In this video, I walk you through how to reduce the music volume in your podcasts by using volume keyframes. This is something that would come into play when you start off your podcast with music playing at a higher volume and then you gradually reduce the volume as the narration starts.
Descript does have an Audio Ducking feature, but if you try to use it for anything but the default setting you are going to be EXTREMELY frustrated. Trust me, you do not want to use the audio ducking option. Save yourself some money on your therapy sessions and use the steps I show you here with volume keyframes.
This video can also be found on Sean and Dana's Zero2Income channel at / @zero2income .

When the window option appears, the "add volume keyframe" doesn't appear. Then what? I have tried every UA-cam training on Descript and I can't find how to lower the volume of the music so that it does't over power my voice. It's just not an option.
    Any other tips?

Hello @ceogoddess... I'd have to take a look at it to see what is going on. If you would like to set up a zoom call so we can look at it together send me an email to themembershipanswerman@gmail.com. I'm happy to take a look at it with you if you would like.

right clicking doesn't work on a mac. How do I get this menu to drop down on a mac?

Hello @MoTalks. Sorry for the lag in responding. I hope you are doing well and having a great night/day. I haven't used a mac in years, but if I remember correctly a two-finger press will bring up the same right-click menu that comes up on a pc.
