I have 5 echo devices in my house. When I play music on them, I use my phone. I start the song, then choose to play it on whatever echo device I want (or several in my groups). I have gone through the process of adding Apple Music in my Alexa App, as you just showed. When I start a song on apple music on my phone, there is no option to cast the song to an echo device (or several). Do you know if this is possible?
@@arnavmahana7561theres no solution that’s why y hated Alexa like it doesn’t work great also in the app a lot of bugs 🤮🤮, but well I got 2 Alexas and every day I send mails to them to repair that or something, I just don like and I don’t wanna use Spotify that app work very well on Alexa but no one wants Spotify when u hav Apple Music
Is this a good option to have music playing in my kids room without having my phone connected to it? I don’t want my alarm in the morning to go off and wake them up.
@@ErinLawrenceTV I have iPhone 14 Pro max. I was just able to link it with 1st option but not by account of any another music except amazon as default.
@@ErinLawrenceTV hello dear, iPhone 13, and me too don’t have a 2nd option to link via add service, the option to add Apple Music does t exists anymore…. Any updates on this?❤
I tried to do that, changing the location in the Amazon account on the web but when I try to link the Apple Music account, Apple said that option is not available in my country so I can install the skill on Alexa, but Apple asked me to change my Apple ID Location
I want to transfer the music from apple music app to alexa like spotify does not via bluetooth, it sucks... im so disapointed about it... sometimes I miss spotify but I love apple music more.
It will not connect unless I have a subscription to Apple Music. All I want to do is listen to my own music from my itunes library (that I already paid for). Is there a way to do that?
@@nextflipbook4108 Yeah I'm guessing Bluetooth is probably the only option as the music "you own" can't technically be "cast" within a paid platforms' ecosystem (sadly).
Use your music app to cast music onto an Alexa-enabled device You start by playing music through your app. When you want to cast, you pick an Alexa device from the device list and the music from your app is cast to that device. The device now starts playing music (previously playing through your app). Any content the device was previously playing will be overridden. Want to cast music on your group of Alexa devices? No problem, Alexa Cast works with Multi-Room Music.
Too bad they don’t use airplay.

The Bluetooth works but not the Apple Music option that you described… it answers back stating “unable to connect”. I give up
mine says the same 😢thing
I asked her to connect to apple music and she sent a notification to my phone.
I have the option to link my Apple Music to my echo dot but can’t due to geographic location. What should I do?
