I am so, so happy you have found our barefoot angel and she has apparently crawled into your soul. Ive been following her for over 3 yrs now. She has changed my life. She has been given a gift from heaven to love people through the emotionality of her music. My take on you is that you are a sweet young woman with a very tender and open heart. Thank you for your sincere first reaction to Angelina. Again is is wonderful to see a young person react to her, please spread the word to your friends. She has covered many songs with her unique interpretation always making the words mire important surrounded by amazing vocalization. I highly recommend the songs she wrote. When you need a pick up try "7th heaven" the basic message is that life should be lived with hope. She said that the music is supposed to make you dance. Her other songs are "oslo" written at age 8 on her way back home to Oslo from NYC. "What is Life" written at 9 or 10. And "shield" written at 12 as a tribute to her family, for me the performance on the show Slavikin is gold. Sorry for no links as I am traveling and only have my phone.

There's something about her voice, she reaches into the deepest part of your soul and stirs the emotions there. besides singing she is the youngest published author in Norway and also does some painting. The book she wrote is about an experience she had in the middle east where she came across a bare footed girl about her age weighing people on a bathroom scale to earn money. I am 64 years old and never had a voice affect me, in such a positive way, like Angelina's. Anais, you began your Angelina journey with one of her originals. Another is "What is Life" *Why Angelina always performs barefoot* At age 6, while traveling in the Middle East with her mother and grandmother, Angelina noticed a girl around her age standing on the side of the road, asking people to step on her bathroom scale to be weighed in hopes of getting some money. Angelina took off her shoes so as to not get the scale dirty and stepped on the scale many times to make the girl feel better. Angelina befriends the girl who was not wearing shoes and has scars on her feet, and learns she is an orphan. The orphan girl tells Angelina how beautiful she thinks her shoes are. Angelina says her shoes don’t fit her well and she wants to give her shoes to the orphan girl who thanks Angelina for giving her the shoes. Angelina asked the girl what she wanted to be when she grew up and the girl replied, “I want to become a doctor, but that will never happen since I have no parents and I have siblings so I have to do whatever is necessary for us to survive.” Angelina told the girl to never give up on her dreams. The poor girl asked Angelina what she wanted to be when she grew up and Angelina replied that she wanted to sing for the whole world. The poor girl said she would pray every day so Angelina’s dream would come true. Angelina still says she thinks of that homeless girl every day and has always performed barefoot to remind her of all the children who are less fortunate. At age 9, she became the youngest published author in Norway’s history by writing a book about this encounter in the Middle East.

A bit of info that makes Angelina even more amazing when she was six years old, Angelina met a homeless, shoeless girl. After they talked for a long time, she gave the girl her shoes and vowed never to appear on stage again wearing shoes until all the world's children had them. Since that time, Angelina has always performed barefoot in public.
Angelina is not only a wonderful vocalist and incredibly creative person, she is also kind, humble, unpretentious and very caring. Hi Anais, Her maternal grandpa died after a long fight in the 4th quarter 0f 2019. She composed this song after AGT 2020, she was 14 years old. This grandpa was highly respected in Oslo, where he helped the homless people by bringing food and sometimes organised a job for some. Angelina Jordan Astar (her real Name) went with him often when she was little. So "the street saw her growing up". She was seen sometimes at Christmas to bring Christmas dinner to homeless people in LA herself. Someone saw her putting down the food beside a sleeping person, putting her finger to her lips and slipped silently away. YES this woman is so much more than a first class singer. She is (fact) highly intelligent, has a tiny bit bigger larynx than usual (deep voice) and is very good in language and mathematics. Playing for sure the piano and guitar. She has covered many songs with her unique interpretation always making the words mire important surrounded by amazing vocalization. I highly recommend the songs she wrote. When you need a pick up try "7th heaven" the basic message is that life should be lived with hope. She said that the music is supposed to make you dance. Her other songs are "oslo" written at age 8 on her way back home to Oslo from NYC. "What is Life" written at 9 or 10. And "shield" written at 12 as a tribute to her family, for me the performance on the show Slavikin is gold. Sorry for no links as I am traveling and only have my phone.

besides singing she is the youngest published author in Norway and also does some painting. The book she wrote is about an experience she had in the middle east where she came across a bare footed girl about her age weighing people on a bathroom scale to earn money. Angelina ended up giving her shoes to her and vowed to always sing in public barefooted until all the children of the world have shoes

I am 64 years old and never had a voice affect me, in such a positive way, like Angelina's. Anais, you began your Angelina journey with one of her originals. Another is "What is Life"
*Why Angelina always performs barefoot*
At age 6, while traveling in the Middle East with her mother and grandmother, Angelina noticed a girl around her age standing on the side of the road, asking people to step on her bathroom scale to be weighed in hopes of getting some money. Angelina took off her shoes so as to not get the scale dirty and stepped on the scale many times to make the girl feel better.
Angelina befriends the girl who was not wearing shoes and has scars on her feet, and learns she is an orphan. The orphan girl tells Angelina how beautiful she thinks her shoes are. Angelina says her shoes don’t fit her well and she wants to give her shoes to the orphan girl who thanks Angelina for giving her the shoes.
Angelina asked the girl what she wanted to be when she grew up and the girl replied, “I want to become a doctor, but that will never happen since I have no parents and I have siblings so I have to do whatever is necessary for us to survive.” Angelina told the girl to never give up on her dreams. The poor girl asked Angelina what she wanted to be when she grew up and Angelina replied that she wanted to sing for the whole world. The poor girl said she would pray every day so Angelina’s dream would come true.
Angelina still says she thinks of that homeless girl every day and has always performed barefoot to remind her of all the children who are less fortunate. At age 9, she became the youngest published author in Norway’s history by writing a book about this encounter in the Middle East.

A bit of info that makes Angelina even more amazing when she was six years old, Angelina met a homeless, shoeless girl. After they talked for a long time, she gave the girl her shoes and vowed never to appear on stage again wearing shoes until all the world's children had them. Since that time, Angelina has always performed barefoot in public.

You mentioned the Always On My Mind cover was for her other grandfather. Only the maternal one passed. Both songs are about him. Hi Anais, Her maternal grandpa died after a long fight in the 4th quarter 0f 2019. She composed this song after AGT 2020, she was 14 years old. This grandpa was highly respected in Oslo, where he helped the homless people by bringing food and sometimes organised a job for some. Angelina Jordan Astar (her real Name) went with him often when she was little. So "the street saw her growing up".
She was seen sometimes at Christmas to bring Christmas dinner to homeless people in LA herself. Someone saw her putting down the food beside a sleeping person, putting her finger to her lips and slipped silently away.
YES this woman is so much more than a first class singer. She is (fact) highly intelligent, has a tiny bit bigger larynx than usual (deep voice) and is very good in language and mathematics.
