They’ve been restoring lots of historical places, specially temples I dunno why the ancient palaces is an exception though, I’ve heard they’re too big to restore (Yuanmingyuan; Daming; Epang; Weiyang…) and would need lots of money that could be use to make people lives better (although they would generate lots of tourism too), it can be something about politics too (since they used to represent the dynasties) But temples and parks/gardens I guarantee u they have been restoring a lot since the last two decades

Jiayang Gao, Forget it, just hope that they won't destroy whatever is left today. Is it possible to find out if your government restore the historical structures they destroyed after 1949? Also, for the past 30 years, isn't it fabulous that the Great CCP Chinese government spent a huge amount of money replicating European building structures all over China? That got to be a peculiar sense of Chinese nationalism from the CCP.

Archeological proof had been discovered. There is a giant man made Plattform of rammed earth constructed as a basement for the central hall in the west of Xian. But it isn't really worth to visit today because most of the ruins isn't even excavated yet. There are two whole villages on the Plattform and only fields and a small memorial around it. But they are actually planning a archeological area there
It didn't. Epang Palace was never completed, and the few buildings that actually were built were burned to the ground by rebels during the fall of the Qin Dynasty.
I really do hope that the Chinese Government would restore all ancient palace or any historically inclined places for the future to come.

Were theu really like this ????? It was mainly in wood , not much remain .
E Pang Palace Complex

What is about the forbidden city in Beijing it was build in the ming dynasty (Han dynasty to)
China under the Qin Dynasty didnt extend that far west to incorporate the Rong people yet
Very beautiful! The ruins are left in xi'an or xianyang? I wish toi visit here.
In 207 BC, the palace was completely destroyed by the uprising. If you want to see the ruins of a stone building like the Acropolis, you can't see it.
