Epic Illustrated 3, ELRIC and DREADSTAR in the Same Magazine

Kayleigh provides an overview of EPIC ILLUSTRATED Issue 3 (released in the Fall of 1980). EPIC was Marvel's short-lived version of HEAVY METAL magazine and primarily focused on science fiction/fantasy stories. In this summary and review, Kayleigh focuses on the ELRIC adaptation and the METAMORPHOSIS ODYSSEY story (featuring the debut of Vanth Dreadstar). During the video, Kayleigh draws interesting comparisons to GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY films and the character Cyclops (from the X-MEN).
THE DREAMING CITY is an adaptation of a Michael Moorcock story. It's written by Roy Thomas and illustrated by P. Craig Russell.
METAMORPHOSIS ODYSSEY is written and illustrated by Jim Starlin.
