You listen this movie song nd you cry for 100%..there songs even maked pakistani cry..
Abey chutiye ye log hindi nahi samjhenge.
Aur English translation me maja nahi ayega.
Why should they cry, after all they are not Indians. They will not!
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
No one can make another border movie ....great
By today's standards the CGI looks ridiculous but more than the battle scenes the story screenplay acting and other aspects of the movie were superb ... A classic...
These are the sikhs ....pride of our india from hundreds of years they are protecting motherland called india...they 2% of india’s population but there contribution in armed forces of india is highest..they are just badass turban men..💪
Sikho ki sadave jai hoo

Dat Angry 😡 turban man is the real steel.
sir singh is king
His name is kuldeep singh ,he is a medal of Honor winner,.it is a true character
Pride moment for whole country 1971 war only with 120 people against more than 1000 enemies which turned the face of indian army for present day
Prashanth Endluri 2000*👍
This is one of the best movie in the history of Indian cinema
Aur sunny deol sir as Kuldeep Singh.... Kya kehna...
I think that the animation is pretty cool compared to 90s
Those were real shots......Yeah but plane flying closer to the ground..that was Animation
Those are actual practical effects not a animation....
Hahhaha these are Americans’ patten tanks given to untrained Pakistani army.
Indian Army & Air Force destroyed them like toys in all wars against Pakistan.
Lol funny to see Americans watching American tanks getting destroyed.
& yes this movie was based on true wars with Pakistan.
Beyond 🤣🤣
They were chinese Type-59 Tanks. India flattened American Pattons in 1965 War.
One of the best movies of its time!! Guys please watch it completely. It's very beautifully made.
This was not just movie it's our history, this war faught in longewala in 1971.....between 120 Indian army personals and 3000 Pakistani army personals with tank
❤
This movie was inspired from a real life incident that took place in the early 70's. Well the picturization and graphics looks quite average since the movie was made in the 90's. Yet, I would say this movie is quite a good watch.
this is based on actual incident in a war of India and Pakistan ......there is actually a graveyard of tanks where Indian Army defeated a brigade of Pakistani Tank Infantry ..
Maybe you are talking about "Patton Nagar". AFAIK, that was during Battle of Assal Uttar.
do u know the graveyard of indain tanks chwinda!
The jet coming from behind was then copied by legendary director Steven Spielberg in Saving Private Ryan. Border was released in 1997 and Ryan was in 1998
Man just because there was similarity in those scenes didn't mean Steven Spielberg copied it.Do you have any proof or source where Steven Spielberg acknowledged being 'inspired' to lift this scene from Border for use in Saving Private Ryan??
Asis Rout it was inspired by border scene like many of bollywood scenes are inspired by hollywood. And qhy Steven speilberg will tell you about inspiration as nobody actually do that although there are exception
Asis Rout Lol USA tanks getting destroyer😂
to all our firangi guys over there those were times when america was a die hard friend of pakistan and supplied pakistan with latest military equipments and those were times India as in this war created a graveyard of american patten tanks and later america supplied its ww2 unsunkable submarine to wage war against India and India sunk the invincible USS diablo ... that is what India is ... shalom
when this movie was released on single screen theater public reaction was awsome many were shouting bharat mata ki jai every one just standup on there seats.
My Dad served in 1971 war against Pakistan and he passed away a few years back. Although he fought against Pakistan in 1971 but in reality he believed in peace always, he was a pacifist at heart. Hope my Pakistani brothers get this message.
We have great respect for our heroes like tour father. But wirhdue respect, Pakistan has never done anything so that we may consoder them brothers
The way he introduced sunny deol at the very beginning..,😂😂😂😘😂😂😘
I'm proud of my country..
I love my India
It is a true story of a war happened back in 1971 between india and pak which was such a shame for both countries those times were different but now time has changed and people want to be friends and wanna stay friend. Sunny deol is playing a role of Brigadier Kuldeep singh chandi. Salute to indian army`s Bravery. No war we want peace
you should watch this whole movie...a true and brave story of 120 soldier fighting with 2000 pakistani soldier at jaisalmer border and kept them away....for full night...till the time air force steps in and won the battle for India...
you must watch full war scene
This movie was based on 1971 Indo-Pak war, one of my uncle was participated on that war. On that time he was just finished his army training and went directly to the battlefield.
I recently visited Jaisalmer where this movie was shot. Very close to the Pakistan Border. Visited the Tanot temple where the bombs are still lying. Awesome experience.
One of the best movie in bollywood history ....big hit....superb .....
This is my one of all time favorite Bollywood movie. I like this movie so much that I remember all the sequences, names of all the characters, even every dialogue.
Saab ji Saab ji, assi Jang jit gaye aa Saab ji.
I watched this movie thousands of times on Utv Action.... 🤪🤪🤪
It's based on real incident where 120 soldiers fought 600 foot soldiers and tank regiment. They were able to hold them full night because that time night didn't have night flying planes. The famous dialogue of movie is: "I will assist you in the first light of the morning" and India won the war.
Do NOT underestimate this movie. It was based on true events. A little over dramatised in the movie but true nonetheless. My father commanded the Sikh Light Infantry in 2 wars. Sikhs are fearless fighters. Nothing but respect for them.
Every soldier is a fierce fighter nothing to do with religion
salute to major chandpuri. sunny deol acting on his role he was true legend.
This is true story based on the battle of Longewala. Wherein just 120 soldiers fought against 1000 Pakistani army soldiers with 40 tanks all night. And Kuldeep Singh Chandpuri won this battle
The most dangerous part is when Sunny Deol shows thumbs up to jackie shroff the fighter jet pilot and he even seen and responded him with a thumbs up too while flying a fighter jet. That's some real Hawk eye shit.
this movie gives me ghoosh bumps every time i watch
Super sunny paji garet deshpremi asli hiro he selut he paji ko megastar INDIAN Lions he Bollywood ka asli sehr he Hindustan Ki Jan he Love you sunny paji
I have watched this movie so many times.... Childhood memories ✌️
It’s all about 120 Indian army men with 2 jeep mounted recoiled gun vs 66 tanks & 2000 pak solders all night long to hold their post. All 4 hunter jets was without night vision & with a very poor radars that is why pilots decided to fly very low at the dawn to ensure that they can see the flag of pak on the tank.
Major Kuldeep singh chandpuri received the highest honour of Indian defence forces to hold his post for all night long without any backup support
This is a 3 hr long movie based on true story and actual Battle starts after intermission, you must watch the complete Battle scene of 1.5 hr, then only you will get an idea what was happen and how realistically tgey had created all that scenario, their hardwork....
You'll definitely love it
sunny deol is one of the best.
Sunny Deol is Immortal in his all movies.. 😂😂 bullets and grenades can't kill him in movies 😂😂
Sunny Deol is the best Action Hero India ever produced . Border was a super hit and sunny has been the best actor in border
I again saw this movie on 15th August I love it. Though it was also kind of emotional at the end.
One salute to this movie's action director
Indian Army , from world war to battle in kashmir , they hv always performed well , whenever given the task . M proud of Indian Army . Salute . .jai hind
Its not only movie
Its our feelings
A true story of war
This battle was the second biggest battle after world war 2 where only 120 Indian soldiers defeated Pakistan's whole battle tank units with thier infantry jai hind 🙏
This was battle of longewala which you can also search on Google It is also known as graveyard of paton tanks of pakistanis. Proud to be an Indian. Jay hind✊
One of the favourite movies of mine, loved that scene in my childhood & still loving it
Google the battle of longewala. 120 Indians with just one jeep mounted mortar kicked off a whole battalion of 3k infantry Pak soliders , 45 tanks and 36 armoured vehicles. It's a record in history.
The damages vehicle and their tanks are kept at the museum in Jaisalmer till date.
This was about 1971 indo-pakista war where 120 soldiers were standing in front of 2000 pakistani troops at longewal. The grenade scene was also real. Also in longewal our soldiers armed land mines on there body to stop pakistani tank regiment to invade.
Thanks for your reaction loved it!!
All i was expecting the scene of Sunil shetty dying in front of the tank....
"Ye Dharti meri Maa hai"
Lolol
At 5.26 You people think blowing the battlle tank with grenades was funny but it was really happened in 1965 indo pakistan war, Company Quartermaster Havildar Abdul Hamid did this. Go search some wiki.
AWESOME MOVIE BY MR. J P DUTTA which represented the war fought between india and pakistan during 1971..
but some real facts as below.........
Did you know?
Border movie over-dramatized the Battle of Longewala.
1. The truth is that India lost only 2 of its soldiers during the battle.
2. Indian outpost was in a very strong defensive location.
3. Major Chandpuri was later awarded Maha Vir Chakra (second highest gallantry award in India).
4. Indian soldiers held Pakistan’s advance for more than six hours before the air support could arrive.
5. The Pakistani divisional commander who led the Longewala attack was dismissed from service.
Ben, you are right in saying "...thats where tanks go to die" The location is called the graveyard of Pakistani tanks.
It is real story
about 100K Pakistani soldiers surrendered to about 12K Indian soldiers in war of 1971 whose one battle is shown here in this movie,
the surrender let India to divide Pakistan into two parts I.e Pakistan and Bangladesh(as a free nation),
proud of our army
long live Indian army,
Bhartiya Sena Ki Jai
Jet coming through the explosion is a epic scene. It sends shivers down my body.
This movie is based on real war.
That is actually a true story...and the movie is so epic
Based on true events of Indo-Pakistan 1971 War
Sunny deol Bollywood king 😄😄😄💪👌👌
U have to see a full war scene to know a best feel of this war👌👌👌👌
That's The True Story & Best Movie On War Ever
Watch full movie u will cry and feel to be proud.
Dis war is based on true story! Battle of longowal!!
This movie was released in 1997 and though the animation may seem a bit rough today but it was good enough some 21 years back! Google 'battle of longewala' and you will get to know about this incident.
Brother you should read up on The Battle of Loungewala. This movie is picked up from the actual war.120 men held of a whole tank regiment of the Pakistani army along with more than 2000+ infantry soldiers without any backup.
Even the scene is more dramatic and may be illogical, but the goosebumps it gave was unparalleled to any other war war movies from india.. Border🥰🥰🥰
The background was awesome 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Those Tanks that are destroyed is still there
this is the 1971 battle , also the world largest surrender, 90000 Pakistani soldiers surrendered,
This scene is the depicting the Longewala post , where 120 Indian soldiers had to hold the battle against 45 tanks and 2000 Pakistani soldiers till morning , as air support was only possible in day light in those days and technology used.
This is the last scene of the movie where finally the Air strike happened and concluded the battle.
I'm dying to see a pak reaction on this film 😂😂
Excellent bro .. I proud be to Indian
This radio msg is real one which was intercepted during the war
Here is the fact , this movie is based on true event , indian army (only 120 soldier ) defeat so many Pakistani soldiers.
This movie indicates the battle of 1972 between Pakistan and India, were India defeated Pakistan and won the battle.
The armaments used in this movie was real.
Wonderful and real movie
and great reaction all of u guys...
Proud that my father fought that war....
Childhood memories👍😁
Because of you I will watch full movie now.
What you good watched was just the end part. Should have watched from the beginning of the war.
Goosebumps
I feel so proud of my Indian army, salute, may God bless all the soldiers.
It's not only fucked awesome it's based on true story 🇮🇳🇮🇳❤️❤️
Border is Movie based on Battle of Longewala 1971
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Longewala
Sunny Deol plays Major Kuldip Singh Chandpuri
It was the battle of longewala.
Where brave 120 Indian soldiers fought against an whole tank regiment and 2000 infantry and support vehicle...
These men stood their ground the whole night to thaw away the Pakistani attack.
This is true story base movie ✌👍
I watched these movie million times..
I think you people should read about the backdrop of the story. deleting two segments from a paragraph and highlighting one portions makes the thing out of context. in the same way watching ending of a movie doesnt give you the flavor of the movie. this movie is american equivalent of top gun, independence day, forest gump apollo 11 and delta forces. when a movie is related to emotions some scenes needs theatrics. same was true with the explosion and plane swaying. the specialty of the movie is the battle on which the movie is based where army 120 men fought 700 men full battalion of pakistan and still won the battle just like the David meets Goliath.
This movie made on a real event..the 1971 war, when Pakistan attacked India from the Rajasthan border..the battle took place at Longewala .. Pakistan had the best tanks at that time (US Patton tanks) India just had 1 company (120 soldiers) deployed there while Pakistan came with 2000 soldiers and 45 tanks ... still we beat the shit out of them.. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Longewala#Battle
@wtfaiwpodcast haha I mean this movie was made in the 90's, so the CGI is pretty good for Bollywood standards. The movie is based on the "Battle of Longowala" in the 1971 Indo-Pak war. Its quite an under dog's victory tale as a small task force of a 120 Indian infantrymen fought a whole Pakistani armored battalion. They had to withstand rigorous battle all night as the then Indian Air Force's hunter and marut aircraft were not able to fly night raids.
Thank you guys for making Indian movie world famous.
This movie is true story based.. and it was the right one man vanished multiple tanks..
Yup, the pilot can see ur thumbs up from up there lmao
People who are cynical about the movie should read 'The battle of Longewala' on Wikipedia. It is based on a true story. Major Chandpuri was real so were the 120 officers & soldiers of the Punjab regiment on the western sector during the Liberation of Bangladesh in1971.
This seems to be natural reaction from the 3 gentleman.
Indian movies are great particularly the old ones 1950s to early. 1980s.
