I rounded the corner into the holiday section and there it was hiding between the shelves. I had to reach through to get it...the price tag is $7.49, but I can still make a profit! Thank goodness it wasn't broken... lets go thrifting and find out what it was.

I’ll be hitting Salvation Army this weekend. I always laugh at what they see and price as valuable. Thrift is so limited here, only a few shops. I did find a marvelous carnival glass bowl recently. It was marked $15 but I ended up getting it for $3!!!

I love your vids. Just an FYI… the Mexican pottery pieces are pronounced “ tone-ahh-LA “ (accent on LA). It’s a town adjacent to Guadalajara where you can buy all kinds of housewares and Mexican glass and pottery for great prices.

Just thinking that when you find just one item of a pair, and it is worth money as a pair, and in good condition, you may want to buy it and offer it up by itself as perhaps someone has a chipped or broken one of their own set and would like it for a replacement. Just an idea.

Way back, didn't they have 'auxiliary' tanks on some military planes? Don't remember what they looked like and never understood how they fed the engines.

I have quite a few Kosta Boda snowball candles; some I picked up in Sweden; Others came from thrifting. I put them all together on a table at Christmas and they all glow. I have picked up odd ones to add to the collection. When I have three of one size, they move to another family household.

Tiffany. Frye boots use to be the best. I have many pairs. The original factory was near me in Hanover PA but sadly is now in China. The quality has come down.

2nd comment- I have a genuine question, not trying to be rude whatsoever. But when you pick up a modern piece, like the triangle vase with the lady’s face on it & it was originally $16.99 & still being sold in stores (I just saw the same vase at my local Fred Meyer (Kroger) store, do you still get $20-$25 for it? I assume not everyone has access to the same stores, so I guess it makes sense, but I am honestly curious. I am selling my own collections, some being more modern, so I am trying to figure out pricing. Thank you so much!
