I genuinely don't know why Lord Huron didn't just make these one song. Part II is an amazing and very necessary cap to the experience

@rj31789 I agree, but you should watch one of their live performances (it's on UA-cam.) They sung their opening with Part 1, and from then on they sung a bunch of other songs that shifted the mood of the overall performance like waves (think of up downs with the overall "feel" of the music.)
Nearing the end, they played Anicnet Names Pt 2 which revived the more "intesnse" feeling that was introduced and lost in the beginning.
Think of the nature of lord huron too, all of their songs hold amazing poetic meaning. The way they structure their albums, and indeed their performances reflects this.
Part 1 is probably my favorite LH song after Meet Me In The Woods, and that hit between part 1 and 2 just 😍😍😍
Yaaaaas, I’d reckon this is my second favorite after When The Night Is Over, for me. Legit I don’t think I’ve heard any of their music and not liked it. Every single song I’ve heard I’ve enjoyed. Soooooo good.

@@ancientnames1275 I mean, the songs on one album tend to sound kinda samey. I don't actually have a problem with that because I love the sound, and it's different enough, but like... "Love Like Ghosts" and "Meet Me in the Woods" literally have the same melody, lol.

It is by far their most unique album but that is a good thing. Strange trails, lonesome dreams and long lost are brilliant as well tho
