No. Everyone with eyes knows its not firing. These idiots dont even know what a torwue wrench is for. They were torquing accessory fasteners. But didnt torque the cam journals. Or crank caps.
They also didnt put oil on anything.
I wouldn't look to them for any knowledge they do this only for money from youtube.

If the jets are clogged and they didn't clean and adjust the carbs, it will be misfiring. But there are also other 'issues', like valve clearance check that wasn't shown in the video. I see new pistons, new rings, but were the cylinders reglazed ? Or the valve seats re-cut and polished ?

Might wanna upgrade the regulator on this model of bike, mine blew not long ago just from added heated grips and led lights. Not sure what to upgrade too, or even if I can just use any old regulator like one from an r6 or something that can handle more electronics, but definitely put some thermal compound on it once you install it so it transfers heat to the frame better.

They didn't show the state of the bore, the crank journals, the valve seats, I can't even tell if they stuck new big end bearings in. I'd like to know why what was wrong with it to begin with to understand what they did to 'fix' it.
My guess is probably ruined bores from overheating after seeing the broken water pump in which case new rings and a black paintjob aren't going to solve your issues.

@kennethconnors53 - didn’t you know, there’s a whole army of people out there dumping and trashing motorcycles just so restorers like these can “find” them on their travels (normally followed by another chap with a camera just in case of such a “find” - how lucky is that?). Furthermore, none of these bikes have registered owners so ownership automatically transfers to the restorers.

I had nc29 cbr 400rr gull arm (baby blade/fireblade) and it had tons of head work for track days (and road use alike! It was dyno jetted, ported, polished, race ignition, the works.. I regretted getting rid of that one the most, and I've had dozens of every kind of bike from z 1000's to Harleys, magna to vfrs.. I had 2 cbr 250's, (both types mc19 and22) 2 cbr 400's the nc23 and 29, the cbr 600f, the 900rr fireblade and a cbr 1000f, and that little 400rr was my favourite of the bunch!
The baby blade and the vfr are two of my favourite all time bikes, the gear driven cams are amazing, makes the engine run like a Swiss watch! As for the vfr, that v4 sound along with the gear cam whine sounds like nothing else
