I signed up right away when I heard about this. Yeah, I love the perks, but I also love what you do. I never did any leatherworking until I saw your channel, and now, having bought two of your mask patterns and the recent pattern for the shoes and they all turned out great, I've begun making other things on my own for my hobby as a colonial era historical reenactor. So far I've made two hunting pouches, several bullet bags, leggings, moccasins, a few hatchet scabbards, numerous belts and slings, and a backpack that took an entire half a cow and two weeks to stitch together. You've given me a hobby, and I'm grateful for that. Thanks!!

BRAVO, Tony!!! A true master of your craft, you are. I tip my hat and bow to your expertise. This project takes me back to my working years in theatres, on film and television sets, working with steel and wood and all of the tools and materials required to fabricate everthing needed to 'make the majic happen' for the audience. I would buy good leather work gloves and cut off the finger tips and use the gloves until they no longer protected my hands. With no finger tips, one is able to tie knots, thread nuts onto bolts and do myriads of tasks with no loss of dexterity. My advancing years and declining vision will not stand in my way to attempt some of the projects that you have shared with the world. It is a pleasure to watch you work. Well done, sir. Well done.

I bought fingerless motorcycle gloves for the same exact reason. I used to buy RED leather gloves to prevent other stagehands and techs from stealing them.
If I had this pattern I'd have been selling them backstage. :D

Perfect timing. I've been looking for some gloves like this to provide a bit of protection when using my walking stick/crutches/walker. And, of course, because I'm looking, no one is selling anything like it. So now, I'm going to make some, in the colours of my choice. Oh. Decisions Decisions....

Looks like a challenge! No glovers needle? I have 2. They are curved. I plan on adding the accent leather to the outside and not cutting out the holes so I'll have more protection to the knuckles and palm areas. Also a small oval over the base of the thumb joint would be good to

Great video Tony, awesome as always. Keep it up buddy. Do you ever make any knife sheaths or gun holsters. I don't remember seeing any in your video list. I only found your channel few days ago an after watching first one, I hit like button, subscribe, and bell, then shared the video and watched a dozen more you made. Love the leather work you do, you make things others don't or your designs are better. Thanks for sharing, an tell people to hit the like button also. You forget to tell them.

I never wore those kind of gloves, and I have a question: doesn't the leather ever feel uncomfortable on the skin (like sweating)? Why there is no form of lining? Is it because you are supposed to wear them just for a short amount of time? Or is it a matter of good vs bad leather?

Hey, Tony. I cannot believe that you felt it necessary to put this tutorial up for free. I'm guessing that there were folk complaining about having a free pattern and then having to part with money to watch the tutorial. Those people should be ashamed. The man has to make a living somehow. No one can or should work for free especially when they are as talented as Tony. You are not just paying for the pattern you are paying for the mans experience and skills as a pattern creator. My apologies if this post is not the type you want on here, Tony. Let me know and I will take it off, it just annoys me that people expect everything for free...
