    Which step would you use retinol if you added it into this routine?

    Thank you for posting this! I’m grateful I found someone with an actual knowledge on the subject 🙏🏻besides those beauty gurus that all repeat the same things and promote the same products 😂I’m tired to hear “makeup wipes” and “fragrance”

    thank you so much!! Would you be able to review her entire Rhode kit (Glazing Milk, Peptide Glazing Fluid, Barrier Restore Cream, Peptide Lip Treatment in Unscented)? Also, I've always used Dapsone Gel prescribed by my dermatologist years ago... do you think it would be okay to use with/before these other products in her kit?

      Which I guess you've already reviewed the last three products, so I guess I'm asking more about the glazing milk. Also, she is dropping this Pineapple Refresh face wash that she's posted a bunch about and has info on her site about it too.

      and again with the Dapsone -- should I still use, or completely stop? I currently just use CeraVe face wash, then Dapsone, then CeraVe moisturizer

    Hello! I’ve just been meaning to ask- Is the ordinary squalene cleanser Hailey is using oil or water based? Because in the video you say water but on the internet it says oil…? I’m just asking because I’ve purchased it and want to use it as a second cleanser but I’m not sure if I can if it’s oil based- anyway, thank you

      Hello! Good question - this is a balm that transforms into an oil when applied in your hands. You can use it as the 1st step of your cleanse!

    I also love that oil cleanser. It smells amazing. Like pineapples. Breathing it in after a long day is so relaxing.

    I appreciated seeing this reaction video! I love Hailey's skin and learned a lot from your comments. Thank you!
    I just learned from you that fruit enzymes are exfoliating. I had no idea! I've been using a cleanser with papaya and pineapple enzymes that I've really been enjoying.
    I wanted to ask, is a retinol recommended for nightly use? From your comments I gathered that this may be a must. I have been using a retinol serum every other night. I started after reading up on a celebrity esthetician's recommended protocol: Once a week for a week, twice a week for two weeks, three times a week for three weeks, and now every other day. I have found this to be a great approach for my sensitive skin, but wouldn't mind transitioning to every night, if recommended.

      Thank you for your kind comment! Yes, I do recommend using a retinol as often as your skin can tolerate it. If you have sensitive skin, you may only tolerate it 3-5 times per week instead of every night, and that's ok too!

    Can retinol be used with rhode face products?

    • @TeawithMD
      @TeawithMD  2 роки тому

      Yes, retinol can be used after cleansing, before moisturizing

    Wait, how is vaseline moisturising when it doesn't have any oils or Shea butter in it? Coz every time I use it, it dries my lips out

      It is an occlusive, so it basically helps to trap whatever is under it. It prevents water from leaving your skin, and helps to trap hydration inside your skin.
