Wonderful video. Thanks. I've always felt a strong connection to the land and nature, in general. I'm much more interested in the Vaettir than the gods. Also researching Jotunar. Most videos I've watched on UA-cam, on the subject of magic, seem to suggest this is a mostly female thing. Like most shaman were female...Is this true? I'd like to research more on connecting with animal spirits (bear, wolf, fox, raven). Any advice? Suggestions? Is there even a place for this concept?
Milk, what a cool offering! Alcohol is often given to landvættir, but I’ve actually been told not to do so in America. Distilled alcohol was part of the colonization process, introducing it to native tribes caused rampant alcoholism and was one of the ways that Europeans destroyed native civilizations. So offering alcohol to American landvættir may offend them, but milk is great I haven’t seen that before!
Thanks for sharing your offering practice for the land spirits. I’ve never seen someone offer milk before - just read about it. I know about mugwort from receiving acupuncture. I haven’t tried it as an incense.
Some people live mugwort some people think it smells to much like marijuana, I only burn it when I seek a trance state, I have a good friend who uses frankincense the same way...
Those mountains! Absolutely wonderful place to call home. And always good to hear more people to talk about the spirits!
+The Wisdom Of Odin we’ve got room whenever you wanna drop in.
I really appreciate this sharing. Very inspirational and affirming.
Thanks

Here’s everything you said and when done the milk if nothing “drank” it is actually good for the soil...
