Kids or no kids, go to an LSC meeting before this year ends.
Go to your local school council meeting at a Chicago public school. This is the most hyper local and high impact elected body you can engage with. They are elected, they spend your tax dollars, and they sit at every local Chicago public school. You can decide what happens in your own backyard right now.
