Do you have an Aisin transmission? What gear ratio is on the rear axle? What is your max tow capacity? What are your miles vs maintenance costs for tires and oil changes?
I am really interested in the idea of part-time hauling for some extra income. I have a 2015 Ram 3500 dually. Would it be worth investing in to the rest (trailer, insurance, license, etc) for just weekend hauling? Thanks
NO, It would not be worth it! It costs about 40k per year on insurance (Depending on your location), then you have to invest in the equipment, you have to maintain a medical, and equipment inspections. Just driving on weekends for fun, you would never be able to really make ends meet.
