I'll give you a summary. 1: he has a proven blueprint for success that works. 2 His staff (offensive coordinator, defensive coordinator, quarterback coach have been with him for years. 3: He brought 13 of his former players over to IU, who know the system and helped the rest of the team to learn it fast. 4: The rest of the transfer guys he recruited are guys who are experienced at playing productively at their former schools. Cignetti wanted production over potential. Anyway, google him or UA-cam him for more details.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re overlooking Nebraska, Indiana, Michigan, and Penn State who they believe is overrated. We should be hyped, supporting our team, giving the players confidence. I won’t take Nebraska over Ohio State but do I think they can beat Ohio State? Absolutely. But that starts with having the right mind set. Tony White has to be sleeping well tonight knowing his defense could only make one stop an entire game when Satterfield's side moved the ball multiple times, but his response is all that will be talked about. And Satterfield should be criticized but let's not pretend like the defense could have beat a high school team on Saturday. They didn't show up. Both should be on the hot seat. The defense for two years has had no answers to the RPO and adjustments have been nonexistent except for one game (Rutgers). Satterfield had a tone deaf response in the worst time ever. Happens but doesn't give him a pass either as the offense has shown they can't do the little things right and perhaps if their coach can't even get the little details right, then its coming around to the whole team.

I’m going to keep saying this. I have seen tons of talented guys like Raiola make fan perceived mistakes because everyone around them is playing bad. Name any team sport at any level. You have one really talented player and bad players around them and they will inevitably make turnovers. Why? Because they’re trying to make something happen. And when they’re the only player trying then it’s easy for the defense to figure it out. They can’t run, the O line can’t block, get to Raiola. I just don’t see what everyone else is saying about these “mistakes” he’s making. The passes he is making are phenomenal. On such a high level even in the replay with the camera behind him you’re thinking “How did he make that pass?” It’s not Raiola. All I see is a really talented qb with people playing bad around him and his turnovers are from him trying to make something happen. Your defense can’t stop them, you’re down 21… people expect him to throw it away? No.
