This trail is quite sensitive to wet conditions. To respect the trail builders and to keep the trail running well, it's best to skip it when things are wet.

Thanks for the video! I just tried this trail first time a couple of weeks ago and am right there with you. I saw my life flash in front of my eyes a few times. I would love to return some day and work on my progression there. Great trail, amazing build!

Thanks! I love CBC--feels like an MTB playground. I've ridden it twice more since filming this clip and gained confidence each ride. I still can't do that skinny into the log ride though! ....not sure I'll ever figure that one out.

Really like what you are doing with your channel. I subscribe to all three of the amigos and love their content, but keeping it real, my abilities are more in line with what you are doing here. I rode CBC this past holiday Monday and pretty much rode it as you did… in other words, was challenged by the jank, walked a few of the trickier sections, skipped the double black options, yet managed to ride the vast majority of it and had a blast doing so. Looking forward to getting back and doing it again. With time and some repetition, it’s a trail I think I have a decent shot at cleaning maybe by year end. But the mud pits are real. After that particularly muddy section about 1/3 of the way down, much of the rock armour the next few hundred meters was coated with muddy grease from all the tires riding over it which caused me to slide and freaked me out a bit. Looking forward to the trail truly drying out so that won’t be an issue.

Thanks. And ya, it is such an amazing trail. A challenge for a hack like me for sure, but not unthinkable. Ted from Dream Wizards sent me a couple pictures of the work they've done on it this week to improve it after the initial wet break in period. Once it's drier in the summer, I think it's going to be an absolute gem.

@@IDoBlues agreed. Re the mud pits, the one I was particularly referring to is at 5:24 of your vid. I don’t have a clue how to build or maintain a trail, but it seems to me that a ladder bridge would be a good idea through that section.

@@nicks2716 That sure would do the trick! I wouldn't be surprises if they armour up that section with rocks.

Also, 7th is on my hit list next time at Fromme.

Another real challenge for someone at my level. Some people love it; some hate it. I think when I'm feeling "on" I like it, but on "off days", I start swearing at Mother Nature and think about giving golf a try.

@@IDoBlues yeah, I get that sense. Watching Dale Stone’s video, he of course makes it look ridiculously easy. But having experience now adjusting my vision to the go-pro effect and applying a reverse handicap to how Dale makes a trail look vs my 51-year old reality, I know it will be a real challenge for me too. Nonetheless, keen to try!

Thanks for sharing. Trail looks amazing but probably stretching it for my skill level too. Any thoughts on how this one compares to 7th?

If you can do 7th, you can do the CBC re-boot (in my opinion). I went over the bars on both.....so I'm calling them even! I really enjoyed CBC. I'll be back for more. All the really hard features have good ride-arounds, and the general janky sections are easily walkable if needed.

haha I hear you, I struggle on 7th but I'm determined to get better on it this year

@@danielam6640 Oh man, if you are working on 7th, totally go give CBC a try on a dry day.
