no George, you were NEVER overrated. You were, and always WILL be a genius !!
If anything, he feels underrated.
Boy George was so jealous of George Muchael quite sad seeing as bo g held a young guy prisoner.
"If 90's artists really had been masters of their own destiny, there's a possibility that Pop Idol wouldn't have ruined everything' - George Michael
He was great person overall ❤
He was indeed, a very giving & caring person.
The best male voice ever. I miss him so much. Legend 👍🏆🇬🇧 RIP George.
No that goes to Freddie Mercury (in recent times) but yes a very good voice.
@@fasthracingmatter of opinion
@colinevans39 Yes I guess it is.
Oh come on... better than Freddie Mercury? I could go on, YES, George Michael was great, but not the best male voice ever.
@@MediaBuster I agree
Oh how I miss that beautiful voice, smile and face! RIP George Michael.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Genius who created masterpieces. Always be remembered
I can feel the pain eminating from George , such a great loss both to the music business and as a charitable human being 💔
I watch George Michael videos when I’m on my treadmill as well as others, but it takes me back to the 80s and 90s which for me was some of the best years for music. Thank you for posting this video. I hope that you do more.😊
George's videos were brilliant! So much style. Stylish George ❤ You were so special! Thank you for the inspiration.
'Listen without Prejudice' is my most listened to album, GM was a musical genius! ❤
Die schönste Stimme, der schönste Mensch, die besten Songs❤
George and Freddie R I P guys and thank you for everything
Miss his light in this world
Interesting how a genius can downplay his work.. faith was a masterpiece
With all due respect due to circumstances he probably had low self esteem very sad he was a master 😊
George, you were wrong. Faith was that good. It was phenomenal.
Incredible album, one of my faves.
He was his own worst critic.
Perfectionist.
Such an amazing talent at such a a young age. Missed so much.he had so much more to give RIP❤😢
"a massive star"!! Yes!!! ♥️♥️♥️💯💯💯
Record companies are greedy and keep wanting more. George was only 18 years old when he signed his first contract. He was still a child and his lawyers at that time should of kept him in his best interest. When record companies see green (MONEY) nothing will stop them at getting more and more no matter who they hurt. They lost a legendary pop star. George is sorely missed. May he sing heaven's glory and soar with the Angels. So gifted.

Business is always dirty. Always. Now a days wven more. Untalented people make a huge Money for artists' talents. That is rude and ugly.
George Michael i love you
Awesome artist and person
I remember when another one of my friends was diagnosed with AIDS. He had moved to be back with his family and I wanted to write him a card. It took me DAYS to figure out what to write. Back in those days, AIDS was a death sentence. What do you say, get well soon? Hope you feel better soon? Sorry you're dying? AIDS was a nightmare. I lost 6 people I was really close to.
It was a dreadful time, thankfully now we have the research & medications so people can live a much better life.
Very very good.
Nice man, such a shame that super stardom often ends in tears
He bought so many folks together in terms of that Album. He also made history by being the first White Act and only White Act from Britian to go to Number One on The R & B Album Chart. He also created controversy when he won favorite R & B Male Artist at The American Music Awards beating Bobby Brown & Terrence Trent D'Arby. He along with Sheena Easton, New Kids On The Block were villified by being White Artists who did music with a strong R & B Influence and doing better than Black Artists. Even now from 1984-to the present, some of the biggest White Artists know their success is due to Black Folks from producers, songwriters, musicians, and choreographers.
New Kids On The Block were mediocre compared to George Michael. At least, George was a great singer, songwriter, and producer.
New Kids on the Block was NEVER R&B
and those folks - regardless of race - who do those things in support of the artists in question deserve the due, in the form of salaries, percentage of earnings, or what have you. Dr. Dre produced Eminem, and that enriched the bank accounts of both artists.
@Yeah, but what did George Michael owe them? He wrote and produced his music himself.
@@laminage New Kids on the block was NOT favored BY BLACKS, NEW EDITION IS. And when the industry doesn't know how to categorize a single, THEY ALWAYS PUSH IT WHERE THEY CAN COMPARE THEM TO BLACKS. Did JAMES BROWN ever get his credit when white artists like Elvis IMITATED HIM? And WHY are white people CONSTANTLY trying to one up the blacks? If white people are SO OBSESSED with trying to outdo people who they think is "beneath them" then Lowkey you have already established that whites ARE BENEATH those you think are beneath y'all 🤣
I tried the staring-at-the-performer-from-the-front-row thing at a Madonna concert. Didn't end up in a relationship. But I got to know her security guys pretty well.
😂👍
❤❤❤❤❤
zo good
Faith did for George Micheal what Thriller did for Michael Jackson. Best thing to happen to them, worst thing to happen to them.
💯
Both getting involved with the evil Sony corporation was the real problem.
Both getting involved with the evil Sony corporation was the real problem.
I think all the Wham & George catalogue is all still with Sony now. Not sure when it automatically reverts back to the artist, could be years!
His estate may have to sue.
Yup i like rock, grunge but i have George michael albums
Better than Elvis as he wrote sang and had more hits... Listen without Prejudice is a master peace... An English Legend.!!
I remember George cruising Queens crescent nw5 in his Range Rover hilarious
Ouch, never get a test at Christmas time!
where part 3
I’m hoping to get parts 3 & 4 online in January, they have been edited but have been blocked worldwide for some reason (despite editing out all the music) so I’ve disputed this, awaiting on the outcome.
thank you for your effort in posting all parts!!!@@soundmuseumau
Part 3 is online now - Part 4 next week
@@soundmuseumau 💕
I know it wasnt that good- What do you mean George by saying it wasnt that good. It was dmn good!
It’s an interesting doco, parts 3 & 4 will hopefully be on the channel in the new year, having an issue with copyright unfortunately.
He was his own worst critic. George thought his later albums were better. He thinks Older is his best album.
Xmas time has never been a good time for him and has family.
he looked like elvis a the end
❤whoah, George! He has inspired me to come out of the closet soon!
♥️♥️♥️♥️🌹🌹🌹🌹🤩🤩🤩🤩😎😎😎😎🙂🙂🙂🙂🤣🤣🤣🤣❤❤❤❤
Simon Cowell is doing exactly the same thing as Sony.
I’m not sure why he’s in this doco to be honest.
@@soundmuseumauBecause George wanted detractors as well as supporters interviewed.
Sony used his talent to make money
Sadly, record companies exploit many artists & milk them dry - don't support the artists creativity, force them to release music they don't want to (ie covers albums) - I could go on.
@@soundmuseumauYup. And the ones who speak up or won't allow these greedy companies to abuse them get labeled "Difficult to work with"
Yep - it's best these days of artists do it on there own, though its much more difficult.
He complains so much
Record companies have a storied past of being harpies. Ask the Beatles. George is extremely open and quite vulnerable in his honesty. This is great footage.
We’ll never know what it would be like in that situation, George gave a lot of money to charity, he had a kind heart.
He’s a hero for having revealed that monkey business to the world. And for having fought his fight alone and bravely. HERO. He’s a winner.
Maybe that's how you see it but he was speaking his truth.
