In the intro they say they sell over a thousand a year. One stop shopping. A lot of people don't want to dig and search for a deal. With a place like this you likely get some type of warranty and follow-up. High prices for sure.
@@brucewilson1958 they can say whatever they want and maybe they do sell that many cars per year. It’s none of my business to begin with. I merely stated an opinion. More power to them, but I wouldn’t buy one of their cars, no matter how shiny it is, certainly not for the price they’re asking..
Great video. Well done. Yes, the prices do seem higher than these would bring at auction (the real test) , but they're really worth what someone will pay. If they are selling these cars regularly at these prices, more power to them. BTW, the "1944 Deluxe" is a typo. Should be "1940 Ford Deluxe" convertible

My suggestion the next time you do one of these is just type a little more information on the vehicle, such as specific engine and tranny. That certainly can make a huge difference in cars. Otherwise just looking at the price means nothing.
The horror of seeing some of these classic car modifications is discouraging. After market wheels on a vintage Cadillac. 🤔These restorers seem to be still locked into their Hot Wheels mentality. A true classic car lover would recognize the symbiotic relationship with the wheel covers in the overall design. How could someone look at a 1958 Eldorado or a 58 Dodge Custom Royal wheel cover and not say OMG these are works of art and an event in themselves. A sad day for History.
Wonderful collection. There way. over priced though. I'll take the Mad Max car. Last of the V-8 interceptors....they don't make em like that anymore. Be a shame to blow it up....
It won't be long and the market for these cars is going to dry up. Young people aren't interested in vehicles with carburetors, and they feel no attachment to these cars like us boomers.
Anything newer than 1973 would be a dog with all of the emmision controls. I had a 1976 Lincoln mark IV with a 460 ci V8 and it only managed about 250 hp.

You know the only way to quell this excessive pricing is map to entertain dealers asking these kind of prices. Once they find themselves sitting on too much stock for too long a period of time you should see prices come down to more reasonable asking amount. The prices he's asking for these typical old automobiles, in what we believe to be excellent condition is way too much. But from what I've read we seem to all be in agreement on that. Sure they're worth more than they were when they were new and there's been a lot of money put into them to restore them but they're not what you might refer to as out of the ordinary cars. So you shouldn't be asking out of the ordinary prices.
Too much. I just went to Barrett Jackson, and put my own eyes on these vehicles. Most present much better in camera than in person, by a factor of 10. Good "drivers" fetched high prices. Im building my own GM stepside, and was worried I should perhaps have just bought an auction vehicle. After BJ, I'm so glad I'm elbows deep in my own project, as it'll be drastically cheaper than starting with an auction vehicle. Or buying one close too what I want. There's still an abundance of wealthy and they aren't afraid to spend. Look local, and deals can be had. My two cents.
Several people have commented on the first item you mentioned so pretty sure we got that wrong. So sorry. Usually we are getting it right off the sticker on the car, but it is possible we made some mistakes. We do strive to be accurate.
I used to be into this crap big time, then I realized these are just things and stuff, having these or not having these absolutely makes no difference in my life. Helping my family with housing and other things did. Eventually all these will be recycled into soup cans
My question is, why would you pay more for classic cars that have zero technology compared to new cars? I as this as a former owner of a 71 Pontiac Grand Prix, a 72 Grand Prix and a 70 GTO. I would love to go out to the garage and hop into another classic Pontiac, but these people need to step away from the crack pipe.
Places like this are the reason these cars are out of reach for most people. I’m near the Volo museum, I saw a car for sale locally by private owner who ended up selling to Volo, they jacked up the price considerably from what the original owner was asking for the car. I don’t mean to bad rap the place as I’ve been there several times, there are many attractions there with the military museum, Titanic display, old campers, ect, and the place is very family oriented good place to bring the little ones for the day. But if someone is looking for a classic car to buy, his prices are waaay out of line, better off doing your own footwork and buying a classic from a private owner.
