Hello I've been watching your video and I've a question How do you do when you want to add 4 flipping cards ? I tried but when it comes the thirth slide dont do like the others Thanks You keep going !
Thanks for the tutorial! I tried experimenting a bit too and found out that you can make the 'card' do a vertical flip as well if you put the 3d rotation on the y-axis instead of the x-axis. Your videos are great! I am learning a lot just from this channel :)
Hey, could you please make a video about how to structure a complete PowerPoint presentation with good and different slides in a good pattern or scheme?
Thanks a lot for this but i was just wondering because when I try and do multiple by repeating the process a weird afterr image of a second card goes behind the animation? anyway to fix this?
You should leave pptx file in the description for people like me who have done everything like on video, but for some reason something is off :D I didn't get the flipping card design, something weird occrued
Such a cool design idea. BTW - sit there a way to make videos from UA-cam have a set starting and ending time? I can't seem to figure it out. I've been ruined from using Google Slides for so long (where it's a real quick thing to set up).
This is the best how-to on how to make a card flip - thanks! Quick question - when you flip the image 180 degrees, the text is flipped too, so now it's backwards. But what if you don't want that - you want your text to still be readable? I had to do it the dumb way, by completely re-constructing the back side of my card (a mirror image) with forward-reading text. Surely there's a better way.
I just tried to do this. You can highlight the text and under the 3d rotation category, check the 'keep text flat' box. Do this for all four cards (1st and second slide). The transition won't look as natural though. Idk if this solves your issue, but this can keep the text straight up if you need the object to be rotated 180 degrees.
I have a question, how about if you have 7 boxes on the screen and you want the person to be able to flip any card they want ti see what is behind it. How do I make that happen on a digital document? I been trying to figure this out for a couple of months now. I wanted to use Canva but see I can’t on there.
I was trying to figure this out but kept having issues w/ the text from the previous card still appearing. There might be a trick around this. But if not, you could have just no transition and start w/ a new card that flips to the next (or do the push, cover, or some other transition).
im having an issue, looks like theres a delay at some point. the transition doesnt look smooth. at some point, the card from the back seem to turn faster than the card on the front, and it looks bad.
i managed to solve it. my slide has two cards, which means I had to create 4 shapes. shape 1 and 2 for the first card. shape 3 and 4 for the second card. looking into the selection pane, the shapes were arranged in this order. shape 1 shape 3 shape 2 shape 4. once I put them in order (1->2->3->4), it was solved. :)
What PowerPoint version do you use please tell me! I don't have morph but i can make the flipping card tutorial so please help if anyone knows! Edit: Oh wait... this one also uses morph....
Make sure all cards have the 'front perspective' (Select shape -> Shape format, Shape effects, 3-d rotation, perspective -> front (the first option)). If you forget to do this on any of the cards, the transition won't do the flip correctly. If you added a separate image to the card, make sure the image has all the same effects applied as the card it is on. Hope this helps!
Aaaarrrgh - I'm trying to finish a presentation and I thought this would be an excellent approach with the card flip but my images are not saving into picture format so unable to do the next step. So disappointed :(
Here's a way to troubleshoot: make sure that the pros card on the first slide has the same name as on the second (you can check the name by selecting the card>home in the top>select>selection pane) the name should be highlighted and make sure it's the same as on the next slide. Repeat for the cons card. Hope this helps!😊
It's kinda tricky at first but try and try again, that's what i did until it worked and was able to do it on my own but i didn't really understand what the problem was cuz it didn't work at first for me too But something i realized is when u go to *format picture > 3-D Rotation* there's the *PRESETS* option just below Select it and change it to the right one *Perspective: Front* That's what works for me because i make sure to have the EXACT same settings as the person showing the tutorial on screen

Hi Luis, thanks for such a great video! Is it possible to do the 'flipping card' effect with imported photos? Thanks
That's an interesting powerpoint tuto. Thank you. Can you help me to make this transition with the TextBox, as in flippling over text? Thanks
So cool

How can I access your free PowerPoint presentations?
Fantastic!
Thanks ❤
Tried this but didn't work when I tried to place the cons slide on top of pros it doesn't move all the shapes/boxes.. tried twice but same issue
Did you group?
How about if you wanna do multiple flip cards in the same slide?
I was trying to figure this out but kept having issues w/ the text from the previous card still appearing. There might be a trick around this. But if not, you could have just no transition and start w/ a new card that flips to the next (or do the push, cover, or some other transition).

i managed to solve it.
my slide has two cards, which means I had to create 4 shapes.
shape 1 and 2 for the first card.
shape 3 and 4 for the second card.
looking into the selection pane, the shapes were arranged in this order.
shape 1
shape 3
shape 2
shape 4.
once I put them in order (1->2->3->4), it was solved. :)
What??
In presentation it's not flip why? How to solve this when I give morph it's flip when I am in home section it's not flip
When I rotate them I still see the card in the back, this doesen't make the transiction smooth
How can I do this on Canva??? 😢😢
What PowerPoint version do you use please tell me! I don't have morph but i can make the flipping card tutorial so please help if anyone knows! Edit: Oh wait... this one also uses morph....
Morph transition was introduced in 2016, yours must be a version older than that I guess. His is definitely one of the latest versions.
When you grouped the shapes you got picture format option, but I am not getting it. How to resolve?
Which version are using, are you using app Or web
In format shape, click the pentagon (effects) and you will fibd the options there
Why cant I use picture format with my shape? I didn't see you copy and paste as picture
Can we make it with animation not transition?
My powerpoint doesn't do that
Because you're using an old version of Office, meaning you use Office that's not 2019, but it's older.
When I click on send to back it doesn’t send it to back, can you help me ?
Well anybody
Click somewhere off of the main slide. Then click the card again. Then try sending to back.
Make sure everything in the card is grouped.
Only one card is moving, how do I fix that?
Doesn’t work! Only one card flips

Doesnt work
this dosent even work

It's kinda tricky at first but try and try again, that's what i did until it worked and was able to do it on my own but i didn't really understand what the problem was cuz it didn't work at first for me too
But something i realized is when u go to
*format picture > 3-D Rotation*
there's the *PRESETS* option just below
Select it and change it to the right one
*Perspective: Front*
That's what works for me because i make sure to have the EXACT same settings as the person showing the tutorial on screen
