I’ve seen Leonhart’s new video about the process that goes into it. It’s a good process, but I don’t trust GameStop. There’s so many things. Like they have the max of $1500 to send in for a card, the idea of it getting stolen by an employee, the idea of it “accidentally” being sold etc…buying card products yeah but sending to grading sounds too good to be true
Yeah I mean, if PSA trust GameStop and you trust PSA, shouldn’t we trust GameStop? 😅 … but I agree! Why not just skip all those potential steps and just send it yourself. Literally no advantage!
GameStop does need to address these scenarios a bit better in order to improve customer confidence. I would guess/hope somebody from corporate would reach out to you and they would a) pay you the fair market value of the ungraded card you submitted and b) give you store credit or something else on top of that to make up for it. I get that the difference with GameStop vs a traditional card shop is you assume that the person working at the card shop "understands the value" of the cards. Skepticism is good.
This is awesome not terrible. $16 to grade your cards and you don't have to send 10. Also free shipping for gamepro members. This really isn't for high end collectors.

I’m gonna give it a try in a few months. I’m a GameStop pro member. Not a PSA member. I only have like 8 cards I’ve wanted to grade. Using GameStop makes the most financial sense from a price-per-card and shipping perspective. But your points are very valid about entrusting your cards with untrained employees.
Assuming all stores handle things the same, I'd think it's a good idea to submit thru a bigger company like Gamestop. You saved shipping, and does not have to worry about the minimum quantity limit. Big win for smaller collectors.
So PSA charges you $24.99 per card(unless you send in 20 cards), also a membership fee, out-of pocket shipping fee, you have to package and ship yourself and trust a random (overworked) UPS, USPS worker to handle your cards vs $15.99 per card, GameStop handles the logistics, free shipping for pro members, upcharge is from PSA, not Gamestop, and gives you 15% more value for the card IF you wish to trade in for cash or store credit?
You can’t really compare the $25 price point, that’s a whole different tier and processing time that GameStop’s not offering. Have to compare from the same level, the cheapest $45 tier.
@@DrApplesauceTwo GameStop is offering the PSA Collectors Club bulk tier for just $1 more and without the 20-card minimum, which I think is worth it for the average person who doesn't have 20 cards to send in.
GameStop not going backrupt. It's for 4.6 billion in cash .. Practically no debt.. Yes they are changing or looking at changing their core and trying different things. It might work and it might not. But stating GameStop going bankrupt is just bad reporting
Stop from going bankrupt? How TF can you go bankrupt with $4.6 Billion of cash in hand capital, no debts, no banks loans, and beating profit expectations all year long with each earnings report ?😂
You sound like a child that is having their toy taken away from this. This brings grades cards mainstream. It’s gonna lower the price of graded cards, less exclusivity, and is cheaper. You are showing your bias like CRAZY in this one. 🤣
I have never graded a card in my life but I got a dozen I’ve been thinking about. It’s just the availability of gamestop locations. I thought they were gonna make this a pro benefit but props for making it open to everyone.
"avoid bankruptcy???" You must know nothing about business. GameStop corporation has over $4.6+ billion in capital. Absolutely no debts at all. Owes no banks loans. Makes significant amount of money on interest in their capital. They have more Capital than Best buy and target combined. GameStop has a nearly zero chance of going bankrupt. Who the hell listen to a guy like this who knows nothing about business 🤭
Thats why they're hemorrhaging on game sales, and trying to transition out of video games and into transition, so they will survive, IE avoid bankruptcy
@DrApplesauceTwo They are net profit. Eps is positive. Current ratio is 6x. TTM on operations are +3 million. 4.6 billion in cash. Cash flow positive. All this can be looked up on stock analysis website. Just type in GME in their search. I can tell you never looked at their 10K or 10Q. Gamestop is making money, sorry to break it to you.
Bro you are taking this way to negative. I will be using this service for sure. As a pro member I'll get free shipping and I don't have to pay a bunch to submit 20 cards. I can't do that. I don't need the game stop employee to be a professional all they need to do is bag my cards and send them to psa that's it. They don't need to know anything about the tcg at all. That's what psa is for. You should use the system, give it a try first before you crap all over it. I think this is a really great idea. I don't like my cards sitting on my front door step for hours and hours until I get off work. This way I have the security of game stop holding my graded cards until I go get them. I'm surprised to see this kind of content from you man.
Hey, if it works for you I’m happy for you. These are just my opinions, and there’s been very reputable companies doing this for many years, so it’s not like they’re offering a new service, just offering it at a loss in order to capture the market.
This will hurt local card shops ALOT! They charge up to $30 to send your cards out for grading. This also allows them to take the profits and send their own cards out practically for free. I have a few friends who own card shops that have been doing this for years. Would I trust them or gamestop more with my cards? Well that's a topic for another day. Personally though, this is cheaper than doing it yourself. But, I dunno if I'm comfortable trusting teenage Johnny with my cards. Guess it's a wait and see kind of thing.
Buddy said the company is “money driven”. Holy shit. 🤣 it’s almost as if companies operate to… make money. How much as revenue do you produce from your ads? Or are your ads just a net positive for society? 🤣
@@DrApplesauceTwo shipping a single card to PSA without a membership ID $24.99 plus the cheapest shipping is like $10 (small flat rate box) one way so that's $20 for shipping. So in total it would cost $45 to grade 1 card. Middle man example? You can find someone you trust and it will cost around $17-$20 but you will also need to pay shipping both ways. For folks that already happen to have a gamestop membership it will be $16 with free shipping is my understanding. That is the savings I am referring to 🤷♂️
Oh no an up charged. Rather get a psa 10 not a 9. That psa does anyways. It's not an added charge by gamestop. What a misleading comment. Plus your they don't need a trained tcg person. They are just submitting the cards. Man you are making it worse bud.
You really must have a comprehension/listening problem huh? I clearly explained that it’s a charge by psa, and GameStop will pass that fee along to you.
Honestly, im interested in this. Price for just a couple cards to get graded has always been my barrier to entry. I dont have a spare $300+ dollars to spend to qualify for bulk pricing myself, so i wouldnt get that price anyway. But also, grading just a couple of cards has a lot more "other cost" involved. $5 ship to PSA $25 to grade per card $20 to get it shipped back to you The idea of a flat 15.99 + cost of one way shipping is for sure appealing to someone not interested in sending off a bulk submission on their own like me. But i do share the concerns of safety and security of the card i would be dropping off with them. All it takes is one raw moonbreon "mysteriously disappearing" to completely throw this out the window and cause issues all around
As I mentioned in this video, there have been many well established middle man companies for years. GameStops not offering anything new, just lowballing to capture the market. And there’s the concern of your card magically disappearing like you said. If that were to happen, you think GameStop’s gonna reimburse you the value? lol nope.
whats the fee when over 200$ for an example? And when you ask for money, will they pay over 1200 from their limit on buying cards? And do you need both sleeves and card savers on them
I have the feeling structure, but the paper says do not distribute so I’m not trying to get another copyrite strike by showing it lol. But the break down is like anywhere from $9 for $200-$500 value. $500-$1500 is $60 up charge and up to a $500 upcharge if it’s worth over $5k
Big win for GameStop and smaller collectors. I saved a freak ton of money on shipping because I’m a pro member. I submitted 3 151 slabs. The zard ex from 151 came back in a 10! I was very surprised. I trust GameStop now and will be submitting more slabs in the future
I love the employees and atmosphere at my local GameStop. I’ve already sent off 130 cards to get graded, very happy and pleased with the service they are now offering! I do not understand your negative sentiment towards GameStop.
Depending on the particular GameStop store, they will wait until they reach at least 20 cards to submit, while others submit weekly or a couple of times per week, because of the amount of cards they are getting in! Not all GameStop location wait to submit! As a matter of fact, we have three gameStop locations, here in Tallahassee, and the only location of the three that does PSA submissions is our Governor's Square Mall location and I hve personally spoken to the manager there and he will submit weekly, regardless if they consistently get in 20 cards or not! GameStop will NOT allow your cards sit in the back awaiting more cards for weeks on end! This guy needs to stop it with the lies and propaganda!
One thing I think you should really consider is because this is aimed at noobies to the whole grading process, this will bring people BACK into the hobby because they will go through their old cards and figure out if anything is worth grading. Honestly, I think its a win for the community and GameStop themselves.
He literally made the argument that the extra charge if the value is above $200 incentivizes them to give you a 10 so that you have to pay more. GOOD. If PSA is incentivized to grade my card at 10 just so that they can get my 20-60 extra dollars fine with me. This dude is the king of Logical Fallacies
And you’re the king of blatantly admitting you’re ok with essentially scamming the market and propping up false pop reports for “perfect 10s” as long as it makes you money 😂🤣 I’ll see myself out
I got to know my local gamestop employee very knowledgeable in pokemon have trade nights and everything. I work at gamestop and love even for the crappy pay. I think you attacking gamestop isnt cool and the workers. People are just mad cause gamestop is expanding its what you do to stay up with local game stores. I think this is good for people that just want to grade a couple cards. I think this is a small stepping stone for gamestop who knows how it will go. I used to watch your videos man but this is honestly upsetting how we bash and tear down new things. Your just assuming things are going to happen. Buying fake cards whos buying fake cards lol they are submitting not buying idk make no sense.
I sent in three baseball cards. Two of them came back ungraded because they were autographed. Ungradable. Now I need to contact GameStop and ask him if I get a refund on the two cards I didn't receive a grade on. That's $40 that I lost out on because nobody told me that PSA doesn't grade autographed cards. This is my first time grading anything.
PSA 100% grades autographed cards…. Just google it or look on eBay. Daily Im hearing more and more weird things as people get their returns from GS submissions
Why does everyone need to be a tcg expert to take your card in a card saver, upload a form, and put it in a fedex box..they need proper training on handling cards even after they are in a cardsaver, nothing else. To have knowledge when buying or selling slabs could be helpful, but not to simply take your card to submit.i just watched a video on the whole process from a customer in a store and it looked soooo simple. And if you submit just a few cards 5x a year, you are saving a LOT of money on insurance( which is fully covered by gamestop) and shipping.. Just 1 order doing that yourself you'll spend $25..
Free shipping for pro members.! Seems pretty big to me. Pro members also get $5 coupons every month one online and one in store coupon. That’s $120 a year minuet the $25 pro membership fee. Thats $95 for free! Win win baby
Considering that I'm new to TCG collecting, I only have a few cards I am thinking of getting graded. I'd rather not go through with getting a PSA membership (I also have a Gamestop Pro membership, only to get what is pretty much a free pack of pokemon each month), and have a bunch of Gamestops in my city, this is looking like something I'd consider for getting cards graded. I simply don't have the amount of cards to make a PSA subscription worth it, and if I could get store credit to put towards packs and pulling cards I actually want (like the ones from the upcoming Surging Sparks set), instead of keeping ungraded cards I'm not particularly fond of, I don't have a problem with Gamestop offering this service.
Ok ive seen almost 100 cards revealed from gamestop subs and have only seen one 10 is it theyre grading their subs harder or is it norms submitting wrong cards
I think this hurts the most are big time collectors. This helps the smaller collector just getting into the collection hobby of getting graded cards at Gamestops' price range. The one thing that is a massive if would be if the employee knew what the value and swapped the card. However what is bad for big collector is now your have alot more PSA graded cards coming to the market that could decrease value of what is currently the market.
If I want to grade 1-2 cards I think this is fine especially on my cheaper cards. Also I’m 100% sure they getting cheaper bulk rates. I wouldn’t be surprised if they are getting a $10 per card deal
I'm a licensed PSA Dearler, I had a few people ask me if I'd loose business because of it. I don't know anyone who would trust random gamestops with cards. I do charge $18 a card but I also have a 20k umbrella insurance policy for every customer. I hope they don't mess people's cards up, my level of documentation and hours spent... I just can't see gamestop doing it.
Just recently sent two through them to see how it goes. Took pictures of the cards just in case my cards are damaged or don't look like the ones I sent.. low risk to see how it goes, overall pretty easy process (maybe because it was a manager?), BUT!!! In all honesty, I would highly advise sending it in on your own or a spot you trust; it would be very easy for someone to take a $500+ card. If everything works out, I'll be using this as a way to grade cards on the lower risk side , especially with how easy it was to send. One thing I do feel is that there will be some horror stories to come from this with higher-end cards, but if you're ok with taking a low-end risk, I would say it's a good option.
Nope, pay attention. There are already many companies, WHO KNOW WHAT THEYRE DOING, who have been doing this well. GameStop is throwing their corporate big wig weight around and doing this at almost a net loss, to try and buy the market. I’ll never support that. People cry and scream when flippers do the exact same thing trying to buy up all of a specific product, but support a giant corporation when they try to do the same thing.
@@DrApplesauceTwo I am not taking sides but right from the start you're whole video just seemed all negative. You do not need to like GameStop and that is okay but that doesn't mean that you need spread that hate and dislike to a community that looks up to you and likes your content. GameStop is a business, being a business means adapting and trying to do what you have to do. That is normal, Yes GameStop wasn't always the best the best but they aren't hurting or scamming anyone with this PSA summiting thing. Yes they can buy your card but when they sell it they also sell it for market price unlike third party sellers or people on social media selling a 100 dollar card for like 140 like I just saw earlier today. I do not think you are a bad person or anything and I am sure you had some good intentions but this just ain't it this is basically just a hate video and that kinda sucks :(
GameStop will open your package and just hand you a stack of slabs and they won’t even be in sleeves just raw slabs. I’m pretty sure they come in sleeves so they must open them up on you and PSA is a scam. Will steal your nice card and send you back one that’s damaged in the grading system is garbage there’s no standard. It’s just Graded on the opinion of the grader at the time. 100% scam
I won't be sending a Moonbreon, that's for sure. Anything worth 500+ would be too risky. Just like how GameStop won't accept cards above that price either. Too much risk. But this is definitely good for convenience on smaller collectors. You need 20+ cards, which base price is over 500+. It's just too much money for smaller people. But one card for 20$? Even I got a few common cards that are very sentimental to me that I would like to display and GameStop takes away all the barriers I might have been hesitating to grade due to price or card amount.
Wack that if I submit a $500 Charizard card and they lose it the max the will pay per the guarantee is $200. They only let you declare $500 on non TCG cards.
Im sure gamestop has an agreement with PSA for a rate better than bulk. The reason for trading card GAMES prices being lower I think is to stay in their lane. Their walls don’t have much sports packs but full of tcg packs.
But you didn’t address the fact that if you’re not a collectors club member it’s $25 per card. Then $40 for shipping there and back. So $65 for one card. Whereas even if you’re not a pro member at GameStop it’s $21 for one card. And it’s $5 flat shipping. So you could submit 4 cards for $69 (nice) at GameStop or 1 for $65 by yourself. Again I’m speaking for those people that don’t have memberships to either.
Yes, that’s the point of middle men at card shops that have been around forever and actually know what they’re doing, so you can just submit one or two cards. I referenced that several times in my video, and why I don’t support GameStop doing this cuase it’s just ( essentially ) trying take business from small shops who’ve been doing a great job at this, and put into a huge corporate company.
I think it is such an easy entry point. I've been in tcgs since the 90s as a player and judge but submissions are very intimidating. Here I can just drop it off to gamestop and get the process going. Doesn't even look like I have to do the forms. Though one thing I wonder was it just the tcgs listed or do they take any tcg.
Respect your opinion but feel like you might be forgetting the fact that children like tcg as well. I imagine GS is appealing more towards the small collectors or kids who don’t know much about grading process🤷🏻♂️
The point of using a middleman to submit your trading cards, is to use a knowledgeable middleman who can help you to submit the right cards. GameStop employees who have 25 other things they responsible for besides trading cards, are likely to be the furthest thing from knowledgeable expert Grading, submitters, like people at other game stores would be.
Idk y ppl are crying about this, hey if u wanna pay a arm n a leg for shipping n this n that well go for it money bags... I'll pay $16 (total) for a $700 sunzard from gamestop... 😈....but hey thats me..
i think its wise to be skeptical ,but to say its bad no matter what seems kind of insane. if they arent stealing losing or damaging peoples cards it's an incredible deal! especially for people with cards valued under 200 that want to get into grading without paying a membership fee that costs more than any of their cards are worth. just major hater vibes coming off this video
Dude this guy doesn’t understand why would I spend 50+ dollers for some membership then pay for 20 cards to get sent off if I have a 500+ card would i send it off in my own yes but everything else dude GameStop is good 16 a card for low lvl collectors this is great for everyone
Gamestop doesn't have to have any knowledge. They just need to know how to pack the cards. i know it was on the screen but you didn't mention you can grade with psa no minimum for $24.99 no membership. The cost of insured shipping through psa. Gamestop is cheap at $15.99 with no fees. Middle men charge fees are that's out
Hey man love your message in the beginning of your videos but a few things to consider 1) there are scummy lgs out there who do pretty shady stuff 2) the net positive of buying graded is one play but I think the bigger play is more pro members that subscription can be restructured down the line and be extremely profitable 3) it’s likely GameStop has an even better rate then us consumers 4) I’d almost rather them not know about my tcg they aren’t pregrading so that point doesn’t really matter they are following a process … time will tell but this take does seem a bit biased
Game stop is actually trying to scam kids now any adult knows about how this works. They are hoping kids will summit there cards then up charge them and if they can’t afford it they cry and get a free psa 10
@DrApplesauceTwo Crazy because its standard non expidited. 16 dollars is a good, fair deal. Most casual collecters just want a safe space they can drop a couple cards off without the hastle of sending in cards or getting flammed/ripped off by their LCS. I say that as someone who has sumbitted cards before.
This whole video seems biased. As others pointed out, what Gamestop is doing is actually a W. Most people aren't submitting hundreds of cards per year to get graded, therefore the PSA direct member submission you keep pushing just doesn't make sense to do.
Are they offering insurance to cover theft or shipping issues? The deal isn’t bad for those that don’t submit many cards. I would not trust them with even a $100 raw card though.
L take buddy. The GameStop program is for the “everyday people” not for people already having a subscription and going to every other convention and flipping it I think you’re trying to agree with the controversial way just to get some engagement on this video to pull traction. It’s ok buddy, we know what you’re doing
Just giving my honest opinion. Zero chance I would trust GameStop employees to handle grading submissions, nor do I support things like this that are attempts at corporate business to take market share away from family owned business ( shops that have been middle manning grading professionally for years ) I’m willing to hedge my bets and wait it out for the likely massive flood of horror stories when people start to get their grades back. Or don’t get them back. Or they get lost. Or they come back with different cards than the ones that they sent in. I could end up being wrong, I’ll admit it, but I don’t think I am.
My God! You literally explained PSA's poor business practice of upcharging you for cards in detail, even saying "They have an incentive for giving you good or higher grades." Then, you immediately inferred that this is GameStop's "shady Business" practice a few seconds later acting as if that was a con of submitting with GameStop???? Really, bro?! Are you that hard up for content, clout and engagement? PSA was charging upcharges before they collaborated with GameStop and will do so long after GameStop is no longer around!
You are correct, I did say that PSA has an incentive to give higher grades, but the GameStop partnership is a new service and people submitting with them MAY NOT BE AWARE of the upcharges.
@@DrApplesauceTwo There are literally several video of gameStop employees being very astute about the entire process, including Keith, who became a social media superstar for his knowledgeable information and more. Look, not many people can pay $149/$199 for an annual members, not many people can obtain twenty cards to submit at one time, not many people can navigate PSA's website, and their strict new requirements, not many people can afford a massive upcharge and as i stated in another post, conenience and price means a lot to people and if they can save money on the submission fee, the annual fee, even the $19.99 shipping fee, not including sending it to PSA personally, so GameStop works for them. The point I am making is "you" have never tried their process and yet, you are defaming employees, inferring because they are low-paid, that they are inept, and will steal your cards? Don't get me wrong, I went to GameStop back in the late 90's when a kid had just purchased a video game five days earlier, but because the kid had beaten the game already, he wanted to trade in a game he had bought brand new, just five days earlier for $59.99 and they literally offered him $5.00. Yes, $5.00! I The kid was going to accept it, until i stopped him and spoke to his mother, who was waiting in the car. She had no idea GameStop was doing this to kids. I literally went 12 years without ever stepping into a GameStop after that, so I am not a GameStop fan, so i am not here to protect GameStop. BTW, I spoke to a manager at another GameStop and told him what happened, he stated, "There was no way the system would offer such a low-price for a game that was released five days earlier. It had to be a case of theft, meaning the employee was offering kid's ridiculous offers, paying them out of the register, then properly completing the cash offer and pocketing the money, minus the $5.00."
@@DrApplesauceTwo Plus, you stated, "GameStop needs to be transparent with their grading process." You would have to be a simpleton to not know PSA's process, its upcharges, its annual fees, its 20 card minimum bulk pricing rate and more. Most people, who submit cards to PSA, SGC, BGS and CGC are already aware of the process. Hell, even submitters like "GotBaseballCards" have a service of evaluating your cards for grading, telling you which cards will Gem and which ones won't. He stated that people still want their cards graded, because most are already aware of what you claim GameStop should be transparent about. There are more videos about GameStop, other than your video and if you'd watch them it would literally explain and address some of your concerns! Look, try them out, first, prior to giving a negative review. That's all i am saying. Because their option is so new and that added to PSA 45 day to 2.5 turnaround, there are not more than a couple of GameStop PSA Submission Reveal videos and the two there are, had nothing but praise for gameStop's process.

This is a rare game stop W. Not having to pay a $150 yearly sub is a win for so many people. Also not having to submit a minimum of 20 cards is great.
@@DrApplesauceTwo$25 is lowest grading for anybody without a psa membership btw.
@@Sandola.Why not support your LGS if they offer effectively the same service?

GameStop not going backrupt. It's for 4.6 billion in cash ..
Practically no debt..
Yes they are changing or looking at changing their core and trying different things.
It might work and it might not.
But stating GameStop going bankrupt is just bad reporting
I said to STOP from going bankrupt. Cuase their sales and numbers aren’t great
Stop from going bankrupt? How TF can you go bankrupt with $4.6 Billion of cash in hand capital, no debts, no banks loans, and beating profit expectations all year long with each earnings report ?😂
Everything about this sounds like a HUGE win
You sound like a child that is having their toy taken away from this. This brings grades cards mainstream. It’s gonna lower the price of graded cards, less exclusivity, and is cheaper. You are showing your bias like CRAZY in this one. 🤣
I have never graded a card in my life but I got a dozen I’ve been thinking about. It’s just the availability of gamestop locations. I thought they were gonna make this a pro benefit but props for making it open to everyone.
This is a great deal and offering. Annoying how people want to shit on anything GameStop does just because it's GameStop.
So shady they made my card a psa 10 lol wth
Ive wanted to send like 10 cards in for a while but this will finally let me do it in an easier way. Can't wait
"avoid bankruptcy???"
You must know nothing about business.
@DrApplesauceTwo
They are net profit.
So my card went from $150 to $350 and I’m mad? 😅 I always heard people complaining abt them downgrading so people chase the 10’s with more orders
this gives kids a chance to submit some cards. it will flood the market with more cards. it can be good, it can be bad.
Looks good to me
Bro you are taking this way to negative.
@@DrApplesauceTwo what companies do you recommend?
The savings involved is potentially well worth the risk imo for cards under $200.
What savings? There are no savings lol
@DrApplesauceTwo like a fee if you are submitting your self or a 3rd party you are being charged. You stated that gamestop is charging more.
This is an awesome service!
Nice video but quick fact check: GameStop is not bankrupt nor close to it. $4,800,000,000 cash on hand.
Quick fact check. GameStop’s revenue is cratering and the business itself loses money from operations. Their cash came from selling shares.
$5 ship to PSA
$25 to grade per card
$20 to get it shipped back to you
The idea of a flat 15.99 + cost of one way shipping is for sure appealing to someone not interested in sending off a bulk submission on their own like me.
Congrats on the 10!
That’s worth more than the limit, did you pay extra fees?
@ to my surprise, I actually didn’t have to pay any fees at all. Also, love the content bro!
Nice
I love the employees and atmosphere at my local GameStop. I’ve already sent off 130 cards to get graded, very happy and pleased with the service they are now offering! I do not understand your negative sentiment towards GameStop.
Have u encountered a upcharge when getting one card back?
I say don’t shit on it just yet give it a month and see how it is then you can shit on it all you like
He literally made the argument that the extra charge if the value is above $200 incentivizes them to give you a 10 so that you have to pay more.
GOOD. If PSA is incentivized to grade my card at 10 just so that they can get my 20-60 extra dollars fine with me.
This dude is the king of Logical Fallacies
And you’re the king of blatantly admitting you’re ok with essentially scamming the market and propping up false pop reports for “perfect 10s” as long as it makes you money 😂🤣
I’ll see myself out
Couldn’t disagree more man, super solid service
Glad you’ve had a good experience with them!
I’m gonna bring in a regular full art card and grade it and see how my card comes back
Why does everyone need to be a tcg expert to take your card in a card saver, upload a form, and put it in a fedex box..they need proper training on handling cards even after they are in a cardsaver, nothing else.
Oh wow i was looking into getting my cards graded and im already a gamestop pro member so this might just be a win for me.
No idea.
This is my biggest concern too. People getting caught up in the “oh it’s so cheap and convenient” and not seeing the potential liability issues
Good luck, let me know how it goes!
So Gamestop is being smart and trying to adapt... You take that as a negative and are just bashing it the whole time. Horrible content...
Oh he is MAD mad hahaha. Getting called out on his bias.
Yeah hell to the No. Better off buying your 1 Year membership. Send the submission yourself. “Peace of mind”
Wack that if I submit a $500 Charizard card and they lose it the max the will pay per the guarantee is $200. They only let you declare $500 on non TCG cards.
Yep.
think its a awesome idea makes it easier for kids and new people to use psa
more people buy physical games now, so they will put physical cards in front of the door to get customers...........im buying it😎
Im sure gamestop has an agreement with PSA for a rate better than bulk. The reason for trading card GAMES prices being lower I think is to stay in their lane. Their walls don’t have much sports packs but full of tcg packs.
I wish PSA just opened local stores where they grade, and you could just drop off your cards directly to them.
Thst would be way to expensive
Sounds good , but just imagine how many people would bribe the employees and slide a $100 for a better grade lol
I agree it does seem shady. Hope you and the family are doing well. God bless you my friend.
I would do it with low value cards just to try it out and see how it goes
Idk y ppl are crying about this, hey if u wanna pay a arm n a leg for shipping n this n that well go for it money bags... I'll pay $16 (total) for a $700 sunzard from gamestop... 😈....but hey thats me..
Well, first, you won’t.
The limit is $200 value, so you’ll pay an up charge, if they’ll even accept a card that valuable.
@@DrApplesauceTwo bro they already did, 😆, I don't get enough ppl to notice or believe me anyway...so it doesn't matter 😆, but no no, ur rite..
i think its wise to be skeptical ,but to say its bad no matter what seems kind of insane. if they arent stealing losing or damaging peoples cards it's an incredible deal! especially for people with cards valued under 200 that want to get into grading without paying a membership fee that costs more than any of their cards are worth. just major hater vibes coming off this video
Dude this guy doesn’t understand why would I spend 50+ dollers for some membership then pay for 20 cards to get sent off if I have a 500+ card would i send it off in my own yes but everything else dude GameStop is good 16 a card for low lvl collectors this is great for everyone
They just made things easier for new collectors.
I’ve seen on Facebook people get their cards graded back from GameStop/PSA and they were graded 10 GM I think you’re over reacting 😅 a little
Gamestop doesn't have to have any knowledge.
Oh 100% right on all accounts
Game stop is actually trying to scam kids now any adult knows about how this works. They are hoping kids will summit there cards then up charge them and if they can’t afford it they cry and get a free psa 10
Idk cool with me, local card shop charges 40 dollars per card
Likely for a faster service at that price
@DrApplesauceTwo Crazy because its standard non expidited. 16 dollars is a good, fair deal. Most casual collecters just want a safe space they can drop a couple cards off without the hastle of sending in cards or getting flammed/ripped off by their LCS. I say that as someone who has sumbitted cards before.
This whole video seems biased. As others pointed out, what Gamestop is doing is actually a W. Most people aren't submitting hundreds of cards per year to get graded, therefore the PSA direct member submission you keep pushing just doesn't make sense to do.
Of course it’s biased, like every opinion is lol.
Are they offering insurance to cover theft or shipping issues? The deal isn’t bad for those that don’t submit many cards. I would not trust them with even a $100 raw card though.
That’s actually a great question.
They do, it is in their terms and conditions, just google psa gamestop grading terms and conditions
I just worry they swap my card with a 8 or 9 if i got a 10. Since no way to id it besides taking good photos
I’m fine with raw cards probably in minority
L take buddy. The GameStop program is for the “everyday people” not for people already having a subscription and going to every other convention and flipping it
I think you’re trying to agree with the controversial way just to get some engagement on this video to pull traction. It’s ok buddy, we know what you’re doing
Just giving my honest opinion. Zero chance I would trust GameStop employees to handle grading submissions, nor do I support things like this that are attempts at corporate business to take market share away from family owned business ( shops that have been middle manning grading professionally for years )
I’m willing to hedge my bets and wait it out for the likely massive flood of horror stories when people start to get their grades back. Or don’t get them back. Or they get lost. Or they come back with different cards than the ones that they sent in. I could end up being wrong, I’ll admit it, but I don’t think I am.
Why anyone would even want to submit to psa in the first place is beyond me
CGC is where it's at!! 💪
best thing you dont have to payt to insure your cards. I hope
If your not paying for insurance I doubt there will be insurance
I used the service. it's easy
Oh I’m sure it’s easy.
@@DrApplesauceTwo Plus, you stated, "GameStop needs to be transparent with their grading process."
You would have to be a simpleton to not know PSA's process, its upcharges, its annual fees, its 20 card minimum bulk pricing rate and more.
The shirt you’re wearing is sickkkkk!!!
U dont even have the facts dude should go watch leonhart do his cause they have no cares abt fakes nor are they getting fired psa is ones telling u they are fake or too damaged or over declared value stuff all comes from psa while i agree its easier to do urself but free shipping nice from pros and no limits oramljnt of cards and more i listen to u the more u have no idea wat ur talking about lol fees come from psa not gamestop
I mean, Lee was paid to make that video, and awesome for him, but obviously it’s going to be all positive and not raise any questions
I don’t trust GameStop to send my cards. How do I know one of their employees just won’t bend my cards? I don’t know, sus. Is there insurance if they lose your cards?
Never would i ever trust my Pokémon with a GameStop employee in Florida
Submitted 17 cards at my local GameStop, very smooth and professional process . The employees were excited to take a look at my cards and we had great conversations and a lot of fun. 🤩
That’s awesome to hear! Glad you had a good experience.
Lmao the last thing I’d ever do is give the let the gamestop employee handle my cards. Grease and shmuck will be all over them
They don't touch them until their inside card protectors, with penny sleeve inside that.
I agree...gamestop workers are like the baggage handlers in the airport.
