I like how a loco that is NOT in GUSTAVTIME livery is being used. There's nothing wrong with the GUSTAVTIME livery, it's just that once a locomotive is restored, it's almost always never seen running again, which is a shame, since many of the restored locos could EASILY be used to do the work GUSTAVTIME locos normally do, and having extra locomotives would always help!
Yeah, I kinda agree with this. I love the Gustavtime livery but maybe occasionally throw in some restored engines to help recover abandoned ones, like the B40-8W or the UP SD40 or the CN/GO Transit F7s, or something.
Not only do I want to see a Union Pacific DDa40X getting restored on your channel, but I also wanted to see Union Pacific 3454 getting a second chance at life and helping a fellow Union Pacific locomotive in need.
Hi GustavTime! Great video. These abandoned locomotives you find sure do seem to be in some strange places The locomotive on the end of the bridge at a cliff, the Santa Fe abandoned on a city street in s busy metropolitan area, this one in a lake Looking forward to seeing those locomotive restoration!
@@maxproracing-j4f Of locomotives abandoned in strange places has a CN unit abandoned at the top of a mountain the weirdest of a restorer has Conrail rescuing Conrail as using recently restored 2215 to move an E33 to the shop to be restored.
Its a GE EL-C, better known as the Conrail E33. Its originally built by GE for the Virginian Railway, and ended up with Norfolk and Western, New Haven and finally Conrail, who retired them in 1981, with the shutdown of Conrail electric freight services.

That’s half the fun of it ! Also the restorer’s creed , “ it’s a little rough , but it has potential.”
Yeah the one locomotive that was abandoned on the top of a mountain was the weirdest one for me

Yay, thank Gustave for restore electric locomotive❤
I'm surprised the wheels even rolled I thought the mud and rust would have locked them up tight.
I was thinking the same. It would be much better to load it onto the flatcar instead of putting it on the tracks and tow it to the shop
