- This song takes me back to Colorado, last June. I was driving and hiking around by myself, and I discovered this song and it hit me really hard. It colored my time in Fort Collins and Denver. But it wasn't the original I had on repeat.

I had the miracle of meeting him in October when I got snowed in one weekend in Helena, Montana. He's the one who bought me my first hot meal in days and solidified something I have known for a while about Montana. He also told me the best hikes in town and the best places to get coffee, and I did both the next morning when I gathered enough courage to drive in the snow :)
"Lady in Blue" has this beautiful unity between chords and melody that is so satisfying, refreshing and warm. And the lyrics, I can't pretend the second verse doesn't burn my eyes every time I hear it.

I was playing piano while listening to this, trying to play it with you. It was really fun. Then the song ended; I tried to play the parts I could remember, then accidentally trailed off for like 10 minutes, playing random stuff I made up as I went. There's a word for that, but I can't think of what it is.
Anyway, thank you for this! It made me really want to play piano. I haven't had a chance to play as much as I'd like to. At least not on a good one.
I also love how it has a lot of meaning to you. Music is always better when it resonants deeply withing the artist delivering it. ☺️

@@keudae It really is. Like, after hearing something cool, I can start imagining different sounds within the same song, and it makes me want to experiment with it. Most of the stuff I try doesn't work, but it's still fun and a learning experience.
