Forgive my Felix-like OCD here, but the copyright date the title card shows at 5:58 is MCMXLVII which = 1947, as opposed to the actual date of 1967 which would be MCMLXVII with the X after the L and not before.
"To my wife and beloved children. Not even the window frame was on my side this time. You can send my wallet and other small possessions down by courier to my chiropractor's office, where I'll be for the rest of the week" 🥲
One of my favorite jack lemmon and walter matthau comedies i can watch this again and again it is a favorite of mine and will always be
"Good night."
"Good bye."
So beautifully done.
Nostalgic '60s . This is one of the best classic comedies of all time.
Thanks. Great titles. New York in the 60's, Neil Simon's story, and Jack Lemmon, and Walter Matthau at their best.
Watching in 2022 and wishing for a Time Machine.
I am minus several years from this, but it's still one of my favourite movie themes.
An absolutely wonderful opening scene of the failed suicide attempt of an obsessive-compulsive neurotic.
Many thanks for posting. Best movie ever. Great intro too. Muuuurrrrayyyyy!
Great tune!

"But first, a stop at the go-go club".
