How do you clear and set the value in 1 step? For example, I didn't clear the memory and I have the new value to store calculated. How can save this new value to memory (not add it to existing value in memory)?
The Memory buttons are basically excel "=sum()" function where M- makes what ever the answer is negative and M+ makes it positive and when you Recall you get the total. So if you wanted the first result subtracted from the total, just M-.
It should work just like a calculator with four memory keys (MC MR M+ and M-) with one limitation: you can't clear the memory in the middle of a calculation.
This is weird. I want to add 20% to something (not tax related), say 100. On my other calculators I would type in 100 then + then 20 %, answer 125, wrong
So funny that Casio has to release a video to teach this! People just need to read the manual that comes with the calculator or see behind the box! In the 1980s everyone read their manuals. What is the world coming to?
I read the manual that came with mine and it didn't explain anything, didn't even tell me what any of the keys meant, it was pretty useless. It just showed a bunch of calculations without explanations. Like it would say, push the diamond button to get your result. Well what is the diamond button doing and what does it mean? No explanation.
Simple and straight forward!
I can't believe it can be this good

It takes two step to do it:
1. Hit MC to clear the memory
2. Hit M+ to put the currently displayed number in memory.
How to turn off the calculator?
How do you subtract the first result from the second?
The Memory buttons are basically excel "=sum()" function where M- makes what ever the answer is negative and M+ makes it positive and when you Recall you get the total. So if you wanted the first result subtracted from the total, just M-.
I only have 3 M keys: mrc m+ and M-. so how would memory calculations work with just 3 keys...
on my calculator which has those same 3 keys, pressing mrc once recalls memory, and pressing it twice clears memory
It should work just like a calculator with four memory keys (MC MR M+ and M-) with one limitation: you can't clear the memory in the middle of a calculation.
Nice nice
What if the key has MR/CM
Memory Recall whatever is stored and Clear Memory after it's recalled

I have the same problem and I have no idea why!!!
( twenty percent ) of ( one hundred )
( .20 ) x ( 100 )
= 20
Add to 100.

People need this for work or school, who didn't purchase the calculator but need to use it, doesn't have access to a manual.
