- I shared this video with it's tutorial and sound test because this setup can still help a little with some of you/us. Though it has a very little lag, it can still be more useful with some situations. These adapters are the only ones I have yet I know there are more in the market that will also work the same. Hope you find this useful and helpful.
*Just for an update: The audio extractor supports 120hz @1440p.

The fact that my $499 2015 vizio tv can connect to any Bluetooth speaker but these top of the line game consoles can’t it’s insane! Lol
It is been a huge question in our minds why XB & PS can just make all BT devices compatible on their consoles. I believed they just want some other brands approach them to have partnership/collaboration. What do you guys think?

Microsofts design of the Series x is terribly flawed as far as ports/connections are concerned. No optical.. No aux... No native Bluetooth.. no audio in/out! Why on earth would they do that?🤷♂️

Yes, we all wants the same. We just don't know what is the plan of these companies like Microsoft or even Sony on their devices why there are limitations.

I was just looking to connect it not to buy cords L video
2 much easier options- 1. Get a 3.5 mm headphone cable and use audio out on monitor or tv to speaker with 3.5 mm input. 2. Use soundbar that has hdmi in and hdmi out, run hdmi from Xbox to soundbar then from soundbar to monitor / tv.

You're right. But not sure why they do this. At least on the previous models, the optical audio port was there.

My smart monitor has bluetooth connectivity, I'm just going to pair that with some speakers since xbox audio comes through it anyway on the HDMI.
It did until today output audio on the 3.5mm headphone socket but it's stopped working.

So I purchased the adapter and connected my sound bar via the optical connection but when I play my game, the video will go off and on. Is this a common issue and how can I fix it?
Please make sure you use unfaulty hdmi cable. Kindly check if it's plugged properly as well.

Monitor should have an audio out. The HDMI coming from the xbox already has audio. The audio out on the monitor connects to the speakers and that's it. All that other stuff just made someone rich. It's redundant.

Monitor speakers are not good, however; Microsoft locks you down. Sony gives you choice.

Thanks for asking. Yes, it will. You just need to use the HDMI audio extractor. In this way there is no need of any audio ports from your monitor. The audio will be coming from the Xbox through HDMI audio extractor(with the BT dongle) and not from the monitor..
Wouldn't the ugreen plugging into controller with usb into xbox not work like series S?
Please find my separate video for one s. The other way is to use a 3.5mm splitter with TRRS connector to the xbox controller then connect the dongle with 3.5mm connector to that splitter headset port. I bought a different item from there. I'm doubting also but. My order came accordingly without any issue. BTW my Bluetooth adapter was from Amazon. And after I post some of the videos of it becomes oos. I'm not telling its because of my video but that's what happens. I dont have any affiliate anyway.

You're absolutely right. For both of them, PS and XB. To be honest, I'm still thinking what will be the possible reason.
I think they gain not having to pay Sony Bluetooth licensing fees...and more customers for their own peripherals.

I think it is impossible right? Just checked, some ports that Xbox one had are missing in Xbox series S.
@@ViWizard thank you for asking. It is possible. As I mentioned on the video if you don't use the extractor just make sure your monitor or TV have the ports like aux or optical then you can just plug the Bluetooth adapters.
So complicated. You only need a speaker Bluetooth with jack cable connection 3.5 mm.( The most of speakers already include this) You have to connect this cable to the Xbox controller. You don't need 3 extra cables for that..
Thank you for sharing. Just my opinion. But the controller is made to give you freedom, to move freely. If you have cables hanging around then it's a big hassle especially when playing. You can just listen to your TV also anyway without doing this. But there are still many people like to listen on their own external speakers. But thanks a lot for writing your comment, I truly appreciate it.

The PS5 has a soundbar option and hooks right up. This is ridiculous.
