Irelias theory isnt hard but in practice it is very hard to pull it off perfectly. Best way to improve is just to play and slowly after 100+ games you will feel like one with irelia

Wow I came back to LoL after 3 years and this is the first time I'm hearing about Irelia's E rework. I always did E1 far and E2 close becuase it was much faster. Guess I have to change my muscle memory now.
It actually helped me grind from bronze and gold even got 2 penta on my way there 😅

@@IreliaVideos You made a huge mistake in the video. Or Irelking did. 3:04 Irelia can only ever use 2 Qs in a row. Never 3. She doesnt "store" Q stacks.
E1 - R - E2 - Q - Q - Q is impossible.
The correct combo to get 3 Qs is: E1 - R - Q - E2 - Q - Q. Even if it might "look like" a triple Q, the order you press the keys would still be E1 - R - Q - E2 - Q - Q. So youre confusing the people to think the key press order is actually Q - Q - Q, which it isnt. Yes you can Q before E2 lands but the key order is the priority when learning a combo.
@@MelbourneMaster If you do it quick enough it is possible. He did it in the video. Since the E animation isn't instant and takes a moment, Q hits first (resetting itself through R) and right after that, E stuns/hits, giving another Q reset.

Idk why i thought that the passive on enemies couldnt accumulate more than twice. I was doing E1, R, Q, auto, E2, then Q again. Or R, Q, E1, E2, (cause i know they nerfed midway Q when casting E) and then just double Q. Thanks for this lol
Wait did u try this? I main irelia and i purposely never try to double mark so i could q 3x. The guy in the vid has auto cd reset so he could q 100x in a row if he wanted to without even marking
@@moreno522 Its a mistake. You cant store Q's on Irelia. I just checked again to make sure, and you cant. Quite a huge mistake on this video.

I watched this video for Season 12, where I was bouncing between P1 - D5, and have played nothing but Irelia the entire season. I blew right past Plat this time around, and I'm currently in D1, getting real close to Master! I was doing so much incorrectly, and was missing almost 30% of my big damage combo. Not anymore!

Go in late as fuck in the teamfight. Flash on the enemy carry. Or try to flank. Also if you don't wanna teamfight you don't have to- just split push with your lead from laning.

The best play in every given situation will always boil down to the game state at hand, but generally speaking you'll want to try and press the advantages you see. If you're a better duelist than your lane opponent, abuse that and split-push - then catch the enemies out of position as they rotate. Irelia generally excels at smaller engagements (2v2s, 3v3s) where she can abuse her mobility and high dps to the fullest, so you'll want to try and draw the enemy team out and force engagements where you're strongest.
If a 5v5 is unavoidable, the general rule of thumb is to play like you would play an assassin: Be patient, try to find a flank and jump the enemy backline *after* the fight has broken out. Irelia is usually squishy in 5v5's, so you'll want to avoid front-line tanking whenever possible. Be mindful of the enemy team's crowd control and murder their carries before cleaning up the rest.
Shouldnt it be E1-R-Q-E2-Q... Since E1-R-E2-Q wastes the mark from the R

Its a mistake in the video. It claims you can E1 - R - E2 - Q - Q - Q, but thats impossible. Irelia cant store Q's. You can only use 2 Q's in a row.

@@MelbourneMaster the Q is fired before the E sequence completes so it is as stated with E1 - R - E2 - Q - (E's finish connecting) - Q - Q. so essentially E2 - Q - Q - Q. slow down at 3:22 and you'll see the CDs

No he does itright test it in practice tool. When you e r e q if your quick enough while the e animation isn’t complete you q with the ultimate mark then once again after e animation finish giving you another mark . which gives a total of 3 q.It’s just a quicker method but if you mess up you can’t get the mark. This work because e animation isn’t instant.
3:08 is wrong, you cant use q 3 times if you do it that way. The correct one is: E1+R+Q+E2+Q+Q. Either him or you had a typo
It works if you're close enough. Q will connect before E2 does.
you see me doing it in the clip, i dont have unlimited abilitys enabled. if you R first then E2 into Q your q lands before your E lands which means you dont waste R stack and which then means you can q three times
You send the 2nd e, but Q before it actually connects, proccing the first mark right as the second mark applies.
it's basically the same as q-e-r-e diana combo, just in reverse
