Idk man, I love Aljo, but that guy to the far right said a lot of questionable shit. Challenger has to take the belt from the challenger? You're basically saying a challenger should never be given a won from a close fight. I'm sorry. That's asinine. You win 3 rounds you win the fight. Why should the champion enter the fight with an advantage? And Volk clearly beat Max in that fight. That's the worst example to use.
has to be this or some other shady shit. Dana always says he doesnt do matchmaking on fight night but he already says colby is getting a title shot no matter what? bunch of bullshit.
Usman did the same thing to Colby. He wears his shorts real high so it makes it look like a low blow but his shorts are above his belly button. It's a nice little scam he has going.
Alja....knee's to Henry's TFL. The tensor fasciae latae (TFL), if you're not sure specifically where it is, go look it up and study where it is. Learn to locate it on yourself and then others. I'm telling you, if you can knee, kick or even just dig your elbow into this muscle, it hurts and you can shut down a persons ability to move. I use to use this in wrestling, digging into it to get people to move. Then when I use to train, kicking or kneeing someone there, even if you get it lightly you can compromise their ability to move. And I have yet to see anyone target this specifically in a fight. It's not the same as strikes to the IT band. Just have someone even take their elbow and dig it in and jerk it around over this muscle. If you actually knee it hard, it feels like hitting your funny bone really hard/pulling a muscle/bone on bone/delayed nut shot. Then something I wish we'd see more of and something I have done to people. Something that Henry will be really susceptible to beause of his build, large head and just shorter arms etc. Any chance you get, jerk, push, pull, crank on his head to cause pressure to his neck. In the clinch, on top, can do bottom to, crank that head up and drive the persons chin into their own chest....it hurts but more than that, you can completely wear out a persons arms/shoulders, just upper body. To the point that they don't understand what even happened. They just have no power, their upper body is just failing/weak. Compound that with the disruption of breathing. Which is the third thing I wish people would use more, compromising their opponents breathing by disrupting it. Even if it's cupping their mouth every chance they get. People can say they know all these things, but few actually implement them specifically in these fights. You already know he doesn't like being knee'd, is weak to it in the clinch. Especially when you can get the knee into the liver or just bring it up sharply into the stomach under the rib cage. He likes to tie up a lot and leaves himself wide up to elbows too. But this is what you do so I know you've seen all that. And if you read this, before dismissing any of it. Go try a round of doing these things on someone. Also, since he likes to keep talking about your acting....offer to let him show you how its done. Offer to knee him in his ffin' face from the ground and then he can contiue to fight you. Don't get me wrong, I like Henry too but the past is the past and we don't live in the past. Talking about all your past accomplishments is like a self soothing, coping mechanism. Like yeah I did these things, I've got it, I'm great. That's how it comes across to me. I've watched all his fights and if you go out there and fight him in a manner that you show no respect, but not really, just create a sense of clausterphobia. It will bother him. Everything I've said will take advantage of his physical attributes.
Usman is done. He had a hell of a run and I think his body is broken down from it. He could still win some fights but I don't see him getting the belt back.
Yes, but that's never been a secret. People are finally realizing you just need to put the time in for those positions. You don't get good there overnight.
Answer to the hypothetical: i think the top control should outweigh the one jab. I agree that damage is more important than control, but it doesn't strictly dominate. If we use the schoolyard criteria, I think most people would agree that the guy controlling the other guy wins the fight. Furthermore, strikers already get an inherent advantage at getting stood up at the end of the round, and I think grapplers should be rewarded for it. Aljo vs Yan is a great case example -- if there were no rounds, I think Aljo stays on Yan's back pretty much the entire fight after round 2: he wasn't getting out. The fact that we add rounds and make it a sport suggest to me that things like grappling control must score points, even if it's not as much as striking.
I gotta respect what you said. I must say that in MIXED MARTIAL ARTS, there should be a emphasis on clear damage being done. And failing clear superiority in damage, I think the SUPERIOR OVERALL PRESENTATION OF MMA SKILLS SHOULD WIN. As the rules stand right now? I called the match 3-2 Edwards but the lost point? Made the match a draw. If we add in...and I think we should...the mandate to show MIXED MARTIAL ARTS SKILLS, then Usman wins. I think the MMA SKILLS MANDATE prevents MMA from becoming kickboxing and anti grappling with MMA gloves on.
Usman looked a little slower not as sharp. First time I find myself disagreeing with you Aljo....I believe Vettori clearly on that fight...round 1 was close but round 2 and 3 Marvin clearly won. Dolidze was just swinging that hook and kept on for the most missing or hitting Marvin's guard...
I can’t believe y’all thought Roman won that fight?? How 🤣🤣🤣 Marvin is Mr. Blockhead we knew he was good he was never truly on the ropes, he controlled that fight from bell to bell man cmon
Colby has the worst record in the top 5! 3 fights in 3 years! Colby Vs Lawler The prelims the week before peek higher numbers COLBY and DANA selling Wolf tickets
This 3 man group is solid
Thanks for tuning in

I 🤍🤍🤍you Aljo good luck with your flight. I’ll be cheering for you. Sending you lots of great energy and ♥️♥️♥️🥰
UFC made a deal with Colby... drop the charges against Masvidal for the next title shot. It's win/win for the UFC
has to be this or some other shady shit. Dana always says he doesnt do matchmaking on fight night but he already says colby is getting a title shot no matter what? bunch of bullshit.
Colby desserves it more then masvidal
@@jonnhyappleseed7498 He does. If, true, Jorge is lucky the UFC saved his ass.
jorge should b in jail dog human
@Jonnhy Appleseed If Jorge beats Gilbert that's a better W than Colby's ever had and he'd deserve it more.

First time here and i wasnt disappointed great insight into fighting
Aljo, your friend merab deserves a reward. After you beat cejudo, you should vacate 135 and give merab sugar Sean as a thank you gift.
I hope merab beats bugger shane
go for double champ, whilst 135 interim happens, then vacates once merab and aljo have all the belts
Aljo will only win via acting 😂
@@Jc-zs5en what are you talking about?
Awesome pod boys! Naz is perfect on this pod. Hope he does more pods with y’all. Azeri style 💯💯

Forsure got a new sub. Great content b
nobody is thinking of scoring in a three round fight. They are either deciding to go for broke at the final round, then crossing their fingers
Great show guys keep up it up
Dariush does not complain. He just keeps fighting. That’s why everyone likes him. Aljo Usman and Leon did not complain either
Cejudo made a video about why he’s actually coming back after Aljo called him out for going broke on DC’s espn show lol
Bro i 100% agree with that guy with a beard who got a KO in his debut. Volks over the shoulder punches were bs.
I went back and watched the gsp vs hendricks fight with no commentary. And I honestly gave hendricks rounds 1,2 & 4
I hope Masvidal fights Leon Rocky Edwards next🎉
i want to see justin vs oliveria, with justin not going for broke, but being strategic.
Bro are you dumb he got out struck my oliveria and he’s a blue belt on the ground. Zero chance.
Kamaru didn't look like himself, less sharp etc, because he got blasted to the body and knees early. it took a toll.
now everyone that will face usman will use the same tactics to grab his one arm, to avoid the locking of the hands, in hopes to reduce the takedowns
Yes, but that's never been a secret. People are finally realizing you just need to put the time in for those positions. You don't get good there overnight.
Leon won, straight up. Colby is gonna get beat just like his 2 previous title shots
Also -- what about submissions attempts? Defended chokes don't really do any damage.
