    I recall seeing one of these on a episode of Counting Cars and Danny Koker the host said it was one of his most liked cars for it's unique shape! Seeing one of these rare cars again I have to agree 100% - GREAT STYLE AND SHAPE - Putting it on my wish list for Christmas

      So why cant Gormless Motors design a car as attractive as these nowadays?
      My money says it is because nowadays bean counters hold more sway than designers. Ironic that watching pennies has led to financial hardship!

    I bought one in 69 with 12k miles and mint condition...3300 $...on a dare i ran it in a 1/4 mile and turned 14:65 with a 272 rear end ratio which shocked my buds with mopar chargers and roadrunners...it was amazing....it was stolen later that year...I sure miss that beautiful car

    The door panels have more style than most entire modern cars. Onne thing that amazes me is jow many of the old, high end cars had A/C as an option.

      @thomasthurston6656 2 роки тому

      Not all Buicks had AC. It was a expensive option. The base RIVIERA was 4469.00 The AC was another 421.00 if you got climate control it was 499.94

      Some don't need or want the A/C soo many will leave it off or remove it. To some its unimaginable to not have it, but there are others that will have it removed.

    • @thomasthurston6656
      @thomasthurston6656 2 роки тому

      @@VoloMuseumAutoSales That info I posted is from Buick dealer books $ 421.00 wasn't cheap in 67. The base RIVIERA was $ 4469.00 It was always Buick's personal luxury car.

    • @craigjorgensen4637
      @craigjorgensen4637 10 місяців тому

      @@thomasthurston6656 A car of this Riviera’s caliber really SHOULD be well optioned including air conditioning! If it were a Skylark or maybe a Le Sabre it could be overlooked but not on a luxury car!
