy and endurance holds out to be able to nurture these little babies to health. We have decided to keep them. How could you not after pouring so much love and care into them.

I’m a previous vet tech if one kitten is struggling a highly suggest you take it to a vet. It could have a blockage and be not able to eat eat properly. As well as I can do a health check on the other one to make sure it’s healthy as well. If their mom left them, they may have something wrong with them and they need to be checked for feline leukemia.

@@joanrosado3355 Oh yes...ours still had the umbilical cords and were a dirty mess. We know the feral mama cat that had them so we know they were only a day old when they fell out of the ivy wall from the 2nd floor eave. Apparently mama cat thought she was a bird and had a "nest" in the ivy on the outside of the building. Of course they fell to the ground. They were nearly frozen on a 30 degree early morning. It was quite the situation. We are doing all of that that you said. This isn't our first rodeo. Our 4 year old tripod was a rescue 3 1/2 week old almost lifeless kitten as well. :) Blessings!

I would use the two sides from the steps to put flower pots of your family favorite flowers 💐, but whatever you decide to do, it will be amazing ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ oh and I love the baby goat. That’s a very narrow entry. You must have another door for carrying in furniture etc.

I'd love to see a video some time of how to do the envelope system and any tips you have for how you make it work for you. ❤ I have adhd and I have tried the envelope system in the past, I ended up getting overwhelmed with all my envelopes

SO HAPPY FOR A NEW VIDEO!! YA'LL I am usually praying for everyone else, but if you can pray for my family and myself, pleeeeaaassseee!! I'm a single parent to 2 amazing kids, I run a small hobby animal rescue, and Im the bread winner. My 18 yr career came to a sudden halt with no pre-warning and no 2 week or even 2 days or 1 hours notice, they did a firced resignation that I thought was because I had to go on an emergency lunch 10 min early when our natural gas pipe leaked under the house (huge safety issue) even though I made it back in time, but they claim the client (which usually opens a new dept before closing another dept...I was always one of three ppl chosen to launch the new depts) that the new ckient didnt kaunch a new deot before closing our dept. I've applied to over 130+ jobs so far, everyone keeps telling me I'm over qualified, or I'm not specifically qualified for their job position (even though I'm extremely quick at adapting my skills to include new positions and I've done it a million times). I can be trained to do anything, I'm like a swiss army knife 😅 , but some companies don't want to train a subject matter specialist and project coordinator to be the perfect person for their position. I get it, they want someone who already has experience with that at a different company, they need a fork and don't want a swiss army knife that has a fork, spoon, knife, screwdriver and can multitask. There's the age old question, how can you gain experience if you don't get to do it? I've tried studying those things, but then no jobs are offering those types of jobs, I can't keep up studying for different experience of different jobs, but I'm sure trying! I'm looking for one of the companies that would rather have an amazing, hardworking, skilled, dedicated worker and train them (me) in to what they need. Or for my own business to take off! That'd be a dream come true! For now, savings is running low, we are at a temporary place to live because the gas leak pipe still hasn't been fixed in months, and the leaky roof collapsed and ruined all our clothes, items, furniture, you name it. I am trying so hard every single day, on a routine of job search, apply, resume, reach out, call, go in, email, but I'm running into brick walls. I know for a fact that God has our back, I have full Faith that God will get us through all of this! and if yt ever lets us posts then I'm supposed to share how we persevere these trials and tribulations in order to help others have faith in God getting them through anything too! Prayers can move mountains, so prayers for a career or biz to take off for me, and a new home where we can continue to rescue animals would be amazing!! Thank you all! Thank you Rena and family! My most favorite people on UA-cam!! I am so thankful that you listened and obeyed to the calling God gave you to start this channel. My family is going through some REALLY hard times (aren't we all in one way or another) and I find myself sometimes mad at God for taking my sister (she passed March 13th with no warning) leaving her 3 sons (14, 12 and 10) without their mother. I know God has a plan for all of us, but sometimes I feel like life is a bathtub and he left my water running, so it is overflowing. I don't really have many friends, so I am alone a lot with my 8 year old blessing from God. Thank you for always being such a true example of Gods work and your home looks BEAUTIFUL!

Do you & Shane realize that you have built a beautiful Castle? My brother was an artist & he made an awesome wooden carved out piece of art for us & he named it "our last name" Castle. I collect miniature outhouses so of course he etched an outhouse & a Joshua tree & other things the desert has. It was meant for the front door, but my hubby hung it in the bathroom. I love it so much. Your faith shows in the things you guys do. How I wish I was young again I'd make our place a Castle. Love watching you guys! 🤗🤗💕💕

Just my opinion, I would get rid of the rails that led to the door and keep the rails at the ends so it just looks like wide steps, but to have stability for nanny when she comes over I can see the need for the rails that led to the door💜 So happy for you guys everything is coming together. Shane and Merina, what about building raised garden beds on the left and right set of stairs? You could plant flowers in with your vegetables. It work as a pest deterrent. Check out companion gardening.

Harsh winters, I have a grit added to the paint for tread and safety reasons when I had a wood front porch. Went light with the color for cleanliness purposes. I also go by a no shoes in the house rule. Boot tray by the door. If I had the space there would be a shoe cabinet by the door too. Loved that you screened the porch in. If you even rebuild it I'd wire it for a ceiling fan. Such a nice outside living area.
