I guess the backup girls are older and are trying to sound like anime characters, but the main singer is just 14, and her voice is cute without trying. ^__^
Who could have thought that the Mai back then would be the great Mai we know and love today... I still can't believe she is fifteen in this video (Maybe she's 14, idk) . Anyways, It's good for her. On a last note, I'm sure many of you real fans may have noticed, but Mai always seems to say Thank you at the end of a song. I thought that that habit was only formed recently but to think that even from this early age she had that habit, i don't know how many singers exist in the world who do that after every single song, but then again i don't listen to many singers of these days.

Afraid I gotta disagree there D: Ive heard lots of live ones of youtube that are cringe worthy. This is probably the best japanese live ive ever seen with singing. Wouldnt be surprised if it were a voiceover though.
I disagree... some people just have deeper voices and others have higher normal voices. I don't think the back-up girls were necessarily trying to sound cute. I suppose it sounds that way but I dunno... there are plenty of people with super high normal voices. ^^;
