Those replays you showed of the Indiana defense attacking, looked like they were like a stirred up bee hive, buzzing everywhere and just shredding the blockers, they appeared faster but it’s not that, it was quicker more aggressive movement, and startling, and I bet it was very hard for the players to play against,

Looking back that was definitely pathetic they were lost how two defenders come open and three blockers there

Start using a Fullback on some of these shorter yardages, it is an extra blocker going thru the hole to take out the linebacker or whoever is filling the hole. To me it is a no brainer.

Pre snap motion with Barney and Lloyd as identifier for Dylan and to open up banks and neyor more. Maybe settle on ball carrier (emmitt johnson). 2 backs shotgun with rahmir as a pass threat. The most important thing is simplifying this system for the kids.

Plenty of questions. Will Nebraska media actually ask them? They have yet to do so.

This style of offense works well in the open field. However the QB has to be able to run. These plays take alot of time to develope. You can see them from a mile away. Everyone including the pros run this scheme. Back to blocking, smashmouth football and pop some long ones. Give the defense a chance to settle in. For God sakes block your assignments and peel off running down field. Defense needs to be reminded to tackle and strip the ball. Nebraska will recover and go to a bowl game. They will be ready this weekend. No doubt about it. Expect a nail biter.

Dont you think we'll see Harberg more the last four games when they dont have to use DK's redshirt if he has to be the backup

I would would say probably and only because I think Dylan could be nursing an injury that right now doesn't keep him from playing. If Dylan remains able to start and finish the game we won't see HH.. Rhule seems all about getting Dylan a ton of experience and reps.

    Adjustment to Rhule's Annual Salary: $8,000,000 - ($200,000/loss)(2 losses) = $7,600,000

Our coaching is substandard bottom line. Its their job to motivate and develop the players and scheme to the talent we have. Yes Indiana is a good team but we arent getting our moneys worth so changes need to be made. Losing is one thing, not really showing up another. They were beat mentally very early in the game no doubt about that. I will be suprised if we win another game the way it is now. As Damon says we are too predictable. A 5-7 season is very possible again.

None of these guys ever want to call out the elephant in the room. The coaches are not producing. Either the players are bad or they aren't being developed. Both choices come down to the coaches not getting it done.

True story. Why hasn't the QB gotten any better. He has been worse. What's being done to change that. The offensive line isn't anything much, the rbs that's just the offense. Yep coaches haven't done anything special this season

The offense is metricly better than last year. This was a very bad game. But most of the year is hasn't been like this. You don't "develop" players over a period of 6 games, you develop players over the course of 4 or 5 years. That's how development works. Raiola is not worse than he was before. His accuracy is still incredible. He simply has to force throws because there is no WR separation at all. The coaches are not the ones that produce. The players are the ones that produce. We like to think we have a pretty good team of players. But that's what about 70 DI teams think. Not all teams can win. 5-2 after the disaster of Frost is pretty darn good and that CU win is looking better and better. It's not just coaching. The players just aren't that good.

@@stephena5752 cignetti isn’t having our r issue in year one different world now with transfer portal. Of course getting rid of sims and replacing him with someone who holds the ball cured that.
The metrics look good due to inferior competition at the beginning of the year. If Sims didn’t turn it over so much last year we would have won several more games. The coaching staff sought him out and thought they could change him. Raiola is a stud when given time. If they get him a run game and protection he will be special. If not, it will look like the Adrian Martinez era.

How can you not in your right mind not have seen this coming looking at the way they played the last six games the offense and special teams the defense hadn't been tested really yet Indiana was their first big test of what type of Defense we have. So what should have told any coach then if we don't fix this before this game this could happen we could get ran out the stadium and they did the defense if anything that's where your shock is if you going to say I didn't see this coming even though the defense hasn't played a real quality top quality offense you didn't expect the defense to get manhandle like this so in that respect the defense was the biggest shock I knew they was going to give her points but not that many the defense had no answer at all but I knew the defense had a problem because of the last six games they played they were struggling with mediocre teams I'm just keeping it real and they kept bending a lot but not breaking Nebraska's lucky to be 5 and 2 and it depends on this football team the personnel because they haven't grown up yet the hunger is not there the drive is not there and the commitment to play Four Corners straight with the energy it's not there you shouldn't have to teach that the player should want that and live that breathe that if they say they want to go to the next level and they all say they NFL players well like the coach said if you feel like your NFL players then compete with NFL players and they haven't been able to do it I like the cold said if you can't do that then you're not NFL material and if you really want to get to the NFL you got to understand you got to come out with your A-game for four quarters each game because you better believe the NFL Scouts are out there and they listening and they watching from the TV or in the stands and it's showtime and you haven't been producing what you got an opportunity this weekend starting with Ohio State and you got USC coming up and the rest of the teams you have to play you can redeem yourself but you going to have to win the majority of these games and you can do it the players and the coaches how are they prepare you mentally and physically for each challenge
