@@justno984 a lot of gaming/twitch creators who do vlogs in japan tend to be very loud and obnoxious for content. There are times and places to act certain ways but it came off as disrespectful even in loud and active places. it’s nice seeing a very subtle but massive difference in the way vlogs are made now because no one is being used as a prop or having their day to day lives turn into content they didn’t sign up to do. like schlatt says perfectly in this video “not everything needs to be content” :)
@@Jadelovesjupitar I understand what you're talking about but I don't think being loud in public is necessarily a bad thing... some people just express themselves in that way and that's okay... at the end of the day if someone doesn't want to hear any noise they shouldn't come outside the house in the first place. I feel like people who always try to quite people down and stop them from having fun are a bunch of losers.
@@justno984It’s rude. Imagine you invited someone to your house, and asked them to politely keep their voice down because you lived next to an older couple who might get frightened. They come over, and y’all start talking, and they suddenly start laughing and screaming loudly. You’d be frustrated, no? You specifically asked them to keep it calm, and they went and did the opposite. In Japan, most people don’t particularly like all that noise. Their culture isn’t like America’s, where silence isn’t sacred. Not only that, but the obnoxious streamers mentioned usually harass and disrupt everyone around them, simply to play it up for the camera.
I think it's great how you can recognise Schlatt's style of talking just from the subtitles alone, like when he was adoring the strong men that were helping him or when he was showing off his extreme wealth.
Honestly this kind of video is really fun, you look very respectful and calm in this video and I'm happy to see that you like it! Keep it up if that's what makes you happy!

The camerawork was great and the audio was the best quality I've ever heard! I'm really glad you tried out this format. Also, as someone learning Japanese, the translation CC was fun to attempt to read along with the English text. Very very cool video :D
I like this style of content Schlatt is trying out here, your typical non-talking tourist type content, but with his own little twists to it that make it not extremely boring and typical, like his mildly crude humor thrown in there occasionally that make it funny. I'd love to see more honestly.
this gave me so much whiplash in the best way possible. i watch so many silent travel vlogs like these and i had to scroll down and remind myself a few times that this is the same guy who fought Corpse Husband over a billboard. it's so chill. i love this kind of thing!!!!
Didn't expect this but honestly kind of needed it. Very calming and allowed me to just take a breather. Since I've been a bit sick this week, it's been hard to just find some calmness. Thanks Schlatt for making this week a bit more bearable!

This is honestly probably one of my favourite videos. I feel replacing talking with the subtitles was a great way to go. Allowed us to hear all the noises and sounds that usually get drowned out by a normal voice while also getting your commentary. Glad that you tried this video format out Schlatt, and thanks for sharing part of your trip to Japan with us

It was so relaxing and felt like I was there and the subtitles really helped with connection while keeping the only background sound theme. It may take me a while until I can go in person but this helped, hope you make more content like this in the future🖤.
Yeah, this is probably one of my favorite videos you've ever made. I like the premise of this video especially, as someone who likes watching that one guy who falls asleep in train lodging in Japan, you took that style of vlog, mixed with your own comedy, and put the mute button on yourself. Everything in the subtitles I could imagine you saying out loud flawlessly, and I think that's a mark of good writing
I loved this video and the format!! It was really nice to just hear the peaceful sounds of Japan with no talking, and I enjoyed being about to read what you were thinking from the captions! This video was so peaceful and beautiful.

I've never been outside of the US in my life but I've had this really strong urge to travel lately. I've never been a fan of watching travel videos or people advertising tourist destinations because it always seems to ruin the "magic" of the actual location. But being able to watch this- the silent narration, Schlatt's trademark humor, and the natural ambiance of Japan's public and places... It satisfied that urge today. I felt like I got to experience something special, even if it was just through a screen. Sure felt like more than just another UA-cam video. Thank you for such a treat Schlatt :)

First time watching through I felt tense there might be a sudden jumpscare or loud noise, but the video was so peaceful, had to watch again in a more relaxed state. Looks like a fun trip man, I hope to go someday with my brother to look at cars and some of the scenery.

Well if you like this there’s a whole channel called Experience JAPAN full of them that he copied the format of for this
@@Sush._. I dont feel very blessed atm, but i guess you are right.
This is something completely different from what I expected, but it was such a lovely, cozy and chill experience. Thank you Schlatt for this beautiful piece.
This is for some reason one of the most calming videos I have ever watched
You coming across that school class at 3:42 was absolutely wholesome
The lil chuckle at around 3:55 and 3:56 really sells this wholesome moment
they dont know the things hes done in the past
I don’t know if it’s just me but this video really made it easy to chill out since i’ve been having a stressful day.
ビデオブログをありがとうございました!今後もいろいろな活動をしていきたいと思いますので、楽しいことをしていただければ幸いです。:)
It is incredibly relaxing. It's the last day of my summer break and tomorrow I'll start at a new school so this is exactly the kind of thing I need.
Love how calm it was while still having 100% of his normal videos goofy funny energy #Vlagg
#Vlagg is fucking toptier mate🤣
I hope that # sticks lmao
@murydary4464 Lets share the #Vlagg so father might show approval.
i love hearing schlatts slightly labored breathing as he reaches the zenith of Mt Takao
what
I love seeing "Schlatt" go out of his way to try new experiences! He really showed those people he's changed since 1999
This was an unexpected surprise! It's really nice for Schlatt to show this pleasant side of him and I hope that he could continue this style of videos!
You really are a jack of all trades Schlatt
It’s very fun and refreshing to see Schlatt make videos like these where you can tell he’s really enjoying himself and doesn’t have to exaggerate his character all the time.
This was a very relaxing format to watch! I'm glad you left your style of speaking in the subtitles, because I can hear your voice through the words.
I enjoyed watching, and imo, if you feel happy making this type of content, then continue to make more content that YOU enjoy.
I'm happy to see you enjoy yourself, and allowing us to join your adventure. Thank you
The camerawork was great and the audio was the best quality I've ever heard! I'm really glad you tried out this format. Also, as someone learning Japanese, the translation CC was fun to attempt to read along with the English text. Very very cool video :D
This video was every relaxing to watch. Im glad you enjoyed your time in Japan!
real
I like this style of content Schlatt is trying out here, your typical non-talking tourist type content, but with his own little twists to it that make it not extremely boring and typical, like his mildly crude humor thrown in there occasionally that make it funny. I'd love to see more honestly.
i agree, it was super cool and the funny jokes in the subtitles made the entire video 😭
this gave me so much whiplash in the best way possible. i watch so many silent travel vlogs like these and i had to scroll down and remind myself a few times that this is the same guy who fought Corpse Husband over a billboard. it's so chill. i love this kind of thing!!!!
This is not what i usually expect from schlatt but its a really nice change of pace! I visited japan just this summer so its very fun to see you pov!
Didn't expect this but honestly kind of needed it. Very calming and allowed me to just take a breather. Since I've been a bit sick this week, it's been hard to just find some calmness. Thanks Schlatt for making this week a bit more bearable!
I really love this type of video and how respectful you were during it. You always see vlogs of people talking loudly in crowds when they're visiting Japan, this one is a complete change of pace
i love how peaceful everything looks while the commentary is absolute madness
This was such a delightful and relaxing watch, thank you for making this Schlatt. I’m hoping to visit Japan sometime next year as well and seeing how much you enjoyed it has made me look forward to it even more. I’m happy you enjoyed your stay and I’d love to see more of this type of content in the future 😊
I’ve never expected a video like this from you but I honestly enjoyed every second of it! From the incredible views and respectful nature towards a beauty culture to being able to hear your voice when reading the subtitles, I thoroughly loved all of it. Thank you Schlaggosaurus Rex 🫶
Hats off to “schloot” for making one of the most calm, quiet and relaxing tokyo tour video
Yeah, this is definitely my favorite Schlatt video. It's just so wonderfully real and cozy, and I would love to see more content like this.
This was so nice and relaxing aaaa. It was also so nice to see Schlarts different side of when he waved to the children and laughed lol. It was very wholesome awww!!! Also, I love how I can hear Schlort saying all the words and his humour can be seen here too lmao. And I love how we see that Schlarg is scared of heavy machinery. It shows that he might actually be human! Omg Schlogurt literally met a fan. That guy had the world's best honeymoon he's lucky af wtf are the chances oh my god
Schlogurt is foul 😭💀
this reads like an overedited radio ad
I would never watch anything like this ever but the fact that it is schlatt behind the camera with his humor and his way of speaking just makes this video so good. I just imagine him saying the things that are there like "I like when big men get me off" or "Ohh great, more stairs". This kind of humor is so good
Schlatt is always putting out amazing content and this has even surpassed that, he really does keep expectations high with his charisma and style
schlatt this video was absolutely incredible. not usually into this style of content, but I was watching every second of it. I can genuinely tell you liked making it and filming it too, great stuff man. please keep doing the same in the future, truly a masterpiece to watch. huge creds to you dude.
Loved the relaxing video capturing all the beautiful scenery along with the captions, just a lovely reminder that it's still a Schlank video. Would love to watch more!
honestly this video was so nice to watch. it was relaxing but was still making me laugh. it was such an enjoyable experience and i’m glad you enjoyed your time in japan!
Loved this new style. It was nice to watch something and hear nature instead of city sounds. There's something calming about being in a place that you don't understand. Really felt like I was there, thank you for taking us with and I'm glad you got to enjoy it without filming all of it.
I could watch this content for days. The style and relaxation complimented by the subtitle humor is something I've never come across before, but I like it. More!
This is some of the most genuine and heartfelt Schlatt content in years, a perfect blend of his humor and his genuine passions. Absolutely love it Big Guy keep it up
imma be honest this was NOT what i was expecting but im very glad i watched. its almost like he's still with us 😭🕊️
This is honestly probably one of my favourite videos. I feel replacing talking with the subtitles was a great way to go. Allowed us to hear all the noises and sounds that usually get drowned out by a normal voice while also getting your commentary. Glad that you tried this video format out Schlatt, and thanks for sharing part of your trip to Japan with us
The sound quality is out of this world
How is your first vlog/travelling video one of the best i've seen? It's clear that your success isn't only because of tiktok-reactions, there is a lot of skill behind every video. Please continue making these, they are fun to watch and I assume pretty fun to make aswell.
yeah for sure, he is so talented, hate to see him beat himself up for only making Tik Tok reactions. He has passion for this art form and it shows
This is one of the most fun and interesting videos you've made, i love seeing the beautiful scenery through your camera with the ambient voices of people in the background, you've managed to capture an incredible experience and I would love to see more of it!! The commentary on the captions was so much fun, keep it up :D
Love the content big guy! Very excited! Doing great ❤
I appreciate how good the Japanese subtitles are. Whoever did them did a great job with tone and vocabulary.
I loved this video and the format!! It was really nice to just hear the peaceful sounds of Japan with no talking, and I enjoyed being about to read what you were thinking from the captions! This video was so peaceful and beautiful.
6:40 of all the places and videos, i did not expect to see black midi’s “27 questions” here. great song and vlog!!!!
Wow, such a beautiful mountain! Looks exactly like the mountain where Schlart used to chain me to a rock and leave me alone for a week back in '99! Brings back some good memories 🥰🥰🥰
this is so out of character but so awesome please keep doing these
I've never been outside of the US in my life but I've had this really strong urge to travel lately.
This is byfar the best youtube video ive watched.
I love your funny content, but this is an amazing break from the overly loud youtube.
10/10 dude, you nailed this.
One of these days Big Guy here will have a cohesive and well put channel that will not be a random ass channel where he posts once in a while and goes to another one. But besides that, this was a great video, you did surprisingly well doing this format. Great job "Schlatt"
First time watching through I felt tense there might be a sudden jumpscare or loud noise, but the video was so peaceful, had to watch again in a more relaxed state. Looks like a fun trip man, I hope to go someday with my brother to look at cars and some of the scenery.
This was very enjoyable! I'm glad we could still feel your personality through the subtitles :D
I really love this video. It's so cozy and delightful, and the fact that schlatt is able to enjoy these experiences without feeling pressured to talk in the moment and make content is definitely an added benefit. 10/10
man what a good fucking video. loved how dynamic the audio was, genuinely felt like i was somewhere other than my nasty ass bedroom while the train was going past at 14:45
It may be strange to say, but this video actually made me shed some tears. There's something incredibly serene about it; the intimacy of what seems like probably your thoughts at the time, and how respectful you are despite the joking nature of it. This is incredible.
This was so nice to watch, genuinely a really calming vlog. I'm loving this ! The pictures at the end were beautiful as well ♡
I enjoy this format. I also like to watch these walk in some place videos, usually when I’m high. Please do more 😊
im sure he will next time hes in japan
