DPA- I can't thank you enough for everything that you are doing to dismantle the harmful, non effective policies that are In place. I am moved beyond words how accurate your understanding of the drug war and the devastating impacts it has had on so many people. YOU ARE AMAZING, COURAGEOUS, AND YOU ARE WITHOUT OUT A DOUBT DOING GODS WORK. I LOVE YOU ALL.. THANK YOU..
This has nothing to do with the drug war.
I watched this and have to say that I strongly disagree with Meta self and would like to give you the chance to explain why you believe that the topics discussed in this video isn't related to the drug war. I would also like to hear what your perception of the drug war is and the impact it has had on the possibility for individuals that have been criminalized and stigmatized by current policies fueled by the drug war. I'm not wanting to offend you or appear to not be respectful of your beliefs I would just like to understand your perception of what the drug war is and to give you the opportunity to better explain your argument that this didn't have anything to do with the drug war.

These issues are broader than the scope of the DPA.
@@Meta_Myself Can you explain that better please?

There's a difference between the causes and effects of this drug war.
While the drug war has disproportionally impacted majority-black neighborhoods, DPA's mission is the target of the drug war at its source: government policy.
Taking on social justice initiatives, while laudable, is clouding the precision of the DPA's efforts to change specific drug policies.
We don't want to put too much on the DPA's plate.
