One thing to notice, is that it seems that Vanessa acts as more of an ally in the trailers, but is a barely included enemy in the game.
Yet she is included in the good ending. Doesn't make much sense honestly :( I really hate that. If there was a part where she was like "oh alright I'll actually help you instead of just locking you up", it would be acceptable, but she barely appears, when she does she doesn't help, instead she actually gets in the way, and then she, out of nowhere, it's... on the happy ending.
well scott left the project halfway so alot of things have changed
and we see her twice as well as in an unexplainable good ending
The game was actually supposed to be 5 nights long(plus bonus nights like the other games) and we were gonna watch as Vanessa slowly desend into madness, and turn into Vanny, however steelwool Decided to change everything about the game, made Freddy the good guy(he was gonna be an enemy like the original games), Vanessa the bad guy, and the other animatronics... honestly Steelwool doesn't know how to make a FNaF game good without Scott's help..we need him back
She barely IS in the game
I miss the old concept. Vanessa and Vanny played larger roles and actually made a huge contribution to the game. In the final version we have, Vanessa isn't helpful she's kinda annoying unfortunately and Vanny doesn't make to big of an impact except she's a menace sometimes. It also looked like we had some Afton voice lines which would've also been cool. The graphics also seemed a lot less glitchy and very smooth and detailed. It seems like they ran out of time, money, or just genuinely didn't care after Scott left which is upsetting to see:(
With scott's disappearance, fan pressure, and the fact that they ran out of time, we got a shitty version which is probably 50% than what they originally planned. hope they make a dlc where everything they removed will be in.
I really dont care if scott is a trump supporter. He really breathed life into fnaf.
It was a combo of three, scott leaving but still giving them the green light, (this could have caused the confusion cause scott was the one giving the green light based on how he felt about the idea)

From what I heard, apparently they couldn't put more of Vanny in the game bc she was rlly buggy and they didn't have enough time to debug it.
If they gave steel wool another like year or two, I bet they could have made an amazing game, three times as good as the current game..

What they were going for in the beginning would have been much more fitting for the story than what we got
I’ve just realized that there is a lot that changed from the first two trailers. The first one vannys voice sounded more human, now it’s very robotic. In the second there is a lot that changed. You never see Vanessa while going down an elevator, we never go to a main security camera like hub, and more.
I'm hoping vanny and Vanessa play alot more of a part in the dlc they might release.
Matpatt mentioned something along the lines of circus baby coming back, could it be plausible that baby could be taking over vanessa? since she has the ability to BE a person as stated in the books

seems like after scott left, steel wool rebranded and changed the game's story a lot. I liked the original design and feel. felt more like an actual fnaf game than an open world stealth game

I'll be honest the first fnaf security trailer seems more darker, scarier and story driven than the one we got right now. I do wish they focused more on both the game and the story but who knows what will the DLC might offer.

Gonna be honest, now that the actual game is out it looks so underwhelming compared to the trailers. You can see there's a lot of cut and changed content and it just isn't as interesting as it could have been. Vanny and Vanessa are hardly a part of the actual game but were made to be some of the main characters through the trailers, not to mention the game itself is pretty buggy and just difficult to play with.
you gotta remember that almost all games start off buggy but the bugs get fixed after scott watches some game plays or he hears about the bugs through complaints

@@user-qq6no7bh7h I agree that almost all games are bit buggy in the beginning but this one seems to bug more than it actually functions. The game just seems so undone compared to what Scott has put out before and that's frustrating for the community. Everyone has waited patiently for this, excited to see what they were going to do as they made it out like the wait was going to benefit the game and now it just hasn't.

So from what I've gathered from these trailers, it seems like the original story was for Vanessa to help you escape, but she's being threatened by Afton to bring something to him (presumably Gregory). Vanny is her split personality where she becomes controlled by Afton and tries to kill Gregory, which is why she is apologizing to him and telling him it was just a glitch in the first trailer.

Is it just me or as much as i loved fnaf sb the trailers kinda made the game out to be like a whole different story. I was looking forward having venesa helping us get put and so many voices lines and scenes i wish we could of scene that didint make the cut. Hoping to see some dlc but a note from studio wool said itll probably be delayed since there busy fixing all the bugs
FNAF has evolved so so much, honestly this has more detail than all of the other games, I'm really proud of Scott and steel wool studios
why the indev versions looks better, 2:33 daycare looks better than the final, 2:45 fazwatch also feels more authentic than the final, some animatronics look better, moon does not behave well than the one in trailer, I hope they return these things. Teleportations break the immersion a lot, it would be better if it's like how Freddy runs to you.

3:49 this catches a bit of my attention, because if you compare you can see how Vanessa looks much calmer, since she definitely was supposed to be an ally, I imagine she would catch us at some point but not in the "gotcha" way, more like a ".. finally got you" way, if that makes sense
3:20 is probably the most accurate to the actual game while the other trailers were all about Vanny when we don’t even see her that much 😭
it feels like they were pressured to get the game out quickly and had to cut out most of the content they wanted to add. vanny was being hyped up as the main villain, vanessa was supposed to help gregory apparently and you can tell william afton was supposed to play a role in the story too and none of that seemed to be added in the final product in a relevant way

It's crazy to think how far this franchise has come in just a few years. Damn I remember when the original game was out and all you could see on UA-cam's home page was let's plays of it haha. I'm thoroughly enjoying this game, I didn't think free roam would be good but holy crap it's fantastic!

I never thought Security Breach was that bad. In fact, I thought it was a huge step in the Fnaf games, but after seeing these trailers again after the game....yeah.....we definitely could have gotten way more. I mean, the game is alright, but seeing these, it's way obvious they had something else planned, and it was gonna be big. But then time constraints and fan demands forced them to released an unfinished games. I hope they create dlc, or maybe do like Warner Brothers and release a Scott Cut of security breach.
Wel'l go on, find a few peoples to help you with graphisms and others things you need to develope a game I would love to see what this would look like. Seriously most of the comments of this video are roasting the actual security breach because it does not look exactly like in the trailers. But could you please think about how much Sott and wool studio worked on this game before saying that you expected ?

The point I was trying to make was, while good, they obviously wanted to do more, but the fans rushed Steel Wool to force a game out that was unfinished and still needed beta testing. This is no fault of Steel Wool, and the fans should understand that if they want something, they need to be patient.

Looks like from the 3rd trailer, Vanessa was supposed to help you instead of Freddy and she would turn on you at times when ever Afton gets involved. I honestly like this more than the game than we got. it also looks like Afton was going to have a bigger part in the game from the end of one of the trailers (I forgot which one) since you can see a sneak peak of him moving his hand to behind a barrel.
I wish Vanny was involved in the game just a little bit more tbh.

As the game play isn’t as “scary” just know that THIS is like the beginning of a new fnaf era. You could say that this can be compared to the first EVER fnaf game, I bet (though I do hope that there’s more lore and games about them) that they would probably get scarier, way more better with controls, looks, and feels. So do keep your head high for the next game!
I mean if you look past the bugs, the clunky AI, and all the other problems, the game is actually really well made. The graphics, while computer destroying, are amazing, the gameplay is less scary but still entertaining and can be butt clenching at times, and its also very lore heavy and I can't wait to see the theories people come up with.

@@blitz9309 thats not at all what I said lol. I said the gameplay is less scary but still very entertaining! There are obviously many bugs with it but I enjoy the many different puzzles and the many ways you have to avoid the animatronics is really fun. I believe that the game may have come out a little too early with the amount of problems it has, but overall its a perfect start to the new chapter of fnaf games.

The "Monty voice" is William pretty sure. And the female voice is what I am going to assume is Vanessa.
@Kloyster it sounds nothing like Monty. The voice actor they have for Monty doesn't sound like that at all. Also, I'm pretty sure it was William cause he's old and crusty it sounds like a crusty old guy.

I like how everyone thought the security bots will help us because Roxanne stopped when she was near it but it was the camera thing and the security bots do nothing but send animatronics at you

very cool how the original plot was supposed to be the security guard helping Gregory, but they changed it into Freddy helping Gregory, which I think is a LOT better, and leaves room for lots of lore and theories as to WHY Freddy is a good guy now. I loved the game so much :D
That doesn't really make any sense since Freddy is obviously helping Gregory in the very first teaser, while Vanessa helps in the first trailer.
Maybe their was a choice to make between both of them and in the end they just made Freddy the helper
It was a good idea but they shouldnt have changed it and kept the original game launch date. The game is bugged and the reason the file is so big is because It loads a ton of unnecessary areas. When In a certain room near the raceway it loads a completely unused and fake full version of the entire area.
the fact that monty (from the sound of it) was the only animatronic to have a voiced line in the second trailer, and the nature of it, leads me to believe that he was originally a much bigger antagonist than he ended up being. this would also explain why his 'boss battle' is more cinematic and intense than chica or roxy's, if he was supposed to be more of a 'final boss' before. his takeover from bonnie and sudden rise to fame might have been a bigger plot point, the fact that he was only second to freddy in the lineup possibly meaning he had more power over others. very interesting.
ya know hopefully the game has more secrets like example into the pit bonnie where if you stay in the pitball for a minute or so you would immediately get captured by the unexpected into the pit bonnie
Something like that would make sense, as it is a game with a form of spring Bonnie, which just so happens to have ballpits as a mechanic ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Sry but i have to say that the trailer are so much better than the Game itself 😐
Im so dissapointed that I havent seen any scenes in the game use this dialogue. It doesnt sound like vanny in the game either- (Refering to the first trailer shown here) Or the same jumpscare- I will be honest im not a huge fan of the jumpscares used in the actual game, I much prefer the one in the first trailer haha.
looking back on the first two trailers compared to the game we now have, it feels like there was almost a last minute story shift from Vanessa helping and being seperate from Vanny, to her and Vanny now being the same
Looking back at these trailers, there are a lot of unused assets and voice clips and a whole lot of stuff that I'm assuming was cut from the final version. I love the game a lot I'm just slightly disappointed because there was so much going on and it didn't make it to the final cut. Like why was Gregory there in the first place, why was he so sketchy about Vanessa, who is saying all these ominous things. I hope these lore aspects get put into the game and will put more context into the story if people dig deeper. I love the game so much I just felt there could be more after watching these trailers.

The trailers look so different from the game itself. I would've liked to see what the game was originally like. Because look at the dialogue, we could've had more dialogue from Vanny other than; "are you having fun yet?" Hell, we could've had more dialogue from more characters. Clearly this game isn't complete at all and it sucks.
It's kinda sad that they didn't use some of the areas or voice lines in the trailers for the game
In the game we don't see any of the lines from the security guard about getting Gregory out what is up with that?
I never found the original four games to be scary, especially the first three, as you just sit in the same spot and look around, then have a character slowly pop into the doorframe. SB, however? The trailers alone have me shitting bricks, i cant wait for midnight (EST) for the gameplay to start being uploaded online, i definitely wont be able to play this one.
The jump scares in security breach are not scary at all. They remind me of fnaf 3 jump scares.

I love how ballora's music box was incorporated into the trailer to still give it the feel from the past games in the series :D Ballora would make an excellent daycare attendent ngl, she'd be motherly towards the kids. I wish vannessa/vanny would play bigger roles in the game though.

Yea you’re definitely not the only one. The trailers are so much different from what the game is now, they seemed more interesting. Like who was talking to Gregory (the woman voice)? I just think the game should’ve been longer, and with more lore.
@@theabyssprincess7889 Agreed, they didn’t have much lore or much of a backstory for Gregory. I feel like he should have had more backstory. All we know so far is that he might be a missing child who’s homeless. Thats all we really know about him. And we were left with a bunch of questions like where are his parents? Does he have parents? If he does then what happened to them? Did they die? I feel like he should have had more backstory. And I’ve always questioned why the animatronics are self aware and why does Freddy and only Freddy wanna help us? Are they just very high tect so much that there self aware. Or is someone very important to Gregory possessing Freddy. Like maybe his father? A popular theory I’ve heard is that the Pizza plex was built in the same area as pizzeria simulator so maybe Michael’s spirit is possessing Freddy. Like we don’t get much lore about the animatronics and I really wish they had more lore.
@@Mocha_Moone I agree on this a lot- i thought there would be way more lore, and questions answered for how big Security Breach is. Also i think the reason only Freddy wants to help us is because, Vanessa alerted the other to. And since she’s Vanny she probably made them do that or something. The only one who wasn’t alerted was Freddy. But yea there definitely should’ve been more lore and i hope there’s more games to come in the future.
Vanny in that very first sneak peek seems like she could maybe find us inside Freddy, and she would be an actual threat throughout the game possibly, and that Vanessa wanted to escape as well.
The cartoons make a lot of sense, the enemy that was chasing us (foxy) could be a metaphor for vanny, and being revealed to be a robot makes sense as well, considering how vanny was probably originally going to be a robot, then eventually joining the good side, via the princess ending, another way to link this to vanny is the shot at the end of the cartoon where vanny shows up, basically saying that last cartoon has a lot to do with vanny, I wouldn’t be surprised if each cartoon relates to one of the endings in some way.
The original build of the game seemed so much scarier and more thought out I wish we got that

The trailers just confirm to me that the game isn't what it set out to be. The differences between trailers 1/2 compared to the rest show it was Vanessa who helped Gregory and even freddy was meant to be evil. Something about how venessa and Gregory had to diliver something to afton?
It's no wonder the games an unfinished and in some areas unplayable mess. Wish they stuck to threir original vision.
Honestly I wish they would just rerelease the game once they could actually add all the details they wanted to add without pressure to release it quickly

The second trailer was the best version of the game. Better than the one that came out.
It's crazy how different the first two trailers are compared to the others. Vanny and Vanessa seem so important in the first two trailers but in the other trailers it just seems like they scrapped who they were. The game barely features Vanny and Vanessa which makes me wonder if it's a bug but the little they appear in general makes me think otherwise. Like Vanny seems epic! Too bad she just skips towards you a little and says one line. Vanessa seems like they changed her from loving and caring to mean and rude. But that's my opinion.

Anyone else remember the hype when we saw Burntrap's claw? I was screaming
I noticed that the little jingle that plays when showing the Glamrocks in the second trailer sounds a like the jingle that plays in Ballora's room in Sister Location
Also in the same trailer, when Vanny peeks behind the door, the jingle that plays it sounds like the beginning of the jingle that plays in FNaF 1 when you run out of power and Freddy shows up
I wish Vanny’s jumpscare would be like the one in the first trailer, the original one isn’t that scary
I hope they actually work on security breach honestly. Even though it is out, they possibly can work on all the glitches, add more things that were included in the trailers, stuff they do want to put in but couldn’t, etc. It seems like a very good concept of Freddy turning good (since he too had the red glow in his eyes in the trailer then glitched out on stage in the beginning of the game), funny glitches honestly, put in more instructions (saw many you tubers that had trouble with that part). I don’t blame them completely since people kept forcing steel wood studios to release it when they most likely were trying to work on the kinks and got too frustrated. Who knows?
Plus, if steel wood keeps working on fnaf, they could come out with a much more scarier fnaf (than security breach. Will admit, security breach is much more “kid friendly” looking). This fnaf could be more lore based then anything else.
Would pay for this version of the game
In the trailers, Vanny was hyped up, and Vanessa was supposed to be an ally. Now, Vanny only appears twice and Vanessa is an enemy and hardly shows up. And there was a voice threatening two people (maybe Burntrap and Vanny) saying they would burn. They scrapped so many things after Scott retired. The game could’ve been so much better.

I wish they’d do what DC did with justice league and rerelease the whole game with what they originally intended. But with Ruin that won’t happen now but it would’ve been nice as they could’ve taken another year to secretly redo everything while everyone gets to grips with the game they did release
All of these people in the comments complaining about the game piss me off. We did this. We pressed them into releasing it earlier so it isn’t as good as it would have been if they’d had more time to work on it.

I'm very glad for Glamrock Freddy but the fact that Vanessa could have been an ally and protector would have been cool :(

i think the major mistake they made was making the game's audience more directed towards kids and therefore removing vanny's original jumpscare and all other actual scary aspects of the game

Do y'all realize that we were supposed to find out that Vanny was Vanessa, but you know, she was but she was trying to help Gregory, but she gets more corrupted the more she wore the suit. And springtrap wants both of them. Also showing hints that they did get possessed by Burt trap. And Bonnie was supposed to be in the game, and Freddy was supposed to betray us, and clearly, they were all friendly just because of how they acted when they can clearly sense more than what they can see, and there were some deleted voices for the ending with Springtrap too.
Fun Fact: Most Of Those Are Not Confirmed. Vanny Might Be Vanessa Or Might Not Be Vanessa. There Were Never Any Info Of Bonnie Being In The Game Other Than Bonnie Bowl Excisting. Ok, Freddy Might Have Betrayed Us.
This game had so much potential, the first two trailers showed that the devs obviously had a completely different idea towards the feeling of the games, gameplay, content and story. The first trailers showed a lot more content even though some things still looked and sounded unfinished, it looked a lot better then what we have now. The version we got had so much unused content and bugs, it was obviously rushed. Vanessa and vanny seemed to have a much more larger role with the old version, but the version we got, Vanessa appears like 5 times through the whole game. Huge let down.
I feel like vannys old jumpscare is more scarier then the one in the final version also the scream is disturbing ngl
It would've been cool if Vanessa would help Gregory sometimes but when she's Vanny, she tries to lure Gregory to places so that he would get trapped and then u would become Freddy and when ur Freddy u have a limited time to rescue Gregory before the others find him so like, u can rescue him by doing minigames or something (but u also never know if it's Vanessa or Vanny, there would be clues who would be talking tho but very subtle)
