Very solid amp. There has been a few different rebrands, No-name, knock-offs of the SKAR Rp series, they're all cookie cutter amps coming from the same build house, however the Rebranded ones are performing exceptionally better than the SKAR RP's. I'm not sure why it is that's happening without actually comparing them side-by-side, unless the Rebrands are using Korean made parts, and the SKAR RP's using Chinese parts on a Korean Board and Circuit.
One advantage of you doing the same amplifier as BigD is comparing the AMM-1 to the amp dyno. But as you said about how meters can read different ( if not calibrated) also amplifiers can also test different.
Great lil amp . Reminds me of my Audiozer0ne ZE1000.1 that I was using on a single 15 Skar EVL before upgrading to. Taramps Md5000.1 and 15” DS18 Hooligan X. The boards look identical . And I’m newly in GA by way of VA.

The 90.4 is out of stock on amazon but Walmart has them. i bought 2 of them and have had them for about 8 months now and they work great for door speakers.
I’m watching from Lakeland GA. Just a few hours away traveling by car, but about 7 days away traveling by the USPS apparently. Still waiting on that amp to arrive. 😂😂😂
@@stereomojo Myrtle has gone down hill. if you want just the beach experience Charleston has 3, Sullivans Island, Folly Beach and Isle of Palms. if you want the "tourist" experience Myrtle is better, just do some research on the area you stay cause its getting rough nowadays.
@@delamarhamilton7225 I've noticed that a lot of sellers on Ebay price gouge a LOT of stereo equipment compared to Amazon. I only use ebay now for things that I can't find on Amazon due to the rise in price gouging.
I agree but I will also disagree, For the price you won't get a clip light on most any amplifier. You can however buy a $50 Oscilloscope and tune the amp Up to or right before clipping.
@jimmybarrett-sw8vt some of these companies trying to knock SKAR off the buyers list, cutting into their profits. Skar does have budget friendly options, but however that company hasn't had a single newly released item, revamp, whatever, in several years, most companies fall off if they don't make a change.
I have a question if u put a volt meter on the battery under your hood and your voltage doesn’t drop on main battery is your amplifier not hitting the front battery and if not is the back battery enough because it’s not hitting the front one? Just a question I was wondering if
@@stereomojo I don’t have one on the back I have to test that and let you know but the front stays on 14.8 and doesn’t drop anything I would think it would drop a little if I didn’t have enough but not sure.
@@iang7523 yes, from my experience you’re thoughts about it are correct. I’ve done something similar on my test bench with an extra 270ah of batteries that I don’t normally use. My permanent banks of lithium on the bench is a higher C rate, so it pulls from those without drawing from the extras. It’s something that caught me off guard. The other issue is that your battery in the back might be a higher C rate. Are they exactly the same, or different brands or chemistries?
The sundowns are in a sealed box, so not as much excursion on low/moderate power. I’d love for a company to send me a couple of 12s. It would be some good exposure for sure. I show them almost every week.

Yes, it sounds like you have enough battery. What does the voltage drop to on the battery in the back?

But every time I start my car my rpm goes to 2000 unless my front battery needs to be changed
